buccaneer morgan

So the second highest official in the navy couldn't be bothered because he was attending foreign dignitaries, the rigmarole about not intervening was ludicrous, as I've pointed out before, re the Scott mcewen book.

Captain Hate

Another nothingburger from the great Trey Gowdy.

Captain Hate

Like everything else the GOPe quislings do, it's leaked through Politico.

henry

So CH, think another couple years and the Gowdy Committee will come up with a strongly worded letter?

buccaneer morgan

Its carp my series of post back in the fall of 2012 and the spring of the following year, rendered my useful information

Beasts of England

Y'all are so cynical. Did you not read the headlines? The report 'sheds new light on Benghazi'. New light!! This is devastating for Clinton. New light!!

Captain Hate

Amazing that Trump won a single primary...

Threadkiller

Kerry got "Swiftboated."

Clinton is getting "Slowboated."

buccaneer morgan

The treehouse pointed out why this was going to be a nothingberger, gowdy authorized the underlying operation.

jimmyk

What I get from the story is that when you have a lady SoS, a lot of time is wasted deciding what soldiers should wear.

But the report states conflicting orders from State Department and Pentagon officials over whether Marines should wear military uniforms or civilian attire also played a role....

According to one commander, the report states, as forces prepared to deploy, "during the course of three hours, he and his Marines changed in and out of their uniforms four times."

henry

Clinton is getting "Slowboated."

Is that a new thing from Epstein's Island?

Oh... other Clinton.

buccaneer morgan

Isn't it, well its par for the course for twenty years of investigations against the razorback, clinger through howdy, fiske through inspector dreyfus

Old Lurker

Trey Gowdy would make a nice hood ornament as the GOPe limo goes over the Brexit cliff.

Beasts of England

His pointy haircut is very aerodynamic, OL. :)

Captain Hate

Levin teed off on this black robed tyrant last night. You can't spell POS without Posner:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jun/27/richard-posner-no-value-in-studying-us-constitutio/

Old Lurker

Beasts, I'm thinking the RR Spirit of Ecstasy flying woman with her arms back looks just like Trey, don't you?

jimmyk

And these new e-mails released ought to put Hillary out of the race (and into prison). Clearly a bunch of the e-mails that were deleted and not turned over to the investigation were not purely personal (big surprise). What's clear is that Hillary was only concerned with the security of her "personal" e-mails, not with national security.

The audit also cited a then-unreleased copy of a November 2010 email Clinton sent Abedin in which the secretary discussed using a government email account, expressing concern that she didn't want "any risk of the personal being accessible."

Threadkiller

I enjoyed your article on McDonnell, clarice.

Of course my take away is it perfectly explains why SCOTUS refuses to weigh in on poorly decided birther cases.

jimmyk

Sorry, that quote was from this story:

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/clinton-emails-released-including-deleted-40168595

Beasts of England

Ha!! He provides the same utility, too, OL - none.

Threadkiller

He doesn't even rate the Screaming Chicken decal, OL.

Captain Hate

Did Gumshoe Gowdy uncover any info about Huma's MB siblings being problematic from a national security standpoint?

Old Lurker

Well after the Highway Safety police made RR mount her on a spring swivel so she could not harm a pedestrian, the similarity became irresistible.

Miss Marple 2

Gowdy is just another example of how fancy talking is not really an accomplishment.

I want someone who will DO something.

buccaneer morgan

It doesn't matter how many citiesBurn, veterans perish waiting for treatment, minds maimed by mind arson

Old Lurker

Like Paul Ryan, MM, both sides in DC have come to think that those fiery speeches they give to CSpan and an empty chamber are the same thing as doing something.

Femall.

Janet

The JOM threads right after the Benghazi siege pointed out most of this info already.

On an anniversary of 9-11 why weren't all our military assets on alert & ready to go? I'm not in the military & I would have ordered THAT.

It really is sickening to think we abandoned our people. NO help at all. Even after the siege was over a Libyan transport plane came for the survivors.

It is disgraceful.

Miss Marple 2

OL,

So true.

Worse, the press seems to think the speech is a substitute for action as well, and so do many in the GOP.

Myself, I would like to see someone run a couple of bulldozers right through the State Department building.

Ted Cruz and John Kasich have a message for Donald J. Trump: They don’t care if they are not invited to speak at his convention.

As Mr. Trump tries to plan a convention that will run as smoothly as possible, he said in an interview with The New York Times last week that he would not invite either Mr. Cruz or Mr. Kasich, both former rivals for the Republican presidential nomination, to speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland unless they endorsed him.

That is fine, both said on Monday. A spokeswoman for Mr. Cruz, Catherine Frazier, said the Texas senator did not have any expectation about receiving a speaking slot. A spokesman for Mr. Kasich, the governor of Ohio, was similarly indifferent...

...Mr. Kasich’s spokesman said the governor plans to be “in and around” Cleveland that week. But he has no plans to be involved in anything that has to do with Mr. Trump.

Gentlejim

TK,
I think it's safe to say she hasn't been "motorboated" expect maybe by Huma.

Old Lurker

But doncha worry, Fox News is all over the story.

Lucianne:

"House committee report investigating Benghazi attack faults Obama administration's response
The Republican-led House committee investigating the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi terrorist attack -- in which four American diplomatic staff were killed -- finds fault with the Obama administration's response, blaming a 'rusty bureaucratic process' that focused on crafting a public response to the attack rather than actually taking action to resolve the crisis. (FoxNews)"

Miss Marple 2

Personally, I don't want to see either of them on the stage.

Let's see someone who can talk to people without either inferring they aren't going to Heaven or don't understand the Constitution.

I'd rather see Bobby Knight, Lou Holz, and Hershel Walker.

Threadkiller

.

Miss Marple 2

Also, I am glad Mitt Romney sin't coming.

Whether you are a Romney fan or a Trump fan, there can be no doubt that after accepting Trump's endorsement and money and praising him in 2012, Romney's attacks and underhanded actions against Trump were dishonorable in the extreme.

henry

It's official... abosrtion clinics are above the law:

BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected appeals, including from Wisconsin, seeking to put in place restrictions on abortion clinics.

Threadkiller

I Zell Miller still around? Let him take Limp WrisTed's spot.

Threadkiller

Is...

Gentlejim

OL,
Good to see they identified the always stubborn "rusty bureaucratic process" as the problem. Do they suggest a quick shot of PB Blaster to correct the problem? I would've thought ideologogical ambition played a role somehow.

It's good that they used 1.6 reams of paper to tell us what we knew right away.

Off to change a radiator.

All have a swell day.

buccaneer morgan

And Stephen hayes can clymer himself sideways.

buccaneer morgan

The same goes for mccaul as haney tells it.

Miss Marple 2

What has Hayes said. I think he's blocked me. LOL!

buccaneer morgan

A proper investigation of Orlando would raise the question raised in my post, some weeks ago,

Old Lurker

Gentlejim, next they will blame it on "waste, fraud and abuse".

Ditto Narc re Steve Hayes. Send him to James' house tonight.

There you go, folks. Any culture which would do this isn't worth a damn.

Now I had better get to work.

buccaneer morgan

Well he goes all Colombo while having been vouching for red queen for six monthes

Beasts of England

Has Hillary suspended her campaign yet?

buccaneer morgan

Its like exciting Tory pitch in tHat by-election. A month or two back. When both mAjor parties lost seats.

Janet

It's official... abosrtion clinics are above the law:

Maybe other types of businesses can leap-frog on this ruling to say they don't want to obey any damn government mandated regulations either. The coal industry should try it.

Whether women were safer didn't appear to be a consideration...all that mattered was whether abortion clinics would have to close because it was too expensive to upgrade their facilities.

Why can't coal companies argue that?

When has expense ever stopped government from implementing regulations on other businesses?

THis should be a green light for ALL BUSINESSES. We will not obey costly regulations that will hurt our business.

Beasts of England

The left run sanctuary cities, continuously ignore abortion laws, and run public pot shops in a few states - all in violation of state and Federal laws. We get a report.

henry

We have our squirrel: BREAKING NEWS: 2 Freight trains collide in Texas.

Thomas Collins

I have texted the TC Phoenix pic to all from whom I received a text. If you sent a text and haven't received a pic, your text must have gotten stuck in the text intertubes. Try again.

In answer to your query, anonamom, about the subject of the bet, I bet Trump would not win the GOP nomination. My agreement was to obtain a tat if he did. Various JOMers put up various things (for example, BOE agreed to send me a bottle of Bruichladdich scotch or traipse up to Beantown and treat me to a L'Espalier dinner). With Trump having secured more than half the delegates, I think it's fair to say I lost the bet even in the unlikely event of a successful coup.

buccaneer morgan

Lee stranahan at breitbart points out the shibboleth, re huma

jimmyk

Maybe other types of businesses can leap-frog on this ruling to say they don't want to obey any damn government mandated regulations either.

Apart from the specific issue involved (abortion), this SC ruling is outrageous for validating the federal government's override of individual states' regulations. The 10th Amendment is history. Uncle Sam knows better than your state or local government what's good for you. We're seeing the same thing with education, and I'm sure we'll see it soon with everything else traditionally left to state and local governments.

henry

this picture of train crash... two BSNF freight trains hit head on... picture shows burning pile of bimodal cars (piggyback trailers).

anonamom

Geez, no disrespect to any hetero male here intended at all, but facts are facts. And I didn't start it, Beasts did.
He posted earlier about the HRC-Fuaxahontas pairing yesterday--two old hags.

All Trump has to do is make sure Melania is on stage with him as often as is humanly possible between now and November, and the election is his.

Just sayin'---at least from how my partners perk up whenever our new young blondes-with-ponytails junior partners are working with them. ;-)
A la what Scott Adams is trying to teach us about elections.

jimmyk

Oh yes, and bakeries and flower shops. Everything is under federal control.

henry

Plus health insurance markets jimmyk

Beasts of England

I arrived at 'hags' only after trying several far less charitable descriptors. ;)

Miss Marple 2

anonamom,

This morning Adams is saying Hillary's minions are winning the persuasion contest calling him a "crazy racist." Adams thinks Trump should counter with a speech on race.

This sounds suspiciously like someone has taken over his Twitter feed.

Myself, I think he should appear at the Apollo theater with Mike Tyson and Dennis Rodman.

buccaneer morgan

the daily caller has the piece about haney,

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/06/28/bombshell-911-huma-worked-hillary-saudi-charity-suspected-terror-funding/

this is why james goldsmith had to come up with the independence party in the first place,

NYT notification:

A two-year House inquiry into the 2012 attacks on a U.S. compound in Libya found no new evidence of wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton.

I guess "new" is the operative term there? But it was completely foreseeable that the MSM would spin it this way.

rse

jimmy-here is a link to a microsoft paper on the glories of public-private partnerships. https://msp2l1160225102310.blob.core.windows.net/ms-p2-l1-160225-1023-13-assets/18261_2%20Public%20Private%20and%20Community_v3_en-US.pdf

The tech companies are just having a grand old time. Just like the media companies whose broadband subs have been declared by the UN to be a human need eligible for taxpayer funding.

Janet

I can't even read the "news" anymore. It is SO sickening.
Propaganda & spin.

jimmyk

You just know the MSM is having a good chuckle at Republicans' expense over the Benghazi report. The Dems' report is so politicized that it talks about Trump a dozen times, while the "responsible" Republicans can't find a way to prevent the MSM from spinning this as vindication for Hillary.

It's also interesting that the committee's report was described (at least in some places) as the "Republican" report. Shouldn't it be the official report of the Committee, with Dems issuing a dissenting report? When the sham Financial Crisis committee, with a majority of Democrats did it, that's how it was, with a dissenting report published as an addendum.

buccaneer morgan

exactly jimmy, a carlos slim review of populist tomes, by tanenhaus, takes that tone with the evidence that their own reporter gretchen morgensen
uncovered re govt pressures on subprime,

pagar a bacon, country ham and sausage supporter

Just one more milestone on the miracle that Miss Marple bought to us a few nights ago. You can see it at the LUN. It is simply impossible to believe that the total has passed $300,000 and that over 12,000 people have contributed an average of $24.00.

Man Tran

Finally had a chance to read the last Wretchard and noticed that Iggy's posting of glas's age/experience of the Brexit voters is the top comment. :)

The Infamous Ignatz

Yeah, MT. My most popular comment ever and I wrote essentially none of it. :)

Gentlejim

I don't know what MM is doing to torque people off on Twitter, but I think I'm going to create an account just so I can block her. 😜

anonamom

I read her Tweets---she's polite.

How I'm feeling today - constant replay of Fauxcahontas shrieking!

This is to your response on the previous thread
Trump needs Kasich now more than the reverse.
Trump is a smart practical guy.
He knows the moves he needs to make after trying to humiliate his fellow candidates.
