Happened to see that Piers Morgan of all people seems to have a clue re Trump vs. Hillary (not that he supports Trump, but he at least seems to call the MSM on its BS):
I don't think she would [be a better President than Trump].
Not sure what Hillary really cares about other than being 1st female President & lining her pocket in the process.
Bloomberg is certainly no friend of Trump or Republicans for that matter. If he has Trump up here ( which I believe from everything I can see from my vantage point ) then you should consider that an admission against interest...
That's a pretty damning email, actually - or it would be, if Dem voters had any pride, or anyone on Hillary's team had the slightest self-awareness:
Podesta admits that Hillary should have come to the big black donor bundling event, because her failure to appear sends a message that they're not important to her (which obviously they aren't, except in the moment they're writing their checks).
But he also thinks that simply having her drop in, wave hello, stay five minutes and then jet off to wherever, will be enough to mollify these donors, and make them "sing her praises." She doesn't need to actually interact with them, listen to their concerns, promise anything, or even really tell them anything; just basking in her presence ought to be enough to open their wallets.
I don't think so, TK, the more straightforward explanation is that she is all about Megyn Kelly and advancing her career in an industry that is overwhelmingly Democrat-friendly. No wonder she can relate to Hillary more than to Trump.
If the polls are correct and Trump is picking up 20-25% of Clinton's "firewall," I'd say that the right people got the signal. I find it interesting that they talk about the donor elite being the message leaders. Boy, they sure do project well.
Rich, Trump is absolutely hovering around that 20% number. He will exceed it in some states and fall short in others. That's why I'm confident of a landslide.
Democrats are crowing about this poll in Florida showing Hillary with a 3 point lead but . . . is it just me or can't you just sense the desperation?
In Florida, Hillary Clinton has a three point lead over Donald Trump 46% to 43% with 6% undecided.
Trump has a 17-point lead among white voters, 53 to 36 percent. Clinton has a 49-point lead among African Americans, 73 to 24 percent, and leads with Hispanics, 68 to 19 percent.
And there is the desperation; did you notice it? They've admitted African American support at the 24% level [if true, this race is already beyond her reach] but they want us to believe Trump has *less* Latino support in Florida than black support.
Hmmmmmm. Every poll anywhere that has Hillary in the lead exhibits this kind of craziness. They vary the components; sometimes it's a quirky total for Blacks, sometimes Hispanics, etc.
In Florida, the only way they achieve such a result (beyond outright lying) is by HEAVILY and PURPOSELY oversampling Puerto Ricans in the Orlando area. But, as we absolutely now know, shaping and handling is what they shamelessly do.
Oh yeah, baby. The desperate truth is beginning to sink in. Trump had an absolutely massive crowd in Tallahassee last night. #MAGA
Some of you may have already seen this, but this is video of Ion Sancho, the Supervisor of Elections for Leon County, FL, demonstrating a test of whether or not the optical scan ballot machines we use here in Tallahassee can be hacked. They are Diebold machines. The demonstration surprised even him, who has a pretty good reputation here for being a fair and basically "non-partisan" official (although I do think he leans a little to the left), and others who observed.
The reason this hits home to me is that, as he stated, before he saw this himself he would have disputed the possibility that the system could be hacked and would have felt confident certifying the results as tallied by the system.
Magnify that across all the counties in the US.
I know there are many different types of systems, in thousands of counties, with a whole slew of different officials and poll workers - most of whom are working hard to make sure the system is fair.
But in the end, it doesn't matter. The system CAN be hacked, particularly if the relatively few POINTS OF CENTRALIZATION in the "distributed" system can be corrupted or hacked by those with the desire to do so.
Quite frankly, I'm pretty sure the Establishment UniParty oligarchy whose power is threatened has the desire to hold on to that power.
As Wikileaks proves, they are using not just this tactic but all the others like media manipulation, over-sampled polls, voter intimidation, voter suppression, and everything else they can to push Hillary over the finish line.
I'm not sure we can ever have faith and confidence in the system again, unless and until some serious and fundamental changes are made to the system AND our culture itself.
RG, it sounds like the crowd at Devoe Moore's place could have been even bigger, but they stopped people from entering - especially those coming from I-10 - well before Trump arrived.
My favorite Linda Carter story is from about ten years ago when I got to hang out with Tammy in Phoenix. Her gal pal was a drop dead copy of Linda in the Wonder Woman dayz. Tammy was always working the room, so hanging back with her pal was a perfect game. She talked The Tams into going to the sporting clays event I initiated which may have been the trigger (heh) for Tammy getting the gun bug.
BTW the real Linda Carter went to HS on the Scottsdale side of the valley, but I never knew anyone who knew her in those days.
I would believe that. except ion sancho was one of those supervisors who didn't use the purge lists, and let many illegal voters participate in 2000, so then they came up with the demand for electronic voting machines, and then the print out, when they didn't get there way,

I come here for the courage and enthusiasm!!! I will say that the polling in this race has been quite odd but we'll see. I'm not in the fdcol63 camp quite yet, but I'm getting there. I think a lot of it has to do with where I am. Pretty sure Trump is going to lose the state and it wasn't a question that he would fair poorly in NoVa.
and it is a bit of fun with fdcol63 and his gloomy take these last couple of days. he has every right to be gloomy and I'm pretty close, but not quite there yet.
Janet, the comment you posted @ 10:10 in the previous thread about the WaPo opinion piece was written by a woman who lives in Falmouth,Maine. She is so "brave." She just couldn't stand all the Trump signs,so decided to steal them. I'm a bit surprised there were so many Trump signs to steal in Falmouth,ha. Falmouth is an upscale community near Portland. Portland has become moonbat central. The other day a guy was arrested in downtown Portland for dressing like a tree and blocking intersections.
He was trying to make a statement thru social choreography or some BS.
Well if Clem wants to reach Hispanics, he better seek out the corner near the Home Depot where the illegal day laborers hang out looking to get picked up.
I had my first JOMer meet-up yesterday. What fun! Fellow buckaroo, Lyle, bought me sushi (yes, we have sushi out here in buckaroo land) and we got to know each other and discussed politics, of course. We're both military brats, whose fathers retired in Idaho, so we have a lot in common. And Lyle in person is just like his posts--charming, witty and intelligent.
I can't really remember because we've both been on here for a while but if it wasn't something you directly stated it was an accumulation of things that made me guess it. Maybe like referring to yourself as Debbie Downer today; but you didn't correct rich's pronoun so I decided to ask directly.

But I do like reading, sunsets, walks on the beach with special someones, and cuddling ... along with beer, college football and contact sports, war movies and military history, politics, a wide spectrum of movies and music, etc.
Married to a Greek woman from whom I have to hide the knives, with one son.
I've had the pleasure of meeting both Porchlight - who was kind enough to chauffeur me around her town of Austin and have a few beers when I was there - and RG, who was kind enough to buy me dinner and some brews .... a gesture which I intend to reciprocate soon!
I was thinking about the idiot protest they put at the united nations, where do they find to worry about this (redacted) all so well with the world otherwise?

CH, let the suspense end. LOL Thankfully I'm a guy with no gender identity or sexual orientation issues. A 50s-ish, middle age, graying, more-frumpish-than-when-I-was-a-lean-mean-fighting-machine-who-was-all-I-could-be-in-the-Army caucasian male of mixed European heritage.
But I do like reading, sunsets, walks on the beach with special someones, and cuddling ... along with beer, college football and contact sports, war movies and military history, politics, a wide spectrum of movies and music, etc.
Married to a Greek woman from whom I have to hide the knives, with one son.
LOL

Rich, Rich, Rich -- civilization among the savages, bruh. I'm surrounded by Noles (NTTAWWT).
He's a good 'un. Ready to nuke the middle east after one more crazy attack, I think, and pretty representative of a bunch of Americans.

I've had the pleasure of meeting both Porchlight - who was kind enough to chauffeur me around her town of Austin and have a few beers when I was there - and RG, who was kind enough to buy me dinner and some brews .... a gesture which I intend to reciprocate soon!
Posted by: fdcol63 | October 26, 2016 at 11:42 AM
Always knew fdcol05 was a guy. He writes like a gentleman.

I was thinking about the idiot protest they put at the united nations, where do they find to worry about this (redacted) all so well with the world otherwise?
Posted by: buccaneer morgan | October 26, 2016 at 11:49 AM
fdcol63 is an awesome guy! We had drinks awhile back here in Austin. :)
Speaking of meetups, derwill and lyle, sounds like yours was a blast as well.
One of these days, JOM, we're going to have a huge party.
Posted by: Porchlight | October 26, 2016 at 11:50 AM
I think the cuddling part threw me off.

Here's my snip of Florida early voting so far.
Remember, for some reason, not all counties in FL have begun early voting. Some of the big R leaning counties are in that list.
Note also that 91% of requested R mail ballots have already been submitted, vs. 81% of Dems and 61% of unaffiliated.
Snipped from full data here:

Yeah, Buckeye, I know. College football is such a rollercoaster. I'm still a bit mad at y'all for stealing my damn coach. I know you didn't technically steal him, and I know he's "technically" from Ohio.
But I loved Urban. Still do.

JiB
Let us know what he thinks. You anticipate replacement?
Posted by: Buckeye | October 26, 2016 at 12:01 PM
maybe we could all sit in the shade smoking a bong and complain about the man ...
... bring back the good ole' days of teach ins and self criticism.
Posted by: the generalisticly deplorable rich | October 26, 2016 at 12:02 PM
We could even pass a feather, rich. And practice our up and downtwinkles.
