There was local news coverage of a BLM rally in downtown Cleveland this morning. First of all, there weren't many people there; certainly not enough to merit prominent placement in a news broadcast. Second, the woman they interviewed seemed like a nice and reasonable person. Not sure if that was a camera persona and that she's, underneath it all, a rabble rouser with a roaring case of envy against anybody better off than she is but none of my scam detectors moved off of zero. My point is that since the Hough and Glenville riots this has been an area mostly free of racial strife which forms a lot of the basis, I think, of maryrose's optimism for how the convention will proceed.

Just had the oddest coversation at the BH whole foods which is now the only place that carries what my vegetarian who doesn't like veggies wants as her pesto sauce.
