Speaking of shotguns, it was ten yrs ago that we stopped in Polson MT at the southern edge of Flathead lake. There was an old timer there that tuned up at lot of world and Olympic champions. We had heard of him, because he knew how to fit women shooters. It took nearly a half day to get a dummy stock duct taped with pads and blocks until it fit Mrs MT. The reason I remember the timing was that we headed to Phx afterward for our first Horowitz gathering and I instigated a sporting clays outing to try out the newly fitted guns. And that's when we got to hang with Tammy and her gal pal, as well as become friends with Dick Schulze, the retired Congresscritter from Philly. (His wife, Nancy joined us at the 9/12 march.)

I think he could almost just play it *as is* and it would be a powerful commercial. This nice guy - lost his job but didn't give up - went back to get a nursing degree (which is not an easy degree) - supported his son as a single dad - apparently instilled in his son a love of his country - THIS is a Trump supporter!

Well, I do not think Trump is a con.

I think he might have entered into this simply to show the GOP a different way of campaigning and to bring up some issues that were being ignored. The trade deals particularly gall him.

Along the way, he met with unexpected success and suddenly found himself the front-runner. And the GOPe, instead of listening to him and trying to understand why they are despised by so many, mocked him, and then attacked him.

And then as if that weren't bad enough, they attacked his supporters as well. And the trolls, taking their cue from the GOPe, continue this program of mocking and insulting. The fish stinks from the head, as they say.

I realize most people here don't agree with me, but I honestly believe Trump will win the general. He is drawing supporters from non-traditional sources. I don't care what these match-up polls show, as we are way too far out for them to be accurate, plus the GOPe has spent tons of money attacking their own front-runner, which is idiotic.

I got a call from the Trump campaign a few days ago. I am on no Trump list, so they must be working off either voting records or donation records they got from the RNC. I have received no calls from Cruz or Kasich people. A friend of mine called me yesterday to tell her that 20-somethings were in her neighborhoods knocking on doors for Trump. He obviously has a ground game in Indiana.

I am sticking with him. That's all I have to say.

Come on, Manafort is not going to say that Trump is going to lose. Trump is the frontrunner and the only candidate left with a chance on the first ballot. Cruz is mathematically eliminated on the first ballot but still assuring everyone that victory is in sight. Kasich only has a chance if the GOPe tries a deus ex machina move. Talking about winning is what candidates and their people do.

If Trump doesn't win on the first ballot, the guy with the most second choice votes right now is Cruz. So, if you support Cruz, then Kasich is a roadblock to his nomination on the second ballot.
