Captain Hate

The US government has new sexual assault policy that allows a victim to report all types of sexual aasault to the government without notifying anyone. No police, lawyers, governments, etc. It is classified beyond all things, view only by special written request from a federal inspector general or someone designated by the victim. It never goes away a is unresticted, prosecutable civily or criminal at any time by the victim. The reported are never notified, but the victim can say or threaten anything at will, forever

Sounds like the crap that kollidges and youniversities pull where they run roughshod over the rights of the accused. So you were falsely accused of something that you can prove never happened? It will still be a part of your record; what could go wrong?

CH, that sounds like something to Cloward Piven the lefties on. Just report anyone with a dem bumper sticker every chance you get.

Exactly the kind of crap that has ammo and firearm sales at historical highs.

People aren't just worried about thugs and terrorists.

Letter to AP:

When can we expect AP to report on the latest Project Veritas investigative reporting?

I understand that Robert Creamer has a long history with law enforcement for so high a political job.

In a timely fashion, please check how many times and how often Creamer visited Obama at the White House.

Can we expect something before the Presidential debate?

Thank you.

BR

Heh, JamesD, the Protectors of the protectors may just tickle them so they wiggle an inch or so to safety :)

M2M, it's a parody of the dem operative stupids in video 1 who took a hunting term or investigative term and used it for their agent-provocateurism in inciting violence at Trump rallies, etc.

sbw

Letter to AP:

Now that “bird-dogging” has joined the political lexicon, can we shortly expect an explanation for our readers?

James O’Keefe has produced ample evidence of fomenting disaffection and contriving violence at Trump rallies that has taken in too many in the major media.

When you follow the trail past the cut-outs, this goes beyond dirty tricks to subversion.

Please don’t let AP be among them.

Thank you.

James D

Insty had a link last night to Trump's support for a term limits amendment.

Here's an amendment I would like to see:

No relative of any Senator, Congressman, Federal Judge or Executive Branch appointee shall be permitted to lobby the federal government, hold any elected or appointed federal office, or work for any agency of the federal government, or for a contractor to the federal government, for the duration of the individual's term in office, and for a period of 20 years after the individual leaves federal office.

"Work for" includes full-time employment, part-time employment, consulting, volunteering, or performing any service of any kind or being compensated in any form.

"Relative" includes any relation by blood (including parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, step-siblings, first and second cousins), marriage (including stepchildren, ex-spouses, and children of ex-spouses) or adoption.

henry

sbw, I hope you are not just peeing into the wind there.

Captain Hate

sbw, you're doing your best to create a conscience in AP. Do they ever respond?

James D

Shut up, Marco:

http://www.nbcnews.com/card/marco-rubio-warns-republicans-dont-talk-about-wikileaks-n668746

Miss Marple the Deplorable

"Today it is the democrats; tomorrow it could be us."

Well, Marco, is that your final answer?

Because the whole point of these emails is to show the shady stuff going on in the political between a campaign, media, and the government.

I frankly think all of them, with the exception of a few like Jeff Sessions, are corrupt.

My question is why does this make Rubio so nervous?

Captain Hate

Dondi's white toga is immaculate! What a knob.

henry

Apparently his closet is packed with skeletons

Porchlight

"Today it is the democrats; tomorrow it could be us."

Then make it your business to clean up your party, like Trump is doing.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Let's revisit that terrible stand-up comedy routine attack on Donald Trump.

Who convinced him that was a good idea? OR who forced him to do it?

He was supposed to be the best shot at defeating Trump at the time. (This was before Christy eviscerated him.) Instead, he self-immolated while trashing Trump.

Looks to me like someone thought this was a 2-fer, only it backfired and only took Rubio out.

(I may have my timeline wrong on the Christy attack, if so maybe I am letting my paranoia get out of hand.)

maryrose

Truth comes out and Rubio panics.
What is he afraid of and why not embrace the bright light being shone on Democrat malfeasance?

maryrose

I wonder if Chris Wallace will ask Hillary about the National Enquier stories?

Remember they had the John Edwards and Rielle Hunter story and everyone discounted it at the time.

ThreadkiIIer

Rubio is afraid that free thinking Americans will see that he knew he wasn't eligible to be POTUS but he wasted their time and money out of selfishness.

Buckeye

(I may have my timeline wrong on the Christy attack, if so maybe I am letting my paranoia get out of hand.)

Not paranoia, simply justified suspicion:)

jimmyk

"Today it is the democrats; tomorrow it could be us."

He says that as though it's a bad thing.

DebinNC

The Super Tuesday week debate was where a giggling, puerile Rubio self-immolated on live tv. Christie added fire by throwing in occasional "See, he's doing it now" when Rubio reverted to programmed mode, spouting off whole paragraphs by rote - a Rubio staple that Christie had already been gleefully noting as he campaigned.

Porchlight

But but Rubio would be up 20 points right now if he were the nominee! NeverTrumpers told me so!

sbw

I hope you are not just peeing into the wind there.

No, just tilting at windmills. It’s like tithing. Ten percent of one’s time should be spent tilting at windmills.

Wikileaks Emails: Hillary Clinton 'Doesn't know
What planet she's on

https://t.co/PU4WtOJFU1

BR

sbw, you said it so well. Doesn't matter if it makes any impact at AP, your strong intention makes a difference in the universe.

BR

Yeah, ls, nevermind what planet, soon they'll be in no space and no time :)

The new magical universe has begun a while ago and it is an air so rarified, they cannot exist in it.

Buckeye

I suspect Trump will go all in tonight on what is not being covered by the MFM.

Wikileaks, O'Keefe videos, etc.

I fear he will not strike a reasonable balance, and forget to tell voters why they need to vote for him.

Hope I am wrong.

Appalled (Alt-Moderate)

Did Rubio also say that we shouldn't talk about the Trump tape, because it was obtained without the consent of one of the participants? Did he also tell us that publishing a page of Trump's tax return was a violation of his privacy, and how dare we even mention such matters.

Wikileaks/Assange is scum, and he is not a friend of the United States, or even Donald Trump. But even scum knows things we really should know (like what earns Hillary those big checks for speeches to Wall Street people), and foregoing important information already spread far and wide is stupid and, in the media environment we live today, political malpractice.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Buckeye,

I don't know. His latest ads included a couple of positives. His rally speeches are all ending with "you have the chance to make every dream you have for your family and your country come true, " along with the Make America (safe, strong, wealthy, great) litany.

The guy's a salesman, you know. I think maybe he will go in and be Charming Trump, while Hillary comes out nasty thinking she has to combat him. Could be an amazing evening!

DebinNC

Hope I am wrong

Me too. The ones under pressure should be Hillary and Chris Wallace, not DT.

buccaneer morgan

Like Raymond reddington, he's a useful scoundrel at times, and one has to resort to fictional tropes because that is all the press is about now, the Rhodes roadshow, the debacle in Saharan africa,

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Buckeye,

Got to thinking after I posted.

Trajectory of the 3 debates:
1. Don't look scary and look presidential.
2. Make Hillary look bad while showing command of material.
3. Look like someone you WANT to see on TV for the next 4 years (likability).

henry

Urban schools create illeteracy. Not that modern suburban schools are any good either, they deliver mediocracy. we are doomed.

henry

Yeah, I can't spell either. what fun! (i wish I could claim intent on that).

Captain Hate

It is indefensible that Assange was left alone when he was burning the few intel assets that Zippy and his oafish big mouthed VP hadn't already outed but now being railroaded on sex charges by people who consider Larry Flynt a great American. *Spit*

ThreadkiIIer

I'd like to see Trump show up with a series of peel off 2' x 1' stickers on his chest. Every 5 min he can reveal another story the MFM is bypassing. Wiki-quotes, O'Keefe video links, etc.

He can conclude by taking his jacket off and revealing a Bill Clinton Rape shirt. Then he could collect a few thousand dollars from Alex Jones.

Buckeye

MM and DebinNC

Agree that Hillary likely will be on defensive, and I hope he can artfully get under her skin.

Looking like someone you want to see on TV will help, he can do this without much effort.

DebinNC

It's bizarre how few public appearances HC has made in the 3 weeks since the first debate. Even more bizarre that press outlets have no interest in noting it, much less asking Team HC why that is and reporting their response.

MAM

I hope that DJT is positive and presidential and pounds Hillary on how his policies are CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE from the same old corrupt system. My gut tells me it's too late for him - and for us, but I am going to watch tonight and pray that he makes a case for our country. I'm not a fan of the rigged narrative because it looks like he's making a case for a loss. He's tied in both Rasmussen and LA Times tracking polls which is disappointing to me as I thought he was beginning to put distance between himself and Hillary. I'm just hoping for a Trumpexit type of finish to this entire election. I'm happy to see that Iggy is back. I missed reading his comments.

Captain Hate

One of the many things I like about Pence is that he doesn't let the MFM clowns interrupt him until he's said what he set out to say; while Pissy Wallace is going "if I may" or CBS's John Hairball tries to interrupt, he just forges ahead and makes his point in its entirety. Unlike Lurch who gets a pained look on his Halloween face and moves the mashed potatoes around so his Clutch Cargo mouth can spout something to show he's irritated.

Buckeye

No matter what, I continue to pray for early onset rigor mortis for Short Circuit.

Massive health crisis on the way to the debate tonight would be just about perfect.

DebinNC

An estimated 2 million kids are currently homeschooled, including our 3 grandkiddos. That hs number is growing nation-wide, and I bet fastest in urban areas and among black parents.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

MAM,

Your gut is telling you that because of your work location and your listening to the news media.

No Trump supporter is going to stay home because of the media crap.

I suggest you research where the polls showed Ronald Reagan vs. Jimmy Carter at this stage.

BR

MM, about that $1.5b transfer to Qatar, if true - this time it's so obvious, it's no longer "follow the money" but some other fun, like what if Qatar says "What money? We never received it. Must have disappeared somewhere in cyberspace."

I'm sure Mikey and the Clan of THWOT* at Ace's can disappear all traces of it ever arriving.

*Thought War on Tyranny

Received my mail in ballot yesterday and today with Frederick by my side I voted for Trump and Rubio and Ron DeSantis. The rest are all local races not even worth mentioning. I wanted to show Frederick what a ballot looked like and how you need to fill in the ovals correctly. Then we put it in the secrecy sleeve, sealed the envelope and then printed and signed by name.

Put it in the mailbox on our way to school. Done my part. Now prayers.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

BR,

I have ZERO evidence that story is true.

However, it was an interesting little tidbit I pulled up.

Frankly, I am willing to settle for exile as opposed to prison, if these horrible people would get out of our country and LEAVE US ALONE!

Captain Hate

I bet fastest in urban areas and among black parents.

I don't think either of those are correct. Maybe rse knows the answer.

DebinNC

I hope Trump passes the gravitas test tonight and resists his inner urge or CW's prodding to waste his time defending himself against personal slurs or making the odious HC seem like the calm victim of a bombastic bully.

ThreadkiIIer

Deb, this is the same media that accepted candidate Obama's premise that they had already asked him enough questions.

They were perfectly fine when President Obama had his Brownshirts remove them from the front of the Whitehouse when the pack of homos chained themselves to the fence.

Deb, the fight here is over vouchers. The teachers union / dems keep trying to restrain vouchers. Walker & the R's in the legislature are slowly opening vouchers to students of any failing school. (which is most of Milwaukee Public Schools, Kenosha, Racine, Madison, Janesville). It is at the point where the MPS is cooking numbers to avoid having its worst schools turned into charters under state law. (Granted, as rse points out home school may be the only way out of UNESCO slavery-- but the fight goes on anyway).

#DrainTheSwamp Remove the “powerful smell of mendacity”.

Buckeye

If you have a billion and a half to buy an insurance policy, and really need one, might be a damn good idea.

Trump wins, there is a Gulfstream waiting on the tarmac.

Actually 2.

One to take Short Circuit where she wants to go, and one to take WJC to pervert island.

Hopefully the Secret Service guys say "sorry, nothing I can do for you, you're on your own".

DebinNC

The teachers union

No public employee unions down here in Redneckistan, henry. Most public school teachers here join PAGE (Professional Assoc. of GA Educators) instead of the radical and more expensive NEA. And mostly just for the liability insurance offered.

James D

Not that modern suburban schools are any good either, they deliver mediocracy. we are doomed.

Mediocracy would be a vast improvement. What they're actually delivering is, as rse has documented, far, far more damaging.

DebinNC

We won't be voting this week, as dh just reported news of very long lines at polling places described as "it's wild". Can't believe anyone is "wild" to vote for Hillary.

henry

James D, I agree. The results were based on the mandated standard tests. Alinsky rule whatever- make them live up to their own standards. As anything approaching learning goes, the tests can only disprove. (Which they do).

Buckeye

Early voting in Ohio is Oct12-Nov7.

I am planning to vote on Nov8 at "normal" (whatever the hell that means these days) polling location and time.

If something pops up that takes me out of town, already know where the early voting location is.

Wonder how many buses of Somalians are pulling up to that location this week??

James D

Deb, I can, if you define "wild to vote for Hilary" in the sense of a diseased wild animal that needs to be put down before it spreads sickness to others.

DebinNC

heehee, James D

MAM

MM - you are so right abut my work environment. If Trump "drains the swamp," I hope he takes most of higher ed with him. Yesterday, I had to listen to a lunch table full of women excoriate Billy Bush for not punching Trump out during the locker room talk. They wanted to know if Billy Bush was going to apologize to his daughters. I then asked if everyone at the table had apologized to their own daughters for having supported Bill Clinton. Their collective response was silence. However, later in the afternoon, a young woman who lunches with us and is fairly new here, came by my office and told me that she and her fiance are both voting for Trump. Baby steps...

Buckeye

GREAT story MAM!!!

Buckeye

I have a bottle of Cristal that one of my audiophile clients gave me as a gift.

I plan to put it on ice evening of Nov8, and if Trump pulls it out, time to celebrate!

If Hillary wins, I will re-live my college days, go to some dive, and order "a shot of the cheapest shit in the house" as my best bud used to do.

sbw

Buckeye, Winston Churchill on Pol Roger champagne:

DebinNC

MAM, I'd like to know what state you're in - if you don't mind saying. Knowing where people are helps me better understand their posts. Scanning this page, I also don't know the whereabouts of TK, BR, Appalled, and lurkersusie. I'm in generally conservative, mostly evangelical NW GA fwiw.

Captain Hate

However, later in the afternoon, a young woman who lunches with us and is fairly new here, came by my office and told me that she and her fiance are both voting for Trump. Baby steps...

The woman I bought Teddy from put up a post on Zuckerberg yesterday showing bikers for Trump as a wild bunch of Harley riders and bikers for Fatass as a prim Victorian prude. I honestly didn't know which way she was leaning but that wasn't surprising imo.

lurkersusie

DebibNC,

I'm in New York, the Hudson Valley.
Those born and raised are Republican.
The area has been infiltrated by down state
Democrats. Most commute to the city
for jobs.

Captain Hate

TK is around San Diego, I think; I might be wrong on the specific location but it's somewhere in Southern Clownifornicate.

Truthbetold5

Do we know if TK is a citizen?

Janet

It was a big deal to me to wear a Deplorables t-shirt to that community street festival awhile ago...since then I wear a Trump t-shirt every day.

I get an 'I like your shirt' almost every day. Not a lot but some...mostly from staff in stores.

I can't get a feel AT ALL about how this election is gonna turn out.
Few signs...whispers among friends....
Most people are quiet.

MAM

DebinNC - I reside in Massachusetts - ugh!! I was born and raised in Vermont, went to college in Massachusetts, met and married my husband who was born and raised in Cambridge, MA (one of the most liberal cities on the planet). We have always been fairly conservative. Our three sons live in Mass and we adore our grandchildren so we can't imagine leaving this crazy place. Our daughter lives in PA and she and her husband are voting for Trump - thank goodness. I'm guessing that all three of my daughters-in-law are Hillary supporters, but I love them anyway!! One of my brothers lived in Charlotte for a long time - and we loved visiting him there.

Captain Hate

I would hope, given his obsession concern, that TK would have a legitimate birth certificate ready to present on request.

DebinNC

Thanks, y'all. That's very helpful.

Captain Hate

Janet, I admire how demonstrative you are in your support.

Any1AnywhereCanBeReported

Just scanned. JSYK the sexual aasault ultra secret reporting is law, courtesy of congress critters law givings. Ideally other governments will do same, like in the ME or where barred religions practice. Or blackmail with foreign aid or contributions to foundations or something.

Porchlight

Agree with Cap'n, Janet. I admire the "out" supporters! I'm wearing my Les Deplorables shirt and the MAGA hat you gave me tonight while watching the debate.

My work situation is much like MAM's. I posted on the new thread that on my drive through liberal central Austin this morning, I saw exactly zero Hillary stickers, one anti-Trump and one Bernie. And that includes the very full university parking garage.

It was all Obama four years ago, and lots of Bernie in the spring.

Did I mention new thread? :)

"When you speak out, you encourage others to speak out." ~ Eric Metaxas

The few times I've been asked about supporting Trump I stick with:
I like that he's not a career politician.
I want to be left alone.
I'm tired of everyone in DC...same old faces year after year.

If anything, most agree with that. I avoid talking politics with neighbors. I only answer if THEY bring it up.
If some neighbor goes on a rant I do ask questions though.
I kinda play dumb...'What is the correct global temperature?', 'Do you ride your bike to work?'
The minute a question is asked they usually stop talking.
