Or is cuffed. Either way. The Bernie Spring continues as bit longer, as hopeful lefties bash Hillary. This is Salon:
Hillary’s primary success is a sham: Bernie Sanders will remain the true Democratic front-runner until the FBI finishes its Investigation
It's not over until the FBI clears Hillary Clinton— which it absolutely shouldn't
The FBI won't clear her but the Justice Department won't indict her either. I back the CW, which predicts that top FBI officials resign in protest.
Where is the Conventional Wisdom about resignations to be found? What about Comey recommending to Lynch a Special Counsel be appointed to present to a Grand Jury?

Posted by: henry | April 22, 2016 at 04:51 PM
If this hasn't been quashed by now, The Hill is in a bit of trouble. I wonder whether Team Hill and Team Val are working together to try to quash this.
In any event, I retain hope that The Hill's lawyers are at this very moment negotiating the pardon/drop out of the race deal with DOJ and Team Val (but I repeat myself).
If The Hill goes down, Comrade's cultists are going to be really ticked off when the Dem pooh-bahs try to engineer the Comrade out of the top spot and install Joe Biden as Chairman of Presidium.

I go with TM. If there was going to be a clean slate, the FBI would have cleared her weeks ago. Wouldn't be to me at all.

Current $19T? Le Donald says "And you can do it in refinancings"... hmmm... theoretically sure, but almost all of the $19 has already been refinanced at virtually $0% , so refinancing it will likely cost more %. I assume Jack Lew's weenies have planned that the $21T DEBT they leave behind will never bee redeemed, and instead the Treasury will ride those Bonds to maturity so that the % is a fixed part of the annual budget. New debt? that will be at a higher %rate, so ADDITIONAL borrowing costs will be prohibitively expensive. This is the fundamental component of OPM Famine. Tax base shrinks, borrowing ability dries up, interest payments eat up bigger and bigger part of budget. BOOM... OPM is gone.

Back in the middle 70's I worked on a team that built a robot with an ultrasonic sensor for inspecting reactor vessel welds. B & W was the client. Took 2 tractor trailers to move it. Electronics were packaged in 13 enclosures the size of Subzero refrigerators. High tech then, probably less compute power than my phone today.
My best buddy and co-worker got the "honor" of running this beast. They would take the lid off the reactor and bolt the robot on top. Run the sensor around and collect data.
He obviously had to suit up and wear the dosimeter tags. Got relieved of the responsibilty after a few trips because he had reached the limits.
I never volunteered;)
Your comment about Piketon reminded my of that experience.

Ignatz --
Young man, I apologize for the fact that TM keeps adding new threads before I can respond to your posts on the old ones.
To review, I asked if you were serious with the suggestion that every registered Democrat should be sent to re education camp in Alaska and put in deadly peril of ever seeing home again. Your answer included the following:
"I of course do not think a gulag on our side of the Bering Sea will be literally necessary but we may very well need a violent revolution to save the nation."
My first reaction is that your suggestion that the Democrats could prevent a revolution if they abandoned their current beliefs is that that is simply not going to happen. Progs are going to be progs and will not return to some past era when their views were more acceptable to us.
My second reaction is that I do not think that the conditions are right for a violent revolution. Too many people today have a continued faith in the electoral process to take up arms. I understand that you do not share that faith, but at this point a call to arms would cause most people to shun anyone who advocated such a thing.
My third reaction is to question why you think that if it came to a contest of arms that our side would win? Armed conflicts are generally won by the side with youth and vigor. People under 30, the prime age for actual warriors, vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. Conservatives do best among older demographics. Presumably if things advanced to armed conflict we would find ourselves seriously outnumbered among those with the vigor for armed conflict.
