Go for the gunz, Cankles. Please. And thanks to Porch for that video last thread. Very touching although the dude checking out Kevin's clothing labels was a little weird.

Speaking of shotguns, it was ten yrs ago that we stopped in Polson MT at the southern edge of Flathead lake. There was an old timer there that tuned up at lot of world and Olympic champions. We had heard of him, because he knew how to fit women shooters. It took nearly a half day to get a dummy stock duct taped with pads and blocks until it fit Mrs MT. The reason I remember the timing was that we headed to Phx afterward for our first Horowitz gathering and I instigated a sporting clays outing to try out the newly fitted guns. And that's when we got to hang with Tammy and her gal pal, as well as become friends with Dick Schulze, the retired Congresscritter from Philly. (His wife, Nancy joined us at the 9/12 march.)
The video is called "Die Whitey Die," but it isn't about race. It's about a man named Kevin in a town called Garbutt, NY, the type of community that elites like Kevin Williamson believe should die off.
NBA kumishunur Unipotty ought to be more involved with keeping the power on in the Memphis arena during playoffs than meddling in North Carolina politics.
Ah, thanks, Boris. It works for me on my Kindle browser. I copied it directly from the video, but it must be the # that's screwing it up. Sorry about that.
The young guy that ran the gun shop lived up around Kalispell and commuted down the west side in the morning and the east side in the evening so he always had the light reflecting across the lake. Great commute.
Oh, that Garbutt, NY, America is the America our resident trolls want Cruz and the GOPe to keep alive or die off like Williamson.
Where did his Government Motors job go? Wasnit GM bailed out by the DC elite in order for what? Certainly no for the Delphi bond holders but to keep the union jobs and the wages status quo. So what happened to Kevin's job and where is it now? Mexico, Canada, China?
And you could tell from the way he was dressed that the Garment District in NYC is nothing more than a bunch of open rooms with people opening boxes of shoes and clothes from Asia. No more sewing shops downtown anymore unless you want your pants shortened.

But the silence at the end on THE QUESTION was more than golden it was music to Trump's ears. Wonder if he will find a way to use this vid?
I think he could almost just play it *as is* and it would be a powerful commercial. This nice guy - lost his job but didn't give up - went back to get a nursing degree (which is not an easy degree) - supported his son as a single dad - apparently instilled in his son a love of his country - THIS is a Trump supporter!
There are *thousands* just like him. They are not stupid or dangerous or full of hate or any of the other things that have been implied and actually stated.
Well, will wonders never cease: Caps tried like hell to stay home from the second round of the playoffs but beat the detested Flyers today 1-0. Hard to believe they are finally moving on from the first round where they usually just give it away.
The troll and those like him continue to paint the Kevins of the world as ignorant dupes. Despite reality being pointed out to them endless times, such as in today's Pieces, they still don't get it.
I was at game 5 on Friday, and after they lost that one (despite outshooting the flyers 44-11, for heaven's sake!) I was convinced they were going to lose the series.
So I'm pleasantly surprised they pulled it out today. Could it be possible they really are a different team than in the past?
I think he might have entered into this simply to show the GOP a different way of campaigning and to bring up some issues that were being ignored. The trade deals particularly gall him.
Along the way, he met with unexpected success and suddenly found himself the front-runner. And the GOPe, instead of listening to him and trying to understand why they are despised by so many, mocked him, and then attacked him.
And then as if that weren't bad enough, they attacked his supporters as well. And the trolls, taking their cue from the GOPe, continue this program of mocking and insulting. The fish stinks from the head, as they say.
I realize most people here don't agree with me, but I honestly believe Trump will win the general. He is drawing supporters from non-traditional sources. I don't care what these match-up polls show, as we are way too far out for them to be accurate, plus the GOPe has spent tons of money attacking their own front-runner, which is idiotic.
I got a call from the Trump campaign a few days ago. I am on no Trump list, so they must be working off either voting records or donation records they got from the RNC. I have received no calls from Cruz or Kasich people. A friend of mine called me yesterday to tell her that 20-somethings were in her neighborhoods knocking on doors for Trump. He obviously has a ground game in Indiana.
Re the 20 ga, haven't run through enough shells to say. I'd guess it costs me 3 birds per round, but that is probably more my native instinct to aim instead of point.
You are a troll. You don't reveal yourself. You are rhetorical only and you never state what you believe in but only insult those that believe in something that is not whatever it is you believe in. Give it a break. All you do here is make yourself a true pest.

Miss M,
That's my take on Trump as well. His candidacy is a work in progress.
Believe it or not Kasich has a chance to win the nomination on the second or third ballot.
He is not mentally ill as MM states
I am sure MM has met Kasich and thinks she knows him to make that statement.
The smug ones in my opinion seem to be Manafort who appears to think the primary is over.
There is also an article on Mitch McConnell believing the voting at the convention will go beyond the first ballot.
We know what happens to Trump if that happens
As Yogi Berra said so eloquently" It ain't over until it is over"
“People are unsettled by globalisation,” he said. “People visibly see a plant moving and jobs lost and the narrative develops that this is weakening rather than strengthening the position of ordinary people and ordinary workers.”
Let's see, the plant closes and I am out of a job. I guess I am just a stupid rube for thinking that this weakening my position as an ordinary worker.
We've got the Rabbit Creek Shooting range about 3 miles as the crow flies from the house. When the wind is right I can hear the 'pop, pop, pop.'
Used to work at the Ft Leavenworth Sheet Club as a 13-14 year old, reloading shells, reloading the clay discs in the skeet and trap machines, and pressing the buttons when the patrons barked "Pull." Great job for a kid.
new lurker:
Let me correct you.
My candidate who I voted for in Ohio was Cruz
I am now also helping Kasich as most see him as a moderate choice
Those in favor of Trump do not seem to want a true conservative but think he is the candidate that can win
We shall see in time who prevails.
I find the arrogance of Trump and Manafort to be distasteful.
And you think Trump is going to stop plants from moving?
The only way to stop that is a return to the Constitution. When have you ever heard Trump talk about the Constitution, small government and over regulation.
Come on, Manafort is not going to say that Trump is going to lose. Trump is the frontrunner and the only candidate left with a chance on the first ballot. Cruz is mathematically eliminated on the first ballot but still assuring everyone that victory is in sight. Kasich only has a chance if the GOPe tries a deus ex machina move. Talking about winning is what candidates and their people do.
I do not understand why maryrose is making calls for Kasich if she supports Cruz.
If Trump doesn't win on the first ballot, the guy with the most second choice votes right now is Cruz. So, if you support Cruz, then Kasich is a roadblock to his nomination on the second ballot.
So at the Convention do you guys think they should pick Romney to top the ticket with John McCain as his VP, or John McCain to top the ticket with Romney as his VP?
I am going with JEB! and Pataki as the final ticket. All governors and perfect entitled white guys for the nomination. Only problem is that JEB! speaks very good Spanish and that could be a problem if we don't want the Hispanic vote.
"Maverick and the Mormon" rolls off the tongue funner than "Mitt-McCain", especially since it sounds like a Bert Reynolds movie title, so I'm all in for Johnny Mac in the top slot with Mitt as dash-2, but I'm open to hearing your contemptuously ignorant opposing opinions.
"hurts the poor more" IMO, all Democrat actions are designed to do that.
"Obama’s Global Warming Plan Cost Poor Americans $44 Billion, Raises Taxes By 166%" Makes Madoff look like a kid playing marbles. Madoff is in jail for life. The Democrats are promoting a complete fraud, IMO.
But their worse fraud is the abortion racket. Killing children just be cause they are inconvenient, IMO.
I wonder if TBT can find us over here.

Given the Democrats’ dismal record when they run on an anti-gun platform, it is hard to believe that Hillary Clinton wants to make gun control her signature issue. Nevertheless, that appears to be the case.

I think he might have entered into this simply to show the GOP a different way of campaigning and to bring up some issues that were being ignored. The trade deals particularly gall him.
Along the way, he met with unexpected success and suddenly found himself the front-runner...
Miss M,
That's my take on Trump as well. His candidacy is a work in progress.

Captain Hate and Buckeye! Your governor is mentally ill!
True MM, but luckily he doesn't hang around these parts much anymore;)
Posted by: Buckeye | April 24, 2016 at 06:13 PM
daddy, I think maryrose likes Kasich and is making calls for him.
Posted by: newlurker | April 24, 2016 at 06:16 PM
Believe it or not Kasich has a chance to win the nomination on the second or third ballot.
He is not mentally ill as MM states
I am sure MM has met Kasich and thinks she knows him to make that statement.
The smug ones in my opinion seem to be Manafort who appears to think the primary is over.
There is also an article on Mitch McConnell believing the voting at the convention will go beyond the first ballot.
We know what happens to Trump if that happens
As Yogi Berra said so eloquently" It ain't over until it is over"

Here's my favorite quote:
“People are unsettled by globalisation,” he said. “People visibly see a plant moving and jobs lost and the narrative develops that this is weakening rather than strengthening the position of ordinary people and ordinary workers.”
Let's see, the plant closes and I am out of a job. I guess I am just a stupid rube for thinking that this weakening my position as an ordinary worker.
What a guy!

Trump's "candidacy" is a work of progressivism

We've got the Rabbit Creek Shooting range about 3 miles as the crow flies from the house. When the wind is right I can hear the 'pop, pop, pop.'
Used to work at the Ft Leavenworth Sheet Club as a 13-14 year old, reloading shells, reloading the clay discs in the skeet and trap machines, and pressing the buttons when the patrons barked "Pull." Great job for a kid.

OFGS maryrose!
The guy won ONE state. He has only a few delegates.
Yet he is announcing that he is vetting VP candidates.
I don't need to know his interior thoughts to know that this is delusional behavior.
Either that or he has a plot to take over the convention, which I find reprehensible.

Posted by: maryrose | April 24, 2016 at 06:21 PM
maryrose,
You don't find Cruz to be arrogant?
Posted by: Miss Marple 2 | April 24, 2016 at 06:22 PM
MM
Neither you nor I know how the convention will go beyond the first ballot.
If past is prologue Kasich may end up being the consensus candidate.
Posted by: maryrose | April 24, 2016 at 06:23 PM
MM
And you think Trump is going to stop plants from moving?
The only way to stop that is a return to the Constitution. When have you ever heard Trump talk about the Constitution, small government and over regulation.
Posted by: Truthbetold | April 24, 2016 at 06:23 PM
Well maryrose, I have met JohnnyCakes, and I think he is a bit odd.
I know you have worked with him and like him, and that's OK with me.
Posted by: Buckeye | April 24, 2016 at 06:24 PM
Come on, Manafort is not going to say that Trump is going to lose. Trump is the frontrunner and the only candidate left with a chance on the first ballot. Cruz is mathematically eliminated on the first ballot but still assuring everyone that victory is in sight. Kasich only has a chance if the GOPe tries a deus ex machina move. Talking about winning is what candidates and their people do.

Thx Newlurker. I did not know Maryrose was a Kasich fan. I thought she supported my guy, Ted Cruz.
Oh well. See what happens when I take a couple weeks off. I come back to find everybody's jabbering all over again with a vicious idiot.
Posted by: daddy | April 24, 2016 at 06:26 PM
Thanks Maryrose. I thought you were a Cruz guy from way back. Good to know I'm not completely bonkers.
Posted by: daddy | April 24, 2016 at 06:30 PM
I do not understand why maryrose is making calls for Kasich if she supports Cruz.
If Trump doesn't win on the first ballot, the guy with the most second choice votes right now is Cruz. So, if you support Cruz, then Kasich is a roadblock to his nomination on the second ballot.
So I do not understand calls for Kasich.

So at the Convention do you guys think they should pick Romney to top the ticket with John McCain as his VP, or John McCain to top the ticket with Romney as his VP?
Posted by: daddy | April 24, 2016 at 06:33 PM
daddy,
I am truly disgusted with all of them, even my guy who should do a better job of presenting his case.
By the time the convention rolls around, my give-a-damn meter might be busted.
Posted by: Miss Marple 2 | April 24, 2016 at 06:35 PM
MM
Your guy has no principles. He has presented that clearly.
You just refuse to see it..
Posted by: Truthbetold | April 24, 2016 at 06:38 PM
daddy,
I am going with JEB! and Pataki as the final ticket.
