Tell me what is worse being called Lucifer or a sociopath?
I thought the sociopath accusation was way out of line but for whatever reason Ben Carson chose to overlook it and endorse Trump. Boehner was surely sloshed when he made those stupid comments about Cruz who I assume is still very upset by it.
To that I would add a couple who are friends, a hospital administrator and a retired biochemist, both of whom backed him early and thought he would be the nominee.
I spent a good part of the day at the bar mitzvah of friends' twin sons. They were born at 6 months gestation 13 years ago, both weighed around 2 lbs., spent 6-8 weeks in the NICU. Now they're strapping 13-year-olds, great kids, not 100% without learning issues, but there was hardly a dry eye in the house.
Then I played 2 hours of singles tennis with my regular partner who's 15 years my junior. (We split two sets.) Now we're off to the bar mitzvah party in Greenwich Village.
Clarice, I remember when my grandmother was losing it in the 1980s, and we'd visit her and she'd talk about how President Reagan had visited her. Funny and sad at the same time. Now my dad is 94 and his short-term memory is almost non-existent, but he's still pretty grounded. We're lucky to have parents still around.
How long before the stupid injun Warren figures out it is a zero sum game to go twitter to twitter with The Donald?
Have you ever heard her talk? Like the Searchlight Creep's weird sister. I think it's a safe bet that she doesn't surround herself with people likely to push back against Princess Vaginitis doing whatever her empty head dictates.
Four years ago JMH helped me come to grips with the nomination of the author of RombleyCare by pointing out that a conservative GOP congress would take the edges off his squishy tendencies. In retrospect that maybe shouldn't have been so effective, although God knows how such a different dynamic would've played out, but it was very effective then.

I thought from the get go that Trump's trash talking would mark the best chance for the GOP to make inroads into the black vote. This isn't your father's Oldsmobile.
Buckeye this is so foreign to the GOPe finishing schools that it would've never happened otherwise. They can complain about how coarse it is and how this degrades the whole process while getting their clocks cleaned. The real question is do you want to win.
Poor Linda Tripp--she did the right thing but because she's what the 19th c. called plain, she had no chance in the wider public. And she was laser-prosecuted to boot.
Somebody should have gone to jail for leaking Tripp's personnel records. The eunuchs representing us have never understood that which is why they're looking up at Trump. I'm sorry this offends some of the commenters here but I'm tired of losing and putting up another tomato can is not the way to change that. In fact it adheres to Einstein's definition of insanity.
I love to read maryrose' posts. She always holds firm to her positions, never resorts to name calling, just keeps on keeping on with what she believes. We should all try to be a little more like that.

Since name calling doesn't count when the name called can handle it, I have been pardoned.

Buckeye this is so foreign to the GOPe finishing schools that it would've never happened otherwise. They can complain about how coarse it is and how this degrades the whole process while getting their clocks cleaned. The real question is do you want to win.

Any time the libs claim to support whistle blowers, it's only the ones doing what they like. Ask Linda Tripp.

Not many people have seen or heard a spread fret guitar. Optimized for certain alternate tunings.
This is a really sweet fingerstyle duet.
Glad to see Don taking this young kid under his wing.

Then you must be head over heels for me!
😍
Since name calling doesn't count when the name called can handle it, I have been pardoned.

I admire Maryrose, she is an optimist.
