To us "skin in the game" is our own equity not some investor backer. We always controlled our own projects from inception througreeh completion. And I agree, the role of "owner" is often overlooked in the success and the failure of those projects.
A Sarah Palin endorsement of Donald Trump would do more damage to Palin's conservative credentials than it would to Ted Cruz, the candidate's communications director said Tuesday, remarking that he would be "deeply disappointed."

AND--if you are on antibiotics--take probiotics NOW. Today. Not just yogurt with live cultures--you need pills with bugs in gelatin capsules so you don't get c dif colitis (which I suspect is what killed Glenn Frye. Just a guess.)
We happen to experts at this house. Pretty sure I know more about it than your orthopod. May know about it than your internist. Heck, more than some ID specialists. Kinda like rse and Common Core.
SAP means special access program or codeword programs. We used to be called 'black projects' because they don't exist on budget. While the classification exists, you can't even say the name of the program - it's that classified.
If this is true, then it's a much bigger deal than some 'mere' TS documents that were mishandled. I can't see this being swept under the rug. People who work, or have worked, SAP-level projects, such as myself, take this shit quite seriously.
Wow, Obama's EP claims are finally being beaten back on F&F. I'm sure they have already destroyed the incriminating evidence, but at least something has been done to expose the fraud at the heart of this administration.
I don't know how the DoJ cannot indict Hillary at this point. The DoD is trying to cow Petraeus, who has been convicted for much less.
The Caliphate is already on our shores facilitated by progs and gullible pols.
What ISIS accomplishes by brute force, the Muslim Brotherhood does by setting up networks of front groups. Both ISIS and the Brotherhood control large Muslim populations. ISIS conquers populations in failed states. The Muslim Brotherhood however exercises control over populations in the cities of the West. We could bomb Raqqa, but can we bomb Dearborn, Jersey City or Irvine?
I don't want to be the SAP shill, narciso, but the DoD and intelligence leviathan understand the grave nature of this alleged transgression. I'd say that the entrenched powers in that group, coupled with the FBI investigation and their own interests, make a formidable opponent.
A point that needs stressing; IS is not the biggest problem in the ME by a long shot and defeating it will fix nothing.
It is one of the symptomatic, regenerating hydra heads of expansionist islam.
There are two effective ways of dealing with expansionist islam;
1. Permanently level Mecca, Medina, Qom and every mosque and madrassa on earth and stamp it out root and branch. This will probably only happen when Armageddon arrives.
2. Build a real and or virtual wall around it and let its practitioners kill each other; mercilessly shooting or returning any practitioner who attempts to escape the perimeter.
No single part of islam constitutes an existential threat to the west yet, at least not one that exceeds the existential threat the west poses to itself.
But until we undertake number 2 we will continue to lose ground until we inevitably will face an existential showdown at which point number 1 will look more and more reasonable.
The grim reaper lives by the same rule the old Fram filter commercials did; you can pay me now, or pay me later.
exactly, I was focusing on Nusra Font aront, back when Islamic State was an ephemeral thing, and the Army of Conquest is much the same, it's as with 40 years ago, you had Fatah, Arafat's group and Waddi Haddad's group, tacitly we had an alli, ance with the former and opposed the latter, Carlos was with the latter, Naccoche was both organizations, and later trained Hezbollah,
It's not as though Trump has pretended to be a devout Christian, unlike Jeremiah Wright's parishioner who regularly mangles the actual meaning of scripture.
Yes. That's what gets me.
The MFM & the professional political class are gonna care about all kinds of things that they didn't give 2 hoots about with Obama.
It will be that way for whoever the Republican nominee ends up being.
An alternative scenario is that Comey requests an indictment, Loretta refuses, Hillary limps to the nomination like a wounded walrus, and loses in the general by a landslide.
Or maybe nothing will happen at all before the election? Just an "ongoing investigation."

The Herridge/Fox report about the IG letter to congress. How can Hilligula remain viable with a record like that? She sends TOP/Top Secret info on her home brew server which she set up to funnel inside info to Cronies and solicit $$$$ for her phony baloney foundation? We are no better than a Banana Republic, Chavez Venezuela, Kirshner Arg or Castro Cuba if she is politically viable. I am heartbroken.
I can't see the Dem mandarins letting a Hillary, who is unindicted only because of an anti Lynch mob at DOJ protecting her, stay in the race.
I'm not even sure I can see Barry letting Lynch not indict someone he detests with the heat of a thousand suns like Secretary SeaHag if the FBI recommends it. A man who enjoys humiliating his enemies as much as Barry would seem unlikely to save her.
If BillyJeff Tweed and HotSprings Hall have the oomph to stop such an event it would have to be at the FBI level to prevent a mortal wound to the fishwife.
JE Dyer, writing at Liberty Unyielding, has performed an excellent disection of the known knowns, the known unknowns, and perhaps the unknown unknowns regarding the small boat incident in the Persian Gulf a week ago, in her latest:
1. Cruz campaign put out a snarky statement saying endorsing Trump would hurt Palin more than Cruz.
2. Bristol Palin got on her blog and posted clips of Cruz thanking Palin for helping him get elected (she endorsed him in the Senate election)and felt like that statement was ungracious (only in Bristol-speak).
3. Now Cruz comes out with a statement that no matter what happens, he will always be grateful Palin helped him.
Graham opined that one of his fellow senators, Ted Cruz (R-Texas), would not be any better than Trump.
"He's going to get killed," Graham said. "When I think of Evangelical Christian, 'the first thing in my mind is Donald Trump.' No. When I think of problem solver, the first thing in my mind is not Ted Cruz. All I can say, I've learned one thing in 20 years, if a law is named after the president of the United States and they are still president, you are probably not going to repeal it."
"He took our party down a strange road of shutting down the government to repeal Obamacare. And those of us that thought it was a bad tactical choice, he said, you're actually for Obamacare. I'll never forget that, that is McCarthy stuff. Because you disagree how to repeal Obamacare, you're for the thing that you actually are against. I don't like that kind of politicking; they will tear him to shreds."
With apologies to any JOMer who lives in the Palmetto State, every time I see or hear this goober I'm ashamed of the people of S. Carolina. And I have relatives living there.
--I'm not sure how people who believe Palin is opportunistic, unpopular and irrelevant are disappointed by her failure to endorse Cruz.--
Concur, but I have not thought any of those things about her, although her popularity outside of the right side of the ledger, and to some extent within it, seems problematic.
I thought she had some fairly rock solid political principles considerably more in line with Cruz's than Trump's.
Maybe she made a deal with Trump this cycle. Maybe she told him she'd endorse him (and not Cruz) in the primary if Trump promised not to run third party. That was supposedly the reason for the pizza summit in '12.
SandyDaze- that intel analysis of the riverine boat route makes perfect sense to me. The Saudis are royally pissed at Obummer and are denying routine transit rights to the US Navy. As I said earlier, one of the very few Obummer 'sucesses' has been the steady destruction of the House of Saud and replacing that power vacuum with the MB/Mullahs. The House of Saud has awakened to the danger, hence executing Shia Imams and breaking off relations with the Mullahs. Obummer treats the House of Saud as a hostile power and empowers the Saudis' most dangerous enemy, why shouldn't the Saudis react in kind. It also explains the quick release of the boats, the Mullahs want their $150B and the Saudis as US enemies, so letting the boats go served their current interests

There are two effective ways of dealing with expansionist islam;

New judge who stupidly ordered us to mediation; trial rescheduled to March 15th.

exactly, I was focusing on Nusra Font aront, back when Islamic State was an ephemeral thing, and the Army of Conquest is much the same, it's as with 40 years ago, you had Fatah, Arafat's group and Waddi Haddad's group, tacitly we had an alli, ance with the former and opposed the latter, Carlos was with the latter, Naccoche was both organizations, and later trained Hezbollah,

Just an "ongoing investigation."

ananomom,
On Cipro. Something heavier in hospital. Some bacteria from somewhere. They suspect from me (GI tract issues, bladder but I have no probs there). Just as likely from the injections in the office no hospital or clinic.
All I want is to get the swelling, inflammation and pain down for rehabilitation to start.
Thanks for tip on probiotics which I take daily.

Governor Branstad came out opposing Cruz today, saying his election would be bad for Iowa and he hopes he loses.
What will be interesting is whether Branstad has more sway than Jim VanDerPlat (hope I spelled that right). Or Steve King, for that matter.
Adding Palin and you have a real mix-up.
Very interesting to watch!
Posted by: Miss Marple | January 19, 2016 at 02:11 PM
I'm not sure how people who believe Palin is opportunistic, unpopular and irrelevant are disappointed by her failure to endorse Cruz.
Maybe she's secretly trying to help Cruz by allowing Trump to be damaged by by his association with her opportunism, unpopularity, and irrelevance. ;)

Update on all the ruckus in Iowa.
So, there you go.
Last box done and time to warm up car.

Sandy Daze,
Maybe she made a deal with Trump this cycle. Maybe she told him she'd endorse him (and not Cruz) in the primary if Trump promised not to run third party. That was supposedly the reason for the pizza summit in '12.
Who knows?
Posted by: Porchlight | January 19, 2016 at 02:27 PM
