Ted Cruz is having a night, with wins in Maine and Kansas and a scuffle in Kentucky. Louisiana is yet to report.
Do note that Cruz may be picking up Ben Carson's voters looking for a non-Trump anti-establishment candidate with Evangelical appeal. Maybe.

Trump up 12 with 26% in in Kentucky - up 42-30.
But Louisville and Lexington can change everything.
Also so far - the eastern counties have disproportionately reported. Those are more the coal country/Trump counties.
Race should tighten. But at this point I'd bet on Trump for the win.
OH AND BY THE WAY: Ben Carson has over twice as many votes as Rand Paul.

The counties reporting so far represent about 18 percent of Kentucky’s population, rather than 26 percent.

Jane,
My take is that when Mitt come out last week demanding that Trump release his Taxes, because Mitt had heard "bad rumors" about them, it was so reminiscent of Harry Reid's slimy performance on the Senate Floor when it was done against Romney, that it came across as gross hypocrisy from Romney and put a very bad taste in peoples mouths about him, so that people were already primed and ready to angrily tell Mitt to "STFU loser and go to Hell" when he followed that hypocrisy with the Anti-Trump speech. I think people's anger in this case is justified. I know that's my co-worker's take.

That's another majority delegate state for Cruz for the purposes of Rule 40. His third such state.

I got to know Mitt just a sliver during the last election. I liked him and he was a fine man. Unfortunately, I must now add another thing I know about him. He's a hypocrite. Ouch, hurts to type it.
Dennis Miller

All right, all right, I get it. Our side canibalizes itself and Hillary wins. Now if you still want to destroy Trump for shits and giggles, have at it, you ass-kissing RNC morons. Hey, hows about this? Why not let everyone who meets the criteria run then count their votes. If they have the most votes you run them against the other side.

It's one or the other.
I know we have suspected that the political class is a closed club out for their own interests, but it is sickening to watch.

The Hill:Sen. Bernie Sanders has been projected to win the Nebraska caucuses, according to news outlets.
With 75 percent of the vote in, the Nebraska Democratic Party reported that Sanders held 54 percent of the vote.
While there are only 25 pledged delegates up for grabs in the state, it adds an important win to Sanders’s victory column as he seeks to regain momentum in the fight against Clinton.

Here's Tom Tancredo's take on Mittpocrisy. Mitt Romney’s Gift to Hillary Must be Condemned
Romney’s arrogance in trying to stop a horserace at the half-mile pole was exceeded only by his nastiness, as if he were a prosecutor reading an indictment.
Romney could have endorsed a candidate and pledged his help to that candidate. That would be honorable and even admirable from a civic point of view. But instead, he chose to throw a stink bomb, like a selfish, angry teenager who wasn’t invited to a birthday party.
Similar to Dennis Miller's take.

Trump in his live victory speech is telling Rubio to drop out now and saying that he would love to take on Ted Cruz one on one.
Now he's joking about having weathered so many nasty and well funded attack ads. And now he's stressing how many new voters are turning out in the Primary Elections as compared to previous Primaries and how that is the good news that we ought to take away from tonights and the other Primaries.
He's coming across measured, thoughtful, and optimistic, and making valid criticisms of the GOPe Establishments errors. I think his supporters will be reenergized by what he's saying tonight. Now he's doing some quality Hillary bashing, criticizing her new Campaign motto of "Make America Whole" as ridiculous and inferior to his "Make America Great Again!" motto
And now he calls the Press "dishonest" to big applause and asks to take questions from them.
On to Florida!

The high tone of his speech is not being maintained during the shouted Reporter questions:
Currently a reporter is asking Trump doesn't he have a responsibility to control the people who come to his rally's? Trump does decent attack dog replies as the reporter asks the same question over and over again, so Trump reminds the crowd that Bernie had 2 protesters come up on stage and take his microphone away, so why is the Reporter only attacking Trump for supposedly bad people at Trump rallies.
Now the same reporter is asking Trump about talking about the size of his manhood---the crowd boos and Trump criticizes the reporter for bringing up the topic. The crowd cheers. Trump blames Rubio for bringing up the topic. Trump replies he is strong and has big hands and can hit a golfball 280 yards---then moves on.
Now he is answering questions on Water Boarding comments, and he is explaining how ISIS plays with different rules than we do and we're foolish to tie our hands behind out back when dealing with the viscousness of ISIS.
Anyone else watching this?
