The NY Times laments the lack of attention paid to climate change during the current Presidential "campaign". In a pathetic bid for clicks they troll us with this:
“When nobody talks about the issue, the clear signal is that this isn’t very important,” Dr. Leiserowitz said. “Ultimately, it comes down to one of the most precious resources on the planet, human attention.”
He also said that when public figures such as President Obama, Pope Francis and Leonardo DiCaprio talked about climate change, it could influence how much the public says they care about climate change...
Uhh, one of those things is not like the others (and no, the eye-catching divergence is not on skin tone, except for racially-obsessed progressive bean-counters).
But, and you can only imagine my surprise, those names weren't picked form a hat - Leo has a documentary coming out which includes, some big names:
Friends in high places: Trailer for jet-setting Leo's new environmental documentary 'Before The Flood' stars Obama, Pope Francis and of course DiCaprio himself
So droll of them to note that climate change is not quite enough of a crisis for Leo to forego the private jets. And I am old enough to remember talk of "limousine liberals".
ERRATA: I will never find a link to verify this but burned in my memory is an old Normal Lear ("All In The Family" anecdote. His car pulled up in front of some pollution/climate conference or other and he hopped out of his very fancy BMW. Asked whether he understood the contrast between his message and his mode of transportation, his reply was something like "I get it, its a polluting gas-guzzler and we can't go on like this - but have you felt the ride?"
Whatever. Maybe Hillary should tell Leo to get a life.
COMPLETING THE LIST: Back in a famous 1998 article describing young Leo's night-clubbing antics with, well, the Pussy Posse, we complete the circle:
When he goes to a club, people start screaming and jumping over the security guards and elbowing and pushing to get near him."
And that's not just the civilians. "The models are all over him," says Jeffrey Jah, director of the club Life. "He's got rock stars, Puff Daddy, Donald Trump, going over to his table to sit with him. Leo just comes in to hang out with his friends."
Oy.
Exactly, derwill.

MM,
Ground chuck is no longer always the least expensive cut.
Since people are now openly and actively resisting McGovern's USDA fatwa against tasty animal fat, 90/10 ground round has lost its entirely undeserved premium status for being low fat.
That's about right so far as I'm concerned since meat over 90% lean…whether beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey, or salmon…really has nothing to recommend it over textured vegetable protein (soy).

Chuck todd also reiterated barring someone outside event hillary has this and trump would have to have a knock out blow tomorrow night.

Charles Hurt, Washington Times, to Lou Dobbs moments ago:
Charles Hurt: Even as the Media wrings its hands about this and gets so upset about about Trump using the words "rigged", you look over on the other side of the newspaper and they're declaring that he has already lost the Election. If that doesn't feed into this notion that it is "rigged," I don't know what does. But the other thing I think, and we've been talking about this for a decade or more, these Voter ID Laws which Democrats strenuously oppose, and then we talk about their desire to drive illegal immigrants into this country and turn them into voters. So, is it rigged, is it not rigged, I don't know but I don't trust anybody on that side on that issue, because they have made it so clear that they want to change the electorate and take power away from the American People.

MM - my age old trick when roast prices soar is to ask the butcher about the stew beef. As you probably know, these are cut from the roasts to make them more uniform and are usually quite tender and good. I used to brown the beef, and toss in my crock pot with root vegetables or my dutch oven if I would be home to check on it. Not for an occasion that needs a carved roast, but for weeknight meals - it fits the bill.

Love this part of the Resignation letter from Bob Creamer about how much integrity his Political hatchet group has:
"Contrary to the outrageous claims of the notorious right wing Blogger James O'Keefe, we have always adhered to the highest standards of transparency and legality in our work for the DNC."
Here's some of his background:
Robert Creamer, the husband of Democrat congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, is a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty to defrauding banks out of 2.3 million dollars in a check-kiting scheme along with violations of federal tax laws. The crimes were committed in relation to running his failing non-profit organization, paying his salary, and keeping him in the manner to which he was accustomed...He was a political consultant to recently imprisoned former governor Rod Blagojevich, a friend of political consultant David Axelrod, and mentor to current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel...
First Question: Why would he suddenly develop ethics, now that he has been released from serving 5 months in prison and 1 year of house arrest?
Second Question: Would any decent and honest organization, worried about maintaining their decent and honest reputation, hire to be their boss a guy with such a despicable reputation?
Maybe it's more of that "its the Christian thing to do" business we keep hearing about.

Thirty five years ago, I cut meat for a few years, first in a huge meat processing plant and later for a local supermarket. I won't mention which store because they're no longer in business. Our store would advertise "Chioce" cuts but buy a grade of meat lower than that called "No Roll." Then we'd put the meat on a conveyor belt where it would enter a tunnel and hundreds of needles would penetrate the fiber, tenderizing the meat. I won't tell you about the stuff we used to hide way in the back on top of the walk-in cooler. I refuse to buy meat from the supermarket.
We used to bone out the necks for stew beef.

Creamer is part and parcel of the Alyinsky wing of the party--per Jennifer VernerL
Jennifer Verner
Jennifer Verner Robert Creamer has been a political organizer and strategist for over four decades. During that time he has worked with many of the country’s most significant issue campaigns. He was one of the major architects and organizers of the successful 2005 campaign to defeat the privatization of Social Security. He has been a consultant to the campaigns to end the war in Iraq, pass universal health care, hold Wall Street accountable, pass progressive budget priorities, and enact comprehensive immigration reform. He works with Americans United for Change where he helped coordinate the campaign to pass President Obama’s landmark jobs and economic recovery legislation.
During the 2008 Presidential Election he worked for the Democratic National Committee as National Coordinator of field based rapid response to Republican candidates McCain and Palin. During his career, he has worked on hundreds of electoral campaigns at the local, state and national level. Creamer began his organizing career in 1970 working with Chicago’s Citizen Action Program (CAP) which had been organized by Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation. CAP successfully campaigned to reduce the sulfur dioxide in Chicago’s air by almost two thirds.
In 1974 Creamer founded the Illinois Public Action Council – later known as Illinois Citizen Action – which became the state’s largest consumer advocacy organization and progressive political coalition. He directed the organization for 23 years. He has been a full time political consultant since 1997 when he co-founded the Strategic Consulting Group.

Heather Booth and her Husband Paul are former SDSers, very well linked in with David Fenton and the underground Alinskyite Midwest Academy, that is the well font for a lot of Marxist activism within the Democratic Party. I bet Creamer was an SDSer too. heather and her husband Paul Boothe were involved in Citizen Action during the Clinton Era and accused of laundering money for the Unions (AFL-CIO if memory serves me.) into the Clinton's coffers. Believe some of them went to jail over it. Oh Man!! JACKPOT!!
ROBERT CREAMER IS ON THE BOARD OF HEATHER BOOTH'S MIDWEST ACADEMY!!! Straight to the SDS/Alynskyite/Marxist socialist source.!!!!

BTW,
The Proof that it isn't the Russians behind Assange's Wikileaks, and that it is instead the Ecuadorians who shut it down, is that John Kerry asked the Russians to quit helping Assange.
Since when have the Russians done anything that John Kerry has asked them to do?
QED.

Creamer's a convicted felon too.

Matt - the MFM and elected Dems already call the wikileaks outright lies. If you don't believe the MFM, just ask Tim "soy católico" Kaine.

Didn't Creamer write the ACA draft from his cell block?

First guy: Hi,
I run a totally honest, absolutely honorable, non-Profit Political Action group promoting Democratic values and honest Government. I need to hire a rock solid boss of unquestioned integrity who will keep us morally and ethically focused on the straight and narrow as we do our job. Any suggestions?
Second guy: If Bob Creamer is out of jail, he's your guy.
First Guy: Gee, thanks for that great suggestion Mister Soros!

@andylancaster @BiasedGirl So @TheAdvocateMag says supporting certain candidates makes you stop being gay. Is that conversion therapy? 🤔
