Interesting that both Mnuchin and Ross had been predicted over two weeks ago. Ross is older than dirt but really smart. Mnuchin, is of course from Goldman $achs, which is a fox I would rather leave out of the henhouse.
Delighted that Crispy stays in his New Jersey frying pan. Maybe after he loses his governorship Trump will name him ambassador to Kazakhstan.
Most of those poeple and the writer seem to be terified that as upper management or upper middle class professionals, they are not getting the respect they feel they deserve.
Those people have spent years looking down their noses at the blue collar guys, and now, when it's apparent that their attitude has caused a backlash, they are all upset and double down on telling us how stupid we are.
They are going to be wandering in the wilderness for a long time.
Judges in Dane County are lefties, in Waukesha County conservatives. Thus the change around Act 10 time to appeal of laws going to a different circuit than the trial. Plus the stakes on a Prosser v Kloppenburg recount for control of the Supreme Court.
Mnuchin's a good pick. Smart, level-headed, guy. My boss says he's o.k.
Tom Price appointment is smart politics. My people are telling me that Trump has no intention of doing anything to the ACA,Medicare or medic-aid, so he's taking on Price(who won't write legislation as a Cabinet secretary) to give the impression they're about to gut the programs. They're just going to drag their ass on the whole thing for 4 years. Smart.

Not sure what you mean by the 2.2%. I thought they missed the deadline in PA, but were going to go to court try to force the recount anyway. That's probably the most absurd of the three, since the difference is 60,000 votes, more than 1%.

Well played, Kelleyanne(with keen direction from Herr bannon), well played. Create tension within the Trump camp over the Romney pick so that when it's announced you can play up the perception that it was a difficult, controversial choice.
It was always going to be Mitt, which is why he agreed to be humiliated for 6 days.

Actually if you drill down to Rometty's actual letter, it doesn't do what this nut claims ("Your letter offered the backing of IBM’s global workforce in support of his agenda that preys on marginalized people"). It merely congratulates Trump and shares a bunch of pretty mainstream ideas related to IBM's activities. For example:
You’ve said we need to invest in America’s infrastructure, and we agree. As we build big, let’s also build smart. The country should focus on infrastructure investments that incorporate Internet of Things (IoT) technology and artificial intelligence to improve performance.
Pretty boilerplate stuff. I think this ninny was upset not because of anything the CEO said, but because the CEO didn't follow the lead of Pepsi's CEO and badmouth Trump. I'm sure IBM is saying "Good riddance."
Tim Blair documents a rash of phony "hate incidents" attributed to Trump supporters that were actually staged by the "victims." Mostly on college campuses, naturally.
As an example:
In the latest case of a faked hate crime, a 20-year-old man has admitted he made it up when he told Malden cops he was harassed by two men proclaiming it’s “Trump country now.”
I received an email on Sunday - - along with, no doubt hundreds of not thousands of others - - from the 'Trump Michigan' organization asking if I'd volunteer to be a monitor of the recount process.
Yes? Well okay then, please go to this website to register. When would you be able to monitor? A number of time-of-day options are presented.
Clearly, the Team Trump, or should I say PE45 team, don't want to be caught flat-footed.
Mish is an econ blogger and Ron/Rand Paul loyalist. His views on foreign policy can be off-putting.
He has a couple of interesting posts on Euro issues this week.
The right is surging in Austria. https://mishtalk.com/2016/11/29/juncker-pleads-no-referendums/
"European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker issued a warning to Austrian presidential candidate Norbert Hofer, regarding referendums. Hofer, an anti-immigration, candidate is in a tight race for the election coming up on December 4."
And similarly the right is surging in the Netherlands. How many times have you heard that Geert Wilders is "far right"? How many times have your heard his actual words? This post includes an extended quote of Wilders' statement to a Dutch court, the one which is hearing a case brought against him for speaking out against Muslim immigration. https://mishtalk.com/2016/11/30/multiple-simultaneous-threats-nexit-next/
The election is planned for March 15, 2017. Not sure when the trial is expected to complete.
Wilders: "..I tell you, the battle of the elite against the people will be won by the people. ... Common sense will prevail over politically correct arrogance. Because everywhere in the West, we are witnessing the same phenomenon."

The election is planned for March 15, 2017. Not sure when the trial is expected to complete.
Wilders: "..I tell you, the battle of the elite against the people will be won by the people. ... Common sense will prevail over politically correct arrogance. Because everywhere in the West, we are witnessing the same phenomenon."

buccaneer morgan @ 11:01,
Tweeting demeans the presidency, huh?
Well, I have had enough of vulgar rap singers in the White House, interviews on "Between Two Ferns", and trashy gifts given to the Queen of England, for which the Times never once objected.
They REALLY hate that he tweets. They are going to go ballistic when he starys the rallies on Thursday.

This is a good interview with Pence who was on Hannity last night:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/11/30/vice-president-elect-mike-pence-discusses-the-trump-teams-transition-progress/#comments
What has the press in a real tizzy is what Pence says: like Reagan, he will take his case to the people.

We did too, BoE. Weather radar shows a wide band of rain your way, continuing up to Gatlinburg, but just missing us.

Looks like TN is going to get a good soaking.
Lots of discussion here on Morning Joke about leaving the grassroots behind with these latest Cabinet appointments. "Two billionaires" and all.
Reince was on, said these two financiers are totally in mesh with Trump's thinking.
We'll see..

I just turned on the local news and most of the damage and deaths were west of me. I didn't realize it was quite that severe. Yikes
