Most important to cosmopolitanism, they understood one needed a center of gravity in family to be able to "cosmopollinate" with the outside world.

Shite, I went to mass today and parked next to two Bentley convertibles. Then went for coffee at Sip 'n Soda and parked next to a McLaren driven by a babe who looked like Megyn Kelly. Then I drove the dogs down Gin Lane and saw Michael Bloomberg on a beach bike.

Does that count? Starbucks is now across the street from Sip 'n Soda and has a back parking lot which we all use to got to Sip 'n Soda for coffee. No one goes to Starbucks, its too crowded.
