The NY Times tries to fire up the troops for the closing push:
Hillary Clinton Makes Pitch for Mandate and a Swing-State Sweep
This is not 2008, when the legacy media sincerely believed their guy represented both hope and change. In this campaign the legacy media has long-ago abandoned the pretense that there is a positive case for Hillarity! Hence the daily (hourly? OK, hourly) ten minute hates on Trump.
"Vote For The Crook, Not The Crazy!" fits on a bumper sticker but it does not lead to any mandate other than "Don't Be Trump", and is unlikely to lead to big swings down ballot.
I foresee depressed turnout this election. Meaning total votes will be down from 2012, and the poor fools who do straggle to the polls will be depressed.
Depressed turnout? That's the Hillary voters.

Agreed DebinNC - no Trump staffer should be saying that Hillary is"sitting on her lead." Seriously, don't feed into the MSM narrative that she is leading. Several students told me this week that they will not vote for Hillary due to her "lack of transparency," which is another rallying cry of the younger generation. I think the Reddit kids reflect that as well. If they wont' vote for Trump, at least they will vote Stein or Johnson and not HRC. Clarice is a hero for going to a college/university to support Trump. It's a climate of censorship and group think - disgraceful.

I caught wind of Rick Wilson saying there would be one more drop of anti-Trump crap, which I assume is why Mc. McGuire thinks there won't be enthusiasm for Trump supporters.
I want to make it plain here and to any who happen upon this, we are going to the polls and voting, enthusiastically, regardless.
I do not care. The entire Clitnon machine (crooks), the media (bought and paid for commies, shills and crooks), the GOPe (crooks, quislings, and jellyfish) and the global corproate interests (thieves and sell-outs) are all arrayed against him.
I vote proudly and enthusiastically for him. And anyone that loathesome Rick Wilson hates is, by definition, a good guy.

Is there a more gutless Repuke than Rob Portman? By withdrawing his endorsement of Trump in a state DJT may win, he showed a McRINO

Now every MAGA type is lukewarm to ice cold on voting for that backstabbing knob. lurkersusie--The plan is McMullin wins Utah's 6 electoral votes, and when neither Hillary nor Trump get the 270 necessary, the election gets thrown into the House and the House will pick McMullin, and the Senate will confirm him and voila! Their plan doesn't seem to include a contingency for how to handle the tens of millions of voters who will descend upon the Capitol with pikes and pitchforks.
Also, they same to be able to simultaneously believe that Trump is losing bigly and the election will be so close that Utah's 6 will stop both candidates from getting the 270 needed.
Trump has caused them to lose whatever minds they had.

I've been trying to keep up with news from home. The Bangor paper also endorsed the Democrat for the 2nd district congressional race. Our current congressman is a bland RINO type and has been strong on constituent services. The Democrat is a young woman who ran an ad about fat shaming, she has weight issues and we can't shame young girls because feelings. She followed all the Dem talking points during the campaign. Another interesting thing about henry's link is that it shows Feingold winning 45-39 as Trump is pulling 40 to Hillary's 28 and Johnson's 20.
Which would mean Trump is drawing huge numbers of Dems, similar to that Louisiana poll. In the early vote, which I assume Dems would always win in Milwaukee County.

Yeah, a properly calibrated machine changes your vote from Rep to Dem after you've left the voting booth so you don't notice.
Reminds me of this from the DEM Primary: Lucky? Hillary Clinton Wins All 6 Coin Tosses In Iowa, Taking Narrow Delegate Lead
Bernie Sanders’ voters will not be amused to learn that the Democratic National Committee awarded six deadlocked precincts, out of 99 precincts total, to Hillary Clinton with a literal coin toss.
She won all six of the coin tosses. The odds against winning six out of six coin flips are 64-to-1 against, or 1.56 percent.

I repeat what Caddell said:
All of the tracking polls keep holding at Trump being ahead,” he continued. “And then all of these other polls that are one-off polls, or whatever … I don’t know how they’re doing some of these university polls. You just put the name of some university and apparently it becomes credible, whether they know what they’re doing, or not.
But in any event, polling is all over the place…. Something isn’t adding up,” said Caddell.
“Something is going to happen here, I just sense it,” he concluded. Either “Hillary will glide into the White House, or we’re headed for one of the greatest shocks in American politics. I think it’s a very close call. I think the shock potential is enormous.”

Good Morning.
I notice that Lonnae O'Neal, the WaPo reporterette, who had sex on the desk in the FCC officials office, attacked in print a young Conservative black kid for daring to criticize Obama's Bulls**t invitation to "Clock Boy."
MSM demonizes conservative teen
Lonnae tells us this ‘pleasant-looking kid’ is “weird” and “ick[y].”
Lonnae is White, the Conservative kid is Black, but obviously he is the wrong kind of Black.
Lonnie continues: ‘[Y]ou can’t help be put off by anybody who is 13 and who is so disrespectful, especially without the standing and age to allow his words to pass for serious critique or discourse.’
Says the mature gal that bangs some FCC Official on his desk.
Posted by: daddy | October 22, 2016 at 02:09 PM
Caddell gives a good description of the poll madness. The problem is he doesn't lite anywhere. No one wants to make any sure fire predictions because of the embarrassment of 2012. It's possible that the growing numbers of 'polls' are meant to skew the RCP overall average.
We've heard from polling groups that we've never seen before. Got to be some political strategy involved to effect voters' mind set. We see the huge numbers of people turning up at Trump rallies and the paucity of people who show up to see the few Clinton events. The enthusiasm for Trump has been there from the start and has grown throughout the past year. And then NBC or the Wall Street Journal or some unknown university comes out with a poll that essentially says, "Don't believe your lyin' eyes."
Posted by: Barbara | October 22, 2016 at 02:13 PM
You still haven't acknowledged the possibility some voters are ashamed to tell pollsters they like Trump. And how about those undecideds?
