Hopefully Kushner sees what Democrats do to fellow Democrats simply for the sin of supporting an elected President of the other party. It should hit him in the head like a 5 pound sledge, but the jury is out on whether the stupid is strong with this one...

Just read the galactically ignorant column from Ben Shapiro.
I think he must still be in the hospital waiting room, anxiously waiting for the Doctor's to render their prognosis on the chances of Michelle Field's recovery from being horribly assaulted and yanked down to the floor by Cory Lewandowski.

From the last thread:
Cavuto says firing Mueller would be nuclear.
If so, suppose Trump pardons anyone charged by Mueller. That allows for the slim possibility that Mueller actually does not come up with a scalp, and if he does, it will be obvious how flimsy the charges will be, so politically Trump will be on solid ground. Of course liberal heads will explode, but sane people will see through it.

Her's the 3 premises and the conclusion of genius Ben Shapiro's argument:
The first premise: The other side, which wants bad things, cheats and lies and acts in egregious ways.
The second premise: It requires cheating to defeat them.
The third premise: If they are not defeated, the country will be destroyed.
Conclusion: It is morally required to cheat and lie and act in egregious ways.
I highlight the 2nd premise. Where in the hell does it require "cheating" to defeat them? It requires playing strong and dirty and fighting back as if you are in a life and death struggle which we are, but pray tell where is this "cheating" imagined by Ben Shapiro?

I mean, that is EXACTLY what a guilty person would say. If you asked a man who robbed a bank if he had robbed it, and he is trying to get away with it, what will he say? "No, I had nothing to do with it!" Kushner's behavior is classic deflection. I am sure that we all remember the scene from "Godfather II" where Micheal Corleone is called in front of the Senate Subcommittee. What does he do? He denies everything. Kushner is obviously as guilty as Corleone was, and I, for one, look forward to our enlightened and strictly objective press to point this out to the American public.

Before I muted Fox, Mercedes pointed out that he didn't just not reveal Russia on the form, but all of the countries. The aide filed it prematurely, that's all.
Whereupon the Politico guy said he could have been hiding OTHER connections!
So, your channeling of the media ia accurate. Also, they said Kushner was distancing himself from Don Jr!
It is a very good thing I don't live near DC. I would be going around throwing rocks at reporters and screaming like a banshee at every press opportunity.

Here is my November 18, 2016 post on Ben Shapiro, and at the end of it you tell me who "cheats and lies and acts in egregious ways."
Point 1---Has Ben Shapiro discovered yet who viciously grabbed Michelle Fields and yanked her to the ground?
Point 2---About 6 months ago Dennis Prager had on Ben Shapiro as a guest. They are good friends and you can tell Dennis cares deeply for the young man. The benign interviewer Dennis did an excellent job of giving Ben every opportunity to explain why Ben thought the election of Trump would be worse than the election of Hillary. Ben has a sharp tongue and a brain that races along at 100 miles an hour, and put his points out there, but ultimately portrays Trump as a man unwilling to denounce the KKK; as a version of Hugo Chavez; and as a non Hitler type who may wind up as a Hitler type. Here's the 30 minute Audio of that if anyone cares: Show 1454 Dennis Prager and Ben Shapiro The Never Trump Movement April 2016)
Here's my transcript of Ben's take on reality at minute 10 on Cory Lewendowski, so I use that as a sort of benchmark as to whether I accept Ben's perception of reality later in the interview.
Shapiro: Here's my fear about Donald Trump, here's my real fear. I have a couple of fears about Donald Trump. One is the idolatry of Donald Trump that I am seeing as a human being. There is a certain segment of his following that is willing to green light anything he does. I'll give you an example. Two nights ago, Trump wins Mississippi and he wins Hawaii and he wins Michigan. And his campaign manager is in the rope line with the reporters. And he grabs a reporter named Michelle Fields, he grabs her by the arm, and he tries to throw her to the ground. Right, and she reports this, right, she says that, that they try to do this. I've reported this today. Trump followers have come back with "Right, but the Press deserves this."
Ben Shapiro's take of reality and my take of reality differ from each other, but he's a big boy who can speak for himself and I welcome Dennis Prager giving him that opportunity. Personally I consider Ben Shapiro's Anti-Trumpism, like I take most of the #Never Trumper's "#NeverTrumpism" as hysterical.

On catch-up just got to this from Iggy 2 threads back:
Shapiro is full of shit.
The first premise is indubitably true.
The second is false but not in the way he implies. Nobody is advocating cheating; we're advocating stopping Dems from continuing to cheat and to do so forcefully.
The third is obviously true because their stated goal is to do just that.
And so his conclusion is full of shit because his take on the three premises is as stupid as he is. Nor is there even any backwards logic to it. How one acts is dependent on the scenario one faces. We waged total war in WWII because of the nature of our enemy.
So sophomoric it's freshmanic.

If he doesn't like President Trump, fine. If he believes the President (and, by extension, his supporters) "isn't who we are," fine. You don't have to admire or even like everyone you work with. But you do at the very least have to not publicly undermine them at every available opportunity.

I yield to no one in my disdain for the Legacy Media but... those aren't legacy cameras.
A digital single lens reflex has no film but the mirror still moves out of the way when the pic it taken, making some noise. Mirrorless cameras are apparently used by some pros in some situations.
That said, apparently there is also a noise setting on some cameras. People like it because they know they took the shot, rather than just poked ineffectually at the button.

I still think after looking at that video and carefully observing how Michelle Field's boyfriend tries to distract Cory as she quizzes Trump, that Cory could make a case that they intentionally "colluded" to obstruct him from doing his duty, and the "assault charge" was a secondary bit of "collusion" to take down Trump and Cory, and the sanctimonious "cheater" Ben Shapiro aided and abetted their dishonest effort.
That "cheater" Shapiro never apologized for that bit of dishonest aiding and abetting shows he has no problem "cheating" (ie: "cheater" Shapiro's ends justify "cheater" Shapiro's means.)

I'll wait until July 27th before I will believe Wictor, Schweikert and 0hour1.

glasater,
I left that show on last night when I went to bed. Didn't even know it was on! You are right, it is a pretty good show!

JIB,
Mirrorless digital cameras are the only way to go. No noise plus they are max lighter to pack around.
I'm checking them out because I'm tired of all the weight from the hefty lenses I use. Haven't found the lens quality there just yet but one day.. ;-)

Daddy, Paul Ryan already answered your questions re Hillary and endless list of criminals, no investigation because "that's not who we are."

Mercedes: they are honing in on figuring out that the Republicans better pass HealthCare or else fire the 52 Republican Senators.
Really? Really? How about firing the 48 Democrat senators instead?
Simply insufferable.

Sally thinks I will say, "Oh, that eans there must be a good reason." She doesn't realize we know what useless tools all of them are.

Note that Republicans control congress. It's Republicans who are spearheading the inquiry into whether Russia stole the election for Trump.

I saw the "anything but" comment, but not the context.

Re: Jeb, from Miss Marple on the previous thread:
I also would like to point out that his wife must be pretty afraid of him if she would rather risk arrest from US Customs than to actually declare the value of the items she was bringing in and pay the duty.
Yeah, I agree. Why if you're multi-multi millionaires be so damn cheap and risky as to hide stuff like that? I have no problem smuggling in Kinder-Eggs, but not $18,000 worth of Jewelry when you're hubby is the Governor and you're rich as Croesus.
