Donald Trump asserts that Bill Clinton is a sexual predator and who can deny it?
I think the 99 44/100 percent astute Ed Morrissey goes astray here:
Whether one likes Trump or not, whether one considers him a vulgarian or not, this is a smart play. However, it might have been more effective closer to the general election. Telegraphing this punch now will reduce its effectiveness for when it might be really needed.
Well, really needed for what? Right now Trump needs to contest the Republican nomination, and I am highly confident that his supporters (and plenty of other conservatives, starting with the man in my mirror) are delighted to see any Republican give it to Hillary with both barrels. And if Trump then throws the gun at her, fine. (OK, I deplore that violent imagery. Is this really any way to ring in the New Year? Let me dial that back to a kinder, gentler "Loose the hounds!".)
As to whether airing this topic now will reduce its impact in the general election, who can say? Wild Bill's ghastly history is already old news. Hillary claiming next September that it became old news in January is hardly likely to convince anyone whose mind is not already made up. And Hillary and her supporters are likely to be airing the "Sexist! War on Women" charge in response to any and every slight, so the question of why progressives give Bill's one-man war on women a pass will be an evergreen.
Me!

It may be that Trump is setting up his real issues.
The demoncrats will say (are saying) 'old news, old news' but the real attacks will be against Hillary:
1) Hillary covered for and enabled him.
2) A vote for Hillary is a vote to put a sexual predator in the White House.
I could be overthinking this :p

Interesting.
The first story on Drudge today is about the test of a bunch of missiles from Iran to within 1500y of a US Carrier. Just testing, they say. Please don't do that, we say.
The last story on Drudge is the German angst over a new printing of Mein Kampf.

Trump calling out Bill the Predator? The optimist in me wants to believe Trump is setting up the next Donaldlanche when the Legacy Media scream "OK BJ is a predator, but who cares Hilligula is running." BAM! Le Donald's response is 1. Hilligula was equally cruel to the women in her attacks on them (trailer trash) covering for BJ, and 2. we all know Hilligula is stroke addled and can't actually be POTUS, this is BJ's way back in. This is a tremendous way to let the SWF voters know that their Mom's peeps are pigs and not worth a vote. Of course, this is the optimist in me; what Le Donald is really up to? who knows.

Yesterday I was drawing a blank on the name of one of Bill's victims. I went to 3 separate web sites that had lists and all were very slow to load, which might have meant a lot of people were looking it up.
People under 30 probably have no knowledge of this, as parents likely didn't discuss it or they were too young to even pay attention. A lot of those books about him are no longer in print and (I have no doubt) purged from library shelves, if they were ever even there.

Katherine Willey, Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, for starters.
He has also been not very private about his current carrying on with other women. That's not abuse or assault, and maybe it even gets Hillary some sympathy, but it's part of the overall picture of her enabling him.

--Trump played the Bill's a predator card after Hillary played the Trump's a sexist card.--
Yeah and now Memorandum has the headline "Donald Trump doesn't understand what ‘sexism’ is" from some dumb cluck at CNN.
I don't have to even read it to know that real sexism is saying certain trigger words like "HIStory". And it's refusing to admit women are paid 1% of what men are, though every reputable study that controls for factors like education, pregnancy, time in the work force etc demonstrates women make slightly more than men. And most importantly, it's not supporting a woman's right to choose to kill her baby even though ~half of those dead babies are little women.
And of course he goes on to explain that sexism is not arranging trysts with sad, lonely subordinate girls in your employ. Nor is it raping women or pouncing on them after their husband has committed suicide. Nor is it shaming and embarrassing your wife by screwing hundreds of women while married to her. And it's not even shaming and embarrassing the women who have the courage to speak out against your serial adulterer and abuser husband.
Guys like this assbite aren't afraid Trump doesn't know what real sexism is. They're afraid he and we all know what it is and for once are willing to talk about it, rather than their stupid fables.

Every Trumpburst is aimed at the intelligentsia's stereotypical view of what motivates the republican base guaranteeing maximum free media. Much like Clinton and Obama before him everything Trump says is aimed at making today's sale without regard to what he'll have to say tomorrow. The upper limit on a quake in CA is considerably less due to two plates merely grinding past each other horizontally down here. Plus I'm about 100 miles east of the San Andreas fault and 75 miles west of the fault on the backside of the Sierra Nevada.

The current braying of the jackass will have minimal impact unless Red Witch reacts with more obvious lies. She suffers most by appearing in public, followed by exposure of lies. Retelling tales of her exploits as rapist enabler doesn't help her but it won't do much damage unless she can be induced to appear in public and lie again.

Our little glass box sets on reinforced concrete pilings down into live rock about 50' above the quiet water. A tsunami would most likely come down the Straits of Juan de Fuca and try to bust through the oriface at Cattle Pass where it would be damped out considerably. With little warning, we would probably go up on the roof and watch the end. With 20 min. warning we could probably get into the air, if the hangar didn't collapse.

Smart move by the Trumpster by bringing up Bill's predations and The Hill's protecting Bill now. Oligarchy Media will have more difficulty ignoring this issue now that Trumpster has put this front and center. As to its relevance, let's ask ourselves the following two questions:
-If an individual reasonably expected to be the primary advisor to a potential GOP POTUS had Bill's resume of predatory conduct towards women, would Oligarchy Media think it relevant?
-If said potential GOP POTUS had trashed the accusers to protect the advisor, would Oligarchy Media think it relevant?
In any event, I doubt there will be much more talk about Trumpster being a front for The Hill. Trumpster is clearly in this to win.

The talk radio I have heard has been sympathetic towards Manning, CH. There has been some whining about Brady getting grilled more on the air pressure matter than Manning is getting grilled on HGH. However, it's also been pointed out on talk radio that Brady and his air pressure came to public attention with Brady having a great season and the Pats about to play in a Super Bowl, while the HGH story comes when Manning is most likely finished as a grade A QB.

If Red Witch refuses the bait, a skilled pol trying to do damage rather than crow from atop a manure pile, would use her own words as answer. The damage would come from contrasting 'accusers should be believed' (paraphrase) to her comments after every bimbo eruption.
Accounts of her attacks on the victims of the Rapist would be much more damaging to her than the her other enabling actions. Pounding LIAR into rather thick skulls will have the most beneficial results.

Way to start the New year:
NYT: "The governor of Puerto Rico said on Wednesday that two groups of its bondholders would be denied more than $35 million of interest due to them Jan. 1, but in fact the island was defaulting on a much larger sum.
In a briefing with journalists, Gov. Alejandro García Padilla said the government could not pay $35.9 million due to the holders of bonds issued by its Infrastructure Financing Authority, or $1.4 million due to holders of its Public Finance Corporation’s bonds.
