And iirc Billy Dale not only was fired as WH travel office head, after service 20 yrs., so Hillary's Arkansas pals could get the job. He was also prosecuted for embezzlement, which a jury promptly found was not true. I've seen no indication Hillary ever apologized or even admitted Dale was wronged.

Sounds like Andy is still pining to give Zippy the blowjob of his life.

It pains me to say this lyle, but it sounds like Andy has *already* accomplished that act. Only someone with some sort of . . . well, let me stop right there. He made sense yesterday in terms of at least acknowledging the craziness of identity politics. But this blindness, this Obama love -- something has to account for it.

If this is the "anger" level of grief for lefties, the next stage is "reflection". I hope when some finally search for honest answers for what went wrong, Hillary's ineptitude, off-putting personal qualities, and hubris will feature strongly.

On Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry appeared before reporters to deliver a statement on the crisis in Syria. After giving his statement, a reporter asked Kerry if he had any comment on reports that Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian hacks that might have influenced the presidential election.

"Well, let me -- look, I am not going to start making comments at this point. I haven't commented on this publicly because of the job I do," Kerry told the reporter.

"I'm not going to comment on anonymous reports from intelligence officials that are not identified that have quotes around the concept of intelligence officials," Kerry went on to say, putting "intelligence officials" in air quotes.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch stated Thursday that the United States intelligence community has not found any evidence of "technical interference" on the part of the Russian government on voting machines used in the 2016 election.

The next stage in Kübler-Ross's model after "anger" is "bargaining." This explains the assault on the Electoral Vote. It should be noted that the stages are not necessarily successive nor compartmentalized. Thus, we're witnessing "angry bargaining."

Kerry went on to say, putting "intelligence officials" in air quotes.

What a coincidence. I use air quotes when I describe Kerry as the Secretary of State.

Sounds like John Fing Kerry is smart enough to know unsourced quotes are the devil's plaything. That apparently makes him smarter than the average prog, who seem to eat this crap being fed them up. And since Kerry is definitely a dullard, that does not speak will for progs as a whole.

Mrs Iggy's half sister had an abortion when just in her late teens I think.
I'm sure she doesn't suffer from depression, anxiety or low self esteem from it by any metric a head shrinker or social "scientist" would employ.
But it haunts her and remains a painful regret decades later.

My favorite line from the "ineptitude" article about Hamrod's election woes:

"Then again, according to senior people in Brooklyn, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook never heard any of those complaints directly from anyone on his state teams before Election Day."

I cannot imagine blowing $1.3 billion trying to buy the presidency. But to burn through all that cash and give a supposedly grown-ass man who calls himself "Robby" the frickin keys to the Ferrari? Inconceivable!

Hamrod must've been coughing blood when she heard Michigan was "trending" down the toilet--- because the Mookster had "never heard any of these complaints directly." She bitchslapped somebody over that one.

Every time someone lauds Hillary for bravely soldiering on, women like me are grateful we won't have to put up with that kind of twaddle 24/7 much longer, let alone suffer four years of feminist card playing. I'm rather see her behind bars, but if she wants to humiliate herself further before she retires from public life, I'm OK with that too. She won't get anything more than a few kind words from Pelosi or Feinstein, unless she starts forking money out, instead of raking it in. And after Jan. 20th it will be Obama getting the big speaker bucks.

Does it make me a bad person to visualize fondly the two of them throttling each other simultaneously as the cataclysmic unpleasantness of living with the other a-hole, bottled up all these years, finds expression in a final, tormented, Laocoon-like death struggle?

KevlarKid:

In re Syria, I'm just going to post this whole piece, because every sentence oozes Smart Diplomacy:

Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday kept up his call for Syria to accept a political solution to its civil war that has been supported by the U.S. and other countries, even after Syria has consistently ignored those plans and is on the verge of kicking rebels out of the key city of Aleppo.

"I call on the entire international community to join in exerting pressure on all parties to go forward with the process that has been laid out for some period of time now, to abide by the cessation of hostilities, and to bring the killing and the cruelty," [presumably meant an end to the killing...] Kerry said at the State Department.

But even Kerry admitted Syria has ignored those kinds of demands for years now.

"The process has not succeeded, mostly in my judgment because of the continued, constant unwillingness of the Assad regime to live by those agreements," he said. "To always press it, to always break out, to always try to gain more territory.

The U.S. was reduced to the role of a spectator this week, and watched as Aleppo fell as Russian and Syria forces were close to neutralizing anti-government forces from the city. The State Department also indicated it didn't play a role in a cease-fire that was agreed this week, and also had no role in talks between Russia and Turkey to evacuate some of the rebel forces from the city.

Both the State Department and the White House were challenged by reporters on Wednesday over what steps the U.S. would take next to help the thousands of people struggling for survival in Aleppo. But officials indicated they had no new steps to announce, and would continue to push for a political resolution of what has become a military action."

In case it's not clear, State Dept. spokesman, John Kirby, put it this way:
"The failure is in the belief that this war can be solved militarily, and the failure is on Russia for not putting the proper pressure on the Assad regime to stop the brutality, the gassing, the surrender, the starvation of their own people," Kirby said. "That's the real failure."

"The failure is on the part of the regime and its backers, including Russia and Iran, for the way they continue to try to find a military solution to what should be a political one," he said.

It really is a breathtaking remove from reality. It's not our fault; they won't accept our terms of engagement! Has the Obama administration ever formulated a Plan B for anything? They will double down on failure every time. Cue the famous Robert Heinlein quote I first heard just recently (probably here!):
Anyone who clings to the historically untrue and thoroughly immoral doctrine that violence never settles anything I would advise to conjure up the ghosts of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington and let them debate it. The ghost of Hitler could referee and the jury might well be the Dodo, the Great Auk, and the Passenger Pigeon. Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Breeds that forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and their freedoms."
Unfortunately, they frequently pay for it with other people's lives and freedoms, but what I like about the sentiment is the forthright assertion that willful blindness of Obama's sort is, in fact, immoral.
