The Republicans highlighted their civility and gravitas last night. Cruz and Rubio tried a few half-hearted attacks on the substance (or notable lack thereof) of some of Trump's comments.

MM - There is *no* other Repub. candidate with unfavorable numbers like teh Trumpster's. Cruz, Rubio and Kasich are all viewed favorably by supporters of other candidates. Not so for teh Trumpster.

The story gets less clear.
In the photo Lewandowski is clearly separated from Fields by a Secret Service dude.
The WaPo guy says a dude in a suit with short cropped hair did it and then identifies they guy as Lewandowski.

If it was he had to push past the SS guy who himself was a guy in a suit with short cropped hair.
Trump says the SS guys all said they saw nothing, which considering the positions of the parties makes it highly unlikely Lewandowski could have done it.
On top of that is the report that an anonymous source claims Lewandowski admitted it to some Breitbart dude but said he didn't know she was a Breitbart reporter.
That report seems less and less credible as it is clear she knew him so how could he not know she was with Breitbart?

When I was in high school went up to dc for the closeup program for a week. Nelson Rockefeller was speaking at a ballroom in the hotel and I was in the lobby as he was leaving.

His SS detail was roughly shoving anyone in the pathway with no regard for injury. It could easily have been the SS guy intent on keeping people away from their charge. It is what they do.

And how many people get shoved, or tussled about when clamoring to get the attention of a candidate? They were even suggesting that she was asking a question that Trump didn't want to answer. She doesn't want to be part of a story yet she posts photos of her arm and goes on ABC News and her boyfriend is all over the radio railing about it with a very angry voice!

All sorts of things can be extrapolated from this such as : all of the Trump supporters are "thugs" - Trump surrounds himself with thugs, mobster types, etc. - Trump/ Lewandowski wanted to shut her up because the question was potentially damaging - probably more I haven't heard yet.
