I saw the Dartmouth article, and all I can say is that I hope the parents of the students who were physically assaulted are on the phone to their lawyers right now.
I imagine there might be some grounds for lawsuits against the school for allowing these animals (and that's being kind to them) to roam freely, to disrupt the studies that parents/kids/loans-subsidized-by-us are paying for, and to actually commit assault and battery.
I also imagine there might be lawsuits against the individual protestors, especially the ones who committed assaults.
And there certainly ought to be criminal charges pressed. And obviously expulsions.
Of course, none of that will actually hapeen, I'm guessing.
