Obama's OODA loop is in a ditch while he sucks on his slurpees.

boris

Who da ooda booga man?

GUS

I blame Bush, France and Germany. And all of the unreasonable racist, homophobic, Izzzlamopobic Republicans that I've got ridin' in the back.

Sincerely,
Dear Leader Obama.

Jack is Back!

But we lost no lives just like in Libya.

Comanche Voter

I say there, that Obama feller said Syria would be a quagmire, and Putin was making a big mistake. Doesn't Vladimir know how wise Obozo is?

Jack is Back!

At AFIT we had a whole seminar on John Boyd's theory's of air fighting. May have been the ultimate jet fighter pilot ever. His OODA loop was a condensing of his innate air fighting thinking processes.

maryrose

Once again Putin owns Obama
I can't wait for a strong republican leader to stand up for America

Theo

Okay, based on very early and partial exit poll data and some back of the envelope calculations by a non math major and a couple of trips to the Ouija Board, it is very roughly estimated that Trump will get about 42-43% of the votes cast in today's Republican primaries.

That would be a good day for him if it is true, but (a) this is not anything close to a done deal, (b) a lot depends on how the votes are distributed (and the very preliminary sense is that he will do very well in Florida, so a lot of those votes are "wasted" in terms of delegates) and (c) it is not enough to declare himself the majority candidate.

Stay tuned, of course.

Miss Marple

Theo,

There have been no exit poll data excep things like per cent of late decides. We do not know how many late decides there were.

Don't know where you got this information, but ouija board sounds about right.

Polls are not closed yet.

jimmyk

From the last thread, TM quoting Shadi Hamid (whoever that might be):

On October 2, 2002, Barack Obama gave a speech opposing war in Iraq—perhaps, in retrospect, the most important speech he ever gave. He was right, of course, and the foreign-policy establishment was largely wrong.

Seems like in 2011 he made damn sure he was right by turning success into failure. Now Putin shows again that Barry is irrelevant.

Theo

MM --

All very true. There is SOME exit poll data (and of course it is early) and some guesstimates can be made from this data. For example, I have seen exit poll data about the % of voters who would be "satisfied" if Trump were the nominee versus the % that would "seriously consider" supporting a third party.

Way too soon to tell of course. But the preliminary indications are that it could be a good night for The Donald.

Buckeye

Theo, keep polishing that crystal ball. Sooner or later you will get the answer you want;)

This One Strange Fact About Donald Trump Disqualifies Him From the Presidency

http://freebeacon.com/blog/only-garbage-people-order-steaks-well-done/

"Guess how Donald Trump eats his steaks?

Few people here can anticipate Mr. Trump’s demands and desires better than Mr. Senecal, 74, who has worked at the property for nearly 60 years, and for Mr. Trump for nearly 30 of them.

He understands Mr. Trump’s sleeping patterns and how he likes his steak (“It would rock on the plate, it was so well done”), and how Mr. Trump insists — despite the hair salon on the premises — on doing his own hair.

What a horrible man.

On the bright side, I’m pretty sure this disqualifies Donald Trump from the presidency. Check the Constitution. The Federalist Papers are quite clear on this point, if I remember correctly. Publius goes on—at length—about this somewhere near the back of Federalist 86."

Theo

Buckeye ==

As you surely know, a "good night for Trump" is NOT the answer that I want.

But just trying to tease something out of the very limited data that we do have, I think that it could well be a good night for Trump.

Stay tuned of course.

boris

Trump and Cruz are the anti-establishment candidates.

In a 2 man race against Roob or Kaystick most Cruz supporters would go to Trump. Winner winner chicken dinner.

In a 2 man race against Cruz, where would the establishment voters go?

Seems to me between Cruz and Trump they would pick the wild card deal maker all over the map Trump over the rock ribbed steel spine Cruz and Fiorina pair. Again Trump takes home the chicken dinner.

So the notion that trump only has 40% of the voters in any 2 man contest is ... well ... stupid questionable.

hrtshpdbox

What a horrible man.

I wouldn't say that someone who orders their steaks well-done is necessarily horrible, but they sure must not like the taste of steak very much.

hrtshpdbox

In a 2 man race against Roob or Kaystick most Cruz supporters would go to Trump.

I doubt that's true. For many, I'm sure, Cruz is the most conservative candidate that they think can win the general election.

Miss Marple

I order my steaks well done.

I grew up on a fam and near feed lot country. My whole family eats them that way.

hrtshpdbox

I eat my steaks medium rare. If I don't trust the chef to know what that means, I'll order it "between rare and medium rare". Anything past medium rare is tasteless shoe leather, as far as I'm concerned.

daddy on iPad

Haven't started catch up yet and probably won't😎, but I think KT McFarlands quick take I transcribed on Putin's Syrian pullout the other day were good.

Hopefully President Trump sends Putin's current squeeze a designer dress and an expensive Vodka, instead of another dick-upped Reset Button.

hrtshpdbox

Ah, forget it, I meant plenty of Canadians. Dumb joke anyway.

Sue

Simply out of curiosity, do you think Cruz isn't an American or just isn't eligible for predident?

JeanD

My maternal grandfather insisted on having his beef cooked well done, and my grandmother obliged. She also boiled the life out of every vegetable that crossed her path.

Thus, my mother began her married life as that kind of cook.

It took years for my dad to convert my mom to thinking it was okay not to cook the carp out of everything.

So, maybe we can forgive Trump for this transgression?

JeanD

Oh, and HB, Porch!

hrtshpdbox

I'll guess that DT wins FL by at least 10 points, that Marco Rubio barely beats Jeb Bush in Florida, that DT also wins NC, that Kasich wins Ohio, and that Cruz wins Illinois and Missouri. Therefore, since NC is proportional, Cruz will win more delegates that DT, and that's tomorrow's GOP headline. The Dem headline is "Bernie Shocks Hillary Again!".

Threadkiller

I am positive he isn't eligible and I lean towards him being a US citizen.

He has gone the Obama route and sealed his records.

I have voted in many Presidential primary's. Today was the busiest I have ever seen..We do not have the population to have the long lines since this is 100% rural..just busy.

Signage all Cruz..no Trump. No Hil or Bern.

I agree that if Cruz drops out the vote will all go to Trump..it will be interesting to see what Hil and Bern do in the show me state..

Looks like effectively a government shutdown in DC tomorrow because the entire Metro is shutting down at midnight for 24 hours. I sure hope they manage to put barricades up around the memorials.

If Trump likes his steaks well done, it would make sense why his "Trump Steaks" Business went broke.

And if the Donald was really sharp he'd dump whoever he's married to now and marry Tereza "Heinz Katsup" Kerry.

Merge the 2 billionaires bank accounts, and since half the South already puts Catsup on their steak, what's not to like?

jimmyk

Sue, apparently it's technical, not terror. There was an electrical fire Monday morning (one fatality), and they're concerned about the safety of the system. Who'da thunk the government couldn't run a subway system competently?

James D.

We agree!

Actually, I'd go farther than you. My preference is somewhere between "walk it by the stove on the way to the table" and rare.

Sue asked politely and I answered in kind.

The terrorists don't need to bother. The folks who run Metro are quite good at killing civilians (and their own employees) without any help.

GUS

Porchlight! No way, the GOVERNMENT is on top of things. And btw, the CIA isn't a spy agency anymore, so we've got that going for us.

Medium rare. She who must be obeyed goes for rare to still mooing. I've become quite talented at getting my Webber to perform to individual specs. Sue asked the obvious question brought on by your rather bizarre post suggesting that Cruz is not an American. She asked it politely, of course; however the clear implication, to anyone not out of their gourd, was "Surely you aren't suggesting...?" You one-upped yourself by not only doubting his citizenship, but adding the claim that Cruz had "sealed his records." You need a new hobby, and/or professional help.

DrJ

Regarding steaks, one thing I have learned is that what "rare," "medium rare" and so forth means varies a great deal from establishment to establishment.

I went to a great steakhouse in the Minneapolis area, and to them, "rare" meant brown/charred on the outside, and cold on the inside. That's a bit too much for me (though I love tartar!).

So I go with rare/medium rare depending on local convention. And only pepper and no other topping, thank you! (Ketsup: brrrrrr!)

maryd

LOL gus !

Please don't tell me you put ketchup on a hot dog!

Wrong? Was it wrong when the Marines put Catsup on Pork Chop Hill?

My mom has been gone for nearly 15 years now, but I think The Donald would have liked her steaks. They might as well have been napalmed, because they were sure crispy critters. And just to help out the veggies had been boiled until a inch beyond their life span.

I loved my mom--but I'll take my wife's cooking any day.
