Yes. Combined with 8 years of protection from the Obama DOJ, and the belief that this was the new norm, many of them became very careless.
Now, with the levers of judicial power in the hands of their self-avowed enemies, they are suddenly realizing that the laws the once made light of, may soon be applied to them. They should be worried.

This is cool! Queen Elizabeth at 91 years of age is still able to drive her own Jaguar, whereas our Queen Hillary, who hasn't driven since 1996, can hardly get in a car:
Hillary Rodham Clinton admitted she hasn't driven a car since her husband's first term.
"The last time I actually drove a car myself was 1996," Clinton said Monday in remarks to the National Automobile Dealers Association in New Orleans. "I remember it very well. Unfortunately, so does the Secret Service, which is why I haven't driven since then."
"I have to confess: One of the regrets I have about public life is that I can't drive anymore."
Daddy, I think she meant, that she hasn't driven since 1996, and the FUCKING SECRET SERVICE can KISS HER 2 AXE HANDLE WIDE ASS.
My boy GUS, completely understands the CONCEPT, that..........ANYTIME a LIBTARD SPEAKS....he/she or HESHE is lying.
And I mean that LITERALLY. Every sentence, claim or declaration a LIBTARD says/makes, has been parsed and designed for MAXIMUM LY-AGE. 24/7/365. It's pathological.
It's American Taquiya. (sp).
Daddy, it's the POLITICAL equivalent of "PARADISE BY THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS".
"I started swearing to my GOD and on my Mothers' grave, that I would love her for the rest of my life"
"AG Mark Herring is tasked with defending the law of Virginia in court. If Herring wanted to declare it unconstitutional, he should have tried to become a judge rather than running for AG."
Gentlejim....Hello!!, Daddy, I thought of Rodham and Huma going over the cliff when I posted. Gentlejim, the level of mental dysfunction and unbridled hate on the left was always there for all to see, it's just become completely unleashed and FASHIONABLE to be as such. HATEFUL that is.
I loved Rodhams bullshit about "Russian-Wikileaks" being one of her "downfalls". She has been coached and focus grouped to say such utter PAP. Rodham isn't smart enough to make that SHYTE UP.
Rodham is a PRIME EXAMPLE for WHY the current 2 generations of MILLENIALS and younger, have ZERO INTROSPECTIVE abilities.
Not able to see themselves as to blame or be responsible.
I've seen many many takes on the PIG...Rodham claiming to "TAKE RESPONSIBILITY" For FUX SAKE, taking responsibility requires some sort of penalty or sanction.
I've said it HERE for YEARS.
I...GUS...take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for the HOLOCAUST!!! Oh, and I take responsibility for MT ST HELEN'S global warming!!!!!
Story on Drudge about California allowing Communists to have Government jobs.
SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOZE.
Anyone ever heard of John "AL" quds Brennan or Barry Von Jug Ears Obama.
You know Gentlejim!! I'm doing well, and every battle I live is NOTHING compared to others. I hope you are well too.
I've had a stressful time at my job, BUT, The Lord has blessed me, and I should be more grateful. My life is good. Way too good to bitch.
How are you??
I'm doing well. Work is insanely boring right now, but that'll change in a couple weeks when the crazy people come back. My life is good also. I'm healthy besides my neck as far as I know. My wife and kids are also healthy as well. Bitching doesn't help, GUS because nobody on this rock is listening.
Dear Lord Gentlejim, if that isn't the truth.
I've relied on friends and loved ones, and Jim, trust me, I have MANY, to advise me on the things that I need advise.
Henry, OUR OWN Henry, is one of those friends.
I do well. I'm #1 at what I do. REALLY BIG FISH, small pond. I've talked to my CORPORATE GENIUS...."BETTERS". I've dialed 911 and asked for the FIRE DEPARTMENT. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Well the shyte is hitting the fan, and I...GUS... have job offers and options.
GentleJim, I'm a pretty basic Man, with strong work ethic and HIGH I.Q.. I'm as good a SALESMAN as exists. I have a good sized ego, but I'm relatively humble. I've come to realize, that I can make a GOOD LIVING, and be shyte upon and taken for granted...OR....I can weigh my options and offer my services to larger PONDS.
I'm tired and somewhat burned out, but I am in the drivers seat. My ONLY concern in life, is my son's future, and my beautiful wife's security.
I had a father/son hour long chat with my BELOVED SON, Saturday night. I told him to VALUE WHO and what he is. And to NEVER EVER.....SELL himself short.
I love, LOVE, LLLLLLLLLLLOVE, being a "Daddy".

Insty posts this comment from an Althouse commenter:
Brenna Gautam, a first-year law student, said that security was among the primary concerns raised by her fellow classmates on Monday on a private Facebook group for Georgetown law students: “How will this impact our peers who may be personally threatened by her father’s policies?” Ms. Gautam asked, referring to gay and transgender students, and students who are minorities.
My response would be that if anyone at Georgetown makes Tiffany Trump feel as "personally threatened" as these snowflakes pretend to be personally threatened by Trump's policies, I would sue the living s*** out of them, and the University.
Clarice, following up re: Yates and Clapper, they could claim "of course I wasn't an anonymous source, I told the person who I was and I did not request anonymity. I have no personal knowledge of how my comments were used afterwards."
Sounds silly but these people are ridiculous.
Or, they could have talked to an intermediary (fall guy) who then blabbed to the press. Grassley should have asked if they discussed these matters with anyone at all, and if so, whom.
Good Morning! I had an eye exam a couple of weeks ago and decided to get a new pair of eyeglasses. Every designer has has their logo on eyeglass frames. They aren't marketing to 60-somethings. They are designing eyeglasses to make the snowflake millennials look "smart."

Why does anyone expect otherwise? How many times do the GOPe cheerleaders need to watch their heroes take valuable time out from meeting with their cash cows to engage in toothless wastes of time that merely cement in place existing attitudes?
I can remember reading the Confederate Yankee blog long ago.
TownHall's bio -
"Bob Owens
Biography
Bob Owens is the Editor of BearingArms.com. A long-time shooting enthusiast, he began blogging as a North Carolina native in New York at the politics-focused Confederate Yankee in 2004. In 2007 Bob began writing about firearms, gun rights, and crime at Pajamas Media, and added gun and gear reviews for Shooting Illustrated in 2010. He is a volunteer in the Appleseed Project, where he shares stories of our shared American heritage and teaches traditional rifle marksmanship. He is an alumni of Gunsite Academy (250 Pistol). His personal blog is bob-owens.com, and he can be found on Twitter at bob_owens."
From Clarice's link (or the NR search function after being told the article doesn't exist):
Blaming a deer-in-the-headlights FBI director James Comey is equally problematic. His passive-aggressive pronouncements irrationally first exonerated her, then did not, then did again. Faulting the FBI for her own likely felonious behavior of sending and receiving classified communications on an unsecured server (or of Bill Clinton’s trying to leverage Attorney General Loretta Lynch on an airport tarmac) is sort of like blaming the defeat at Pearl Harbor on the Japanese — true, but hardly the whole story given America’s responsibility for its own unpreparedness
Am I the only person who thinks that's a very odd comparison?
henry, you're exactly right. One of the comments to the Watt's Up piece says it very clearly:
Australia is only doing what the UN demands of developed countries. Closing down its industry to the (temporary) benefit of developing countries thereby over the medium term bringing its living standards down to an acceptable (to the UN) level.
UN-favored nations, which at the moment are mainly the BRICS, will be allowed to continue their polluting habits until the developed world has deteriorated sufficiently. What exactly the plan is after that is still hard to discern in the mists but I’m sure there is one somewhere.
... they figured Hillary would win ..

Despite her prowess, the monarch is the only person in the UK who is allowed to drive without a license.
She is also the only person apart from park rangers who is allowed to drive down the 2.6-mile Long Walk in Windsor.
Compare that to Queen Hillary: Clinton hasn't driven a car since 1996
Hillary Rodham Clinton admitted she hasn't driven a car since her husband's first term.
Anybody believe that bilge?
Me neither.
Posted by: daddy | May 09, 2017 at 12:37 AM

GUS,
Imagine how dangerous Hillary would be behind the wheel of a car?
On the plus side tho,' imagine if she was the designated driver for Susan Sarandon and the other gal:

3 birds, 1 stone.

Daddy,
You're going to need a bigger car for all the "birds" that need to take that ride.
Posted by: Gentlejim | May 09, 2017 at 01:04 AM

That's OK to say??? Right??

Hello GUS. How you doing, friend? I asked earlier, but typhuspad ate it.
Posted by: Gentlejim | May 09, 2017 at 01:31 AM
You know Gentlejim!! I'm doing well, and every battle I live is NOTHING compared to others. I hope you are well too.
I've had a stressful time at my job, BUT, The Lord has blessed me, and I should be more grateful. My life is good. Way too good to bitch.
How are you??
Posted by: GUS | May 09, 2017 at 01:41 AM
I'm doing well. Work is insanely boring right now, but that'll change in a couple weeks when the crazy people come back. My life is good also. I'm healthy besides my neck as far as I know. My wife and kids are also healthy as well. Bitching doesn't help, GUS because nobody on this rock is listening.
Posted by: Gentlejim | May 09, 2017 at 01:52 AM
SEEMS THE COMPANY WANTS ME!!??!!??
??
Posted by: GUS | May 09, 2017 at 01:56 AM
Take care GUS. Backbto work for me.
Posted by: Gentlejim | May 09, 2017 at 02:01 AM

Insty links to an Althouse piece asking questions about Tiffany Trump going to Georgetown Law School.

So, the Obama Presidential Library Is Really Ugly
Personally I think it's modeled on one of Bruce Dern's "Huey, Louie, and Duey "bots" from Silent Running:

but I also think it'd only take a little exterior modification and a loudspeaker to sub as the Morlock Cafeteria calling the Eloi to dinner:

Better yet, If this is The Newseum:

we should call this
The Nauseum.

Janet, remember the Kentucky clerk who refused to issue a marriage license and the left was up in arms about how the law was the law and she had to do her job?
They are all about The Law when they agree with it. They break it joyfully and ostentatiously when they don't.

A bit on Bob Owens at Bearing Arms - https://bearingarms.com/jenn-j/2017/05/09/we-are-diminished/
I can remember reading the Confederate Yankee blog long ago.
TownHall's bio -
"Bob Owens
Biography

He is a volunteer in the Appleseed Project, where he shares stories of our shared American heritage and teaches traditional rifle marksmanship. He is an alumni of Gunsite Academy (250 Pistol).
Posted by: Captain Hate | May 09, 2017 at 08:33 AM
henry, you're exactly right.
