Jack is Back!

RB,

Will this be the same Repo Team that was so successful in The 'Stan a few decades back or are they a more learned Repo Team this time out having done such fine snuff work in Georgia, Checnya and Crimea?

narciso

No we're talking some of the units I sidnt seven know volodya had deployed in the donbass last year.

rse

Given my personal experience with several of the touted members of this Georgians for Kasich team announced today, http://www.peachpundit.com/2015/09/14/john-kasich-announces-georgia-leadership-team/#more-77921

he is definitely the new GOPe, PPP, CoC candidate. Even apart from what I know about Ohio and education.

rse

PPP=Public-private partnerships as the 21st panacea .

narciso

Yes it's that latter group.

Miss Marple

Here is one refugee I would welcome to the US:

http://freebeacon.com/culture/imperiled-marine-interpreter-reaches-austria/

Miss Marple

I hope Kasich is trounced in Wednesday's debate.

I dislike him more than Bush. So there you go.

narciso

Just following John huntsman' wise man weaver, it seems the top men proffer any color of model a, as long as they are nakers and mind arson providers.

narciso

So the weak has set journolister ambinder to write an early Halloween tale, the dark times of donalds first term, well it has shamalyan feel to it.

Marlene

My little birdie called me this morning while driving into work. We talked politics and she said the buzz in DC is all about Kasich.
Gov.LePage joined Gov.Christie at an event in NH yesterday. Christie is about 1% in the new WaPo poll. Maybe either LePage or Christie can be press secretary. Howie Carr is talking to a NH political pundit and he just said the people in Ohio are happy about Kasich running. The guy never met Captain Hate!

daddy

Kudlow's Podcast is finally up.

Here's a bit of his Money And Politics panel that he always has on as the show closes, that shows how frightened some of these guys are of Republicans putting up any fights in the House or Senate, especially some panelist named "E. O'Brien Murray, known to friends and colleagues as "O'B." and identified by Kudlow in his intro this way "Welcome O.B.Murray, Republican Political Strategist, and "awarded the Campaign Manager of the Year in 2012, I believe for managing Bob Turner's Congressional upset."

Kudlow: Bill Whalen, what you're saying, let me make sure I get this. McConnell should have said, when they had that vote, 42 votes for Filibuster, which meant no Cloture, McConnell should have said, "OK , fine, get your cots ready, get your water bottles ready, we're going to have a filibuster next week, we're going to have it out...

Bill Whalen: (Hoover Institution) Right. Force everyone of the 42 Democrats down into the well of the Senate and be on the record defending this deal...you've got to fight the way the other side would fight

Kudlow: What do you think OB, just go to the walls?

O.B. Murray: Look, I think in a perfect world, I would say that might be the case, but right now you would have the whole Democratic Party do a filibuster. Remember, they would control the floor, the microphones, and the media and they could talk about whatever they want. They don't have to just talk about the bill.

Kudlow: Yeah, but for crissakes,...you're technically right but what the Democrats are saying is "No vote on the Vote. We don't even want to vote on the Iran Deal," which is the most cowardly thing I've ever seen...on the most important policy deal we've seen in decades...

Olbermeyer: The Democrats played this well, but the question is "Do you want to give them the Microphone, and the National Media, to be on Prime Time talking about things unrelated to this Bill?
---------------------------

So whoever this OB Murray guy is, "Repub Campaign Manager of the Year" he is more afraid of allowing the Dem's, 13 months out from an Election, the opportunity to say whatever they want and have the MSM blab about it, then he is in having the Repub's stand up and take a stand and put Dem's on the record. What the hell does OB think the MSM does each and every single day?

OB, was also the guy who thought Kasich was looking pretty good.

Anyhow, Kudlow was back and forth, but finally thought making them filibuster was better than doing nothing, so maybe there's hope for Larry.

Miss Marple

Marlene,

Maybe they're happy because he's out of the state!

If DC buzz is about Kasich, that just shows how out of touch they all are.

Buckeye

MM

I agree with your sentiment about Kasich, but he doesn't seem to be easily intimidated by the media or detractors. He tends to ignore them and change the subject so he can talk about how he "feels".

I think he is more likely to suffer self-inflicted harm as opposed to being taken out by someone else.

I've got to take the goat award away from "The Poodle", Dave (in MA), if what Rashad Jennings is claiming is true.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/did-giants-tell-rashad-jennings-not-to-score-at-end-of-cowboys-loss-145120015.html

Unless Jennings somehow misunderstood his instructions, notwithstanding my respect for Coughlin, I've got to switch Goat of the Week award to Coughlin.

Buckeye

And yes we are happy Kasich isn't spending much time in Ahia! Less time to hose something up.

James D

TC, if that's really what happened, and he was told not to score, Coughlin and anyone else involved in that decision should be fired immediately.

Seriously.

In the last Giants-Pats Super Bowl, not scoring made sense, because they were losing at the time, and the Pats would be within one score regardless of whether the Giants got a TD or an FG. So falling down at the one foot line to burn another 40 seconds off the clock made perfect sense (and it didn't work anyway, because Ahmad Bradshaw fell into the end zone, and thePats did have one last chance for a drive).

But scoring a TD would have given the Giants a two-score lead, and that would have been far more important than the extra 40 seconds Dallas would have had.

I hope it's not true. As boneheaded as Coughlin's decisions were on that last drive, it's difficult to believe he could have been THAT stupid.

narciso

Jazz Shaw who has kept his calm on the trump matter offered the am binder tidbit.

glasater

I would bet a bunch of bucks that the DC intel community isn't happy having their briefs modified before hitting Zero's eyeballs.

rse

To me the DC chatter on Kasich is just proof the GOPe is determined to have a nominee A-OK with the whole WIOA Triple Hekix planned economy at the state, regional, and local levels going forward.

GMax

Wait I was thinking he said to the entire offense to not score, ALL NIGHT. That is the reason why the offense generated exactly nine points ( three field goals ), rest being interception and fumble returns by defense, and a gimme fg after the third turnover.

Or are the Giants that lame?

Thomas Collins

It would be a lousy way for Coughlin to have to end a distinguished coaching career, James D. But if it's true, I agree it's beyond boneheaded.

Dave (in MA)

It appears that the victim of the Delta State shooting was a married professor, and the shooting suspect being sought was a coworker. And male. And the professor's special friend. And the suspect in another shooting. Of a female.

I can kind of understand the GOPe thinking about Kasich …. “So, the base doesn’t like soft-spoken, cerebral Jeb, eh? Then we’ll get them with the extroverted, smiling Kasich!“

No awareness that the base no longer trusts any of them, nor any of the candidates they put forward.

Miss Marple

Art in Newport,

Exactly right. I used to like Bobby Jundal, but after his repeated juvenile tweets about Trump, I am off him as well.

And, there is an article on Fiorina knowingly selling HP stuff to Iran through a 3rd party, which, if true, is not good.

Slowly but surely, they are pushing me into the Trump camp.

The Bloomberg piece, this is the dual use problem we discovered with pre Saddam Iraq.

Well it's a slightly different issue, this is the Iran deal was a fair accompli, everyone from Soros to Koch had some involvement in that country.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/04/13/white.house.email/index.html

Did you read that right. These emails are quite possibly in the internal logs of all the servers they passed through while in transit.

Classified emails passed through commercial email services like Google and AOL on their path to or from a private server maintained by Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state, but so far, the government appears to have done little to retrieve or secure the messages.

A POLITICO review of Clinton emails made public by the State Department shows that at least 55 messages now deemed to include classified information appear to have been sent to or from private accounts other than Clinton’s. That number is certain to grow substantially as State processes all Clinton emails and sorts through emails turned over to the department by several of her top aides.

"The same exact people who ran these places into the ground," the private companies paid to build and manage the city's affordable housing, "now are profiting by redeveloping them."

Obama believes deeply that privatization works. He once told theChicago Tribune that he had briefly considered becoming a developer of affordable housing, but after graduating from Harvard Law School in 1991, he turned down a job with Tony Rezko's development company, Rezmar, to instead work at the civil rights law firm Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. The firm represented a number of nonprofit companies that were partnering with private developers to build affordable housing with government subsidies.
