It is, in fact, very surprising ... because this was a PORTLAND jury, not an Eastern Oregon Jury. Shock waves.

Somebody in the comments pointed out that the MFM consistently reported that the protestors were very unpopular with the locals. Guess where the jury was from.
Do they ever not lie or not think they'll be caught? And they wonder why people hate them.

I find these stories of "groping" so distasteful. Am I the only woman who doesn't equate grope with assult? An unwelcome grope requires an indignant slap and departure from the scene. Then it is done, not to be dredged up again 15 or 20 years later.

Since I watched FBI Director Comey's testimony in front of Congress very carefully, I feel I am fully qualified to analyze why this case was fraudulent from the git-go and why all those Oregon boys with them strange names walked.
From TM's link:
1) "prosecutors...argued that the defendants' actions stepped over the line into a criminal conspiracy"
Balderdash! According to Comey there is no such thing as a "Criminal Conspiracy." Such mythical things exist only in fiction and TV shows, and in the minds of deplorable kooks like the cowboy yahoo's this Oregon Jury just exonerated. Bill Clinton walked onto Loretta Lynch's airplane on the Vegas Tarmac in 103 degree temperature and they chit chatted about golf for 33 minutes straight, and anyone who thinks Comey saw anything conspiratorial in non-suspicious stuff like that is totally bonkers. Why Comey even saw multiple Clinton aides deliberately dance upon subpoenas like revelers at a St Vitus Dance sanitarium, and then not even bother to show up to testify since they were busy wiping the bleach bits out of their immunized eyes with the cloths that they had made from pounding their used Blackberry's flat with hammers. Geez. Conspiracy's should be made of firmer stuff than that tripe.
2) "At the end of the day, there is an element of common sense that demonstrates the guilt of these defendants," Assistant U.S. Attorney Ethan Knight said during his closing arguments during the trial.
Well I don't know Assistant U.S. Attorney Ethan Knight from Anthony Weiner's left testicle, but what in the world would possess a prosecuting Attorney to come up with such a boneheaded concept as "Common Sense" in trying to determine evidence of criminal guilt? Would Comey ever resort to stooping so low as use such a flapdoodle ignorant concept as "Common Sense" to determine guilt? The man that'd say "yes" to that question would be a damn fool I'd sure be ashamed to shake hands with in a public bathroom. Why when Hillary wrote in her E-Mails telling her Aides she wanted the "Confidential" Headings cut off of "Confidential" E-Mails that was sent to her, and then Comey found dozens if not hundreds of just such E-Mails sent to her by those same Aides that had had that "Confidential" bit cut off of 'em, do you think he used one lick of this so called "Common Sense" business to try to figure out if that was any indication whatever of criminal guilt? Not on your life he didn't---he went to lunch. Why FBI Director Comey would no more use the insane concept of "Common Sense" in trying to figure out if someone was lying or cheating or stealing or overthrowing the Government than the man in the moon. Only a weasel'd resort to such an imbecilic tactic as that, so no wonder the Jury just laughed and laughed at that ignorant prosecutor for trying to pull one over on 'em. They'd probably seen Comey testify too!
I wouldn't a minded though if they'd done something sensible and tried to throw the book at 'em for whoever gave 'em all those stupid names---Cliven, Ammon, Bundy, Banya...who comes up with such stupid stiff? And also I heard one of 'em said the word "pussy" once last century. I think the preferred term nowadays is "Virginia."

Yep, Caro and Iggy, this is conspiratorial, but it's also common sense.
This tells me that Veritas and particularly WikiLeaks has been killing their side and their numbers, and they are frantic, so they unleash this, with immediate coverage to all complicit papers and networks, with buttressing comments already acquired from friends and roommates from 20 years ago, and all designed simply to get a sobbing, irate Moria on the networks, replaying Trump's "P***y" audio and saying that is the spur that made her have to stand up for her daughter.
It's a filthy, dirty totally predictable trick, but it tells me we are doing serious damage to them to make them have to spring it like this.
It's sordid and terrible, but I go back to my point that if we have to get out there and fight back, which we do, we demand to know the name of her date that raped her when she was 21, because that's the guy a woman who had been raped by should be fearful of for the sake of her daughter and for all the daughters across America, not of some 70+ year old Supreme Court Justice who has never been accused of any such thing by anyone his entire life. And if she doesn't cough up his name we ought to be screaming "hypocrite" at her loud and clear because she's letting a known Rapist roam free on the streets instead of honestly standing up for the children. I hate these people.
ALINSKY RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
Has Wolf Blitzer been able to verify the veracity of the Veritas tapes yet?

I liked Camille Paglia's closing comment:
Paglia says she has absolutely no idea how the election will go: ‘But people want change and they’re sick of the establishment — so you get this great popular surge, like you had one as well… This idea that Trump represents such a threat to western civilisation — it’s often predicted about presidents and nothing ever happens — yet if Trump wins it will be an amazing moment of change because it would destroy the power structure of the Republican party, the power structure of the Democratic party and destroy the power of the media. It would be an incredible release of energy… at a moment of international tension and crisis.’
Bring it on, Donald.

fwiw, a few comments from the CTH article above on the BLM Bundy case:
All tied this cesspool!
Hillary/Mcaullife paid FBI vp’s wife.
Podesta deep in the uranium sellout.
And the land the dispute was about is uranium mining territory.
One was killed by the FBI!
All connected.!
Throw in Harry Reid’s son in the government sanctioned Nevada land grab. Reid needs to face charges.
Randy Weaver’s family murdered at Ruby Ridge by FBI. 74 Christians murdered at Waco Texas by FBI. LaVoy Finicum murdered by FBI. Not a single FBI agent has been held accountable for these murders. These innocent people murdered by FBI were not part of the elite class of criminals protected by the FBI.
And the same FBI let Hillary get away with all of her crimes…
Everyone should familiarize themselves with the term “Jury Nullification.”
and extensive discussion about the voting process itself. I'm thinking these people are not Hillbullies.

Conservatives are called conservative for a reason. But it’s never good when you push our type that last little millimeter over the line. Because you never see what’s coming until it’s already over with. I’m thinking possibly the next couple of months in America are going to be a little surprising to those who underestimate the occupants of “flyover country” middle America. They forget we even exists except at campaign time.
A good many of us have been on our knees taking our appeals to a much higher office.
We’ll see what we see when the polls close on November 8th, but I’m glad to see some wise judges and some REAL journalists (the pesky internet kind, not those who play one on T.V.) are still around. That alone has made this singular election season (almost) worth it.

Gee, even the Morning Joe people think the Clintons are sleazy after the wiki leaks. From yesterday morning.
May be a repost.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or0WYLnQ1BE
It's the clip where Nicole Wallace says, when asked what would be said if the Bushes had done this, as solemnly as I've ever heard a talking head speak:
"The Bushes would never do this."
and Joes says
"I know."
Not sure what it says that they are just figuring that out...
but better late than never.
No wonder the Ds are pushing the early voting so hard. A few more days of not being able to deny reality might actually cause a few people to think about what voting for her means.
Posted by: anonamom; formerly adorable, now deplorable. | October 28, 2016 at 04:13 AM
Watched a bit of nbc and for the first time ever they made the allegations against the clintons the lead yesterday. That fits with it having an effect and coming up with a narrative other than the polls were fabricated and that didn't work.
I see the nyt is pushing the story this am that some of trump's supporters may not take hill's election without violence. When the media feels it must cover up realities that go to their utter and long term criminality, of course, putting them in wh is not viewed as legit. You sometimes reap what you sow and in this case the media and virtually all federal institutions have no legitimacy anymore.
Posted by: rse | October 28, 2016 at 05:00 AM
Morning Joe and Mica are shocked by these revelations, but they seem to want to put all the blame on Bill Clinton. They say that they haven't found a quid pro quo for these huge speaking and other fees for Bill, but if you follow the Wikileaks revelations the fees come first and are followed by a meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton again and again.
The evidence is there to show the pay to play. They just refuse to see it or it's part of their way of downplaying this whole thing. Poor Hillary. She can't control that evil Bill. Saint Chelsea pointed out these problems, implies Nicole Wallace repeatedly.
They showed the right level of angst. Nonetheless they seemed to deliberately ignore the obvious connection to Hillary Clinton. With the possible exception of the relief for Haiti scam, none of this would have happened if Hillary Clinton had not been Sec. of State.
Posted by: Barbara | October 28, 2016 at 05:03 AM
The fees were payment for access. Why can't they say that?
Posted by: Barbara | October 28, 2016 at 05:06 AM
Good morning!
Access is very valuable to a lot of people. Just having a photo of yourself with Bill and Hill up on your swank office wall is worth money in negotiations, sales, hiring, etc.
If it weren't valuable, why do those fundraisers charge EXTRA for a personal photograph?
And that's just for a photo. Imagine what some of those foreign donors can use just by having a meeting. And, by the way, we don't know what happened IN those meetings, do we?

He debunks the 100,000 year cycle, and re-inforces the 43,000 year cycle. He also proposes an accelerating descent into glaciation sometime in the next two millennia.
The funniest moment is when he announces that the next time we have to be scared of global warming is 70,000 years in the future.

'Kay, common sense rules that smart people already follow: Do no meet with anyone alone, especially work related, especially US government workers, especially military, especially contractors. Keep an arm and a leg distance from all people. All meetings are recorded and sent to an archivist who, ideally, is an analyst(good heads up on problems). Spies ,US government employees, contractors will usually announce themselves at an opportune moment making you liable for outing. You must immdiately have a representative call their handlers, like cia, and complain and/or file secret reportings to them.
When they come after your money dont think conventionally.

Biden's now dead son made Larry Sinclair's life miserable during the '08 campaign cycle.
It was important to destroy Sinclair so Odummy's coke and fag past didn't wreck the election.
Blackmailing others is the only reason I can think of for Biden to have made it this far.
I'm certain there is plenty of evidence as to the lack of character of Sinclair. I am more certain that a better hypothesis on Biden's success doesn't exist.

Second thought was....better not say it, I am still working on cleaning up my language:)

A quick aside: my younger brother is a criminal defense attorney in South Florida. I've been helping him with a filing issue this morning and it is always fascinating to deal with people who *INSIST* on fighting the logic of a software program. Wow, wow, wow.

--Clinton eyes Biden for SOS.--
I was thinking there didn't exist a person who could be a worse SoS than Hillary and Kerry. Then she went and found one.
The mind boggles.
Trump has to win, because we are not going to survive her presidency. And I mean that literally, as in many of us will not survive it.

Good one RG!, and intelligence has nothing to do with it....did he argue with your mom when you were kids?

That disinfo campaign that Miss M. linked to at 5:55 is brilliant.

MM: I should write a book set 200 years in the future where the Ice Age is upon us and all of the wealth in this country is concentrated in Appalachia.
Martha's Vineyard hotshots would struggle to the mountains as refugees, and be reduced to cleaning toilets in the newly remodeled Southern Baptist churches, with nary a risotto or argula in sight.
[Full belly laugh!] I like it! Go for it MM!
I bet daddy could riff on the idea and JamesD may have a new serial to start on.

Frau, glad you liked the blog entry and the Sentinel.
I read your comment and some of the others to our managers at our meeting this morning.

I like how the "reporters" quote him directly at one point but claim "he said he said" at another point.
Either they were listening or they weren't.
A stun gun??

Sometime during the night it felt like a major chunk of evil just left the world and all felt calm and safe.
I looked up all the synonyms for insignificant and the best one seemed to be just weak. The last remnants of Hillary and all evil seemed like a piece of dry pink face powder falling out of a woman's compact.
A calm, clear blue lightness throughout the universe, alive with pleasant action :)

Waiting for the announcement that my prayers for Curb Dive to catch a serious case of early onset rigor mortis have been answered.

"serious case of early onset rigor mortis"
How will you know the difference?
As the ham sandwich, Dems would elect her anyway.
Posted by: Old Lurker | October 28, 2016 at 10:17 AM
Yes OL, I suspect Huma and Cheryl have the tiller anyway.
Posted by: Buckeye | October 28, 2016 at 10:19 AM
Heh, Buckeye, I think it's better that she keep running for many reasons. 1) she's weak with a lot of baggage whereas the VP might have more stamina and voters know less about him 2) God will have an easier time come Judgement Day, because those who are not destined for Heaven on Earth are drawn to her like a magnet and so they self-identify and self-destruct :)

When Porch arrives, can she tell me why the IBD trend and the stories about TX going for Clinton should not drive me to MAM territory?
Posted by: Old Lurker | October 28, 2016 at 10:24 AM
From TK's link, what arrest was Mumford resisting? He was asking to see the papers which were the basis for his client being detained. And for that he was tackled and tased multiple times?
We have a lawless DOJ from top to bottom financed by a GOP Congress. Electing Trump is only Step 1 on restoring the country.

OL,
According to Bill Mitchell, raw sample for IBD has trended R last several days, but for Some Reason™ they just reweighted it to D +7.
Have not been able to confirm numbers yet, I have trouble doing any serious research on mobile.

Bill Mitchell @mitchellvii 14m14 minutes ago
So yeah, the move to Hillary in IBD is pretty much BS. Also, they continue to "reweight" poll from R+ to HEAVY D+.
Bill Mitchell @mitchellvii 15m15 minutes ago
In only 5 days as Trump surges in other polls, IBD has Trump losing more than half his black support and almost 100% of his Southern lead.
Bill Mitchell @mitchellvii 16m16 minutes ago
Games IBD playing with their Poll:
10/23: Trump 11% black vote, lead South by 12.
10/28: Trump 5% black vote, leads South by 1.

Bill Mitchell @mitchellvii 5h5 hours ago
For the 7th day in a row, IDB gets an R+ raw sample and "reweights" it to heavy D+, this time R+1 becomes D+7. Such BS.

Thanks TLG. We lose TX, then my backup plan of moving there and encouraging the secession go up in smoke.
That leaves Iceland...
Posted by: Old Lurker | October 28, 2016 at 10:39 AM
My pleasure, OL.
Here's Bill Mitchell's 10/27 interview with Helmut Norpoth, whose model correctly predicts all popular votes from 1996 onward (in real time) and retroactively back to 1912 except (arguably stolen) 1960.
Gives Trump 87% chance to win, says polls are bunk.

The "close" Texas polls are just part of the demoralization narrative. Texas will overwhelmingly vote Trump.

Apparently we now have 34500 Wikileaks messages, most IMO, showing some degree of Democrat crimes.

My guess that we could not have more "highly trained Reddit specialists" then Miss Marple and Porchlight.

You're welcome, Pagar.
The_Donald is ground zero for ears to the ground Trump enthusiasm. Has its share of noise but even that is highly enjoyable.
Seriously, it will give you much hope for the country. Mostly young, often uninformed, some dopey views on things, but is a real-time picture of changing minds.
I lost count ages ago of the number of people there saying they've never voted before/always voted Dem before/were a Bernie supporter ----> now voting Trump.
Here's an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/search?q=voted&sort=new&restrict_sr=on
