Love the multiple posts!

Miss Marple the Deplorable

I remain convinced that there is an underground group which coaches these people on how to deal with recruiters, how to game the physicals and tests, and how to approach counselors after completing basic, all in order to game the system for free surgery and medication.

The military doesn't accept diabetics, either, because their medical costs are higher and needing insulin while on a battlefield is a severe detriment to effective operations.

Comanche Voter

Trump isn't as "nuanced" as some of the snowflakes in the Senate and the House. You ask him to light a candle, he just might use a flamethrower. Get used to it.

And as Miss Marple notes there were many medical conditions (back in the draft days) that would make you 4F and ineligible for service. Flat feet or other types of foot problems meant you weren't going to be much good in the infantry.

First or Last page.

derwill, yet another adorable, irredeemable deplorable

Reposting--because I can't keep up with one thread before a new one gets posted (not that I'm complaining, mind you . . . )

One thing about the Awan case. . . They obviously have had him under some kind of surveillance since they were able to get to the airport in time to stop him from fleeing the country. Which in turn suggests that some kind of investigation has been going on under the radar. His attempt to flee might have precipitated his arrest, but they had enough of their ducks lined up get an arrest warrant in time to stop him from leaving the country--which again suggests that there has been some kind of investigation happening for awhile now.

And that what is going on surprised the Deep State yesterday--because DWS would have been given a heads-up for sure if the Deep State had known Awan was about to be arrested, and yet she didn't fire him until the poop had already hit the fan.

I posted the AP Awan article we received at the end of the last thread.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Thank you for pointing that out. I didn't even think about the time it took to get a warrant, etc.

Good points you made!

From sb's AP article:

Awan's attorney, Chris Gowen, confirmed that his client was arrested at Dulles Airport Monday. He says Awan was cleared to travel and had informed the House of his plans to visit his family before the scheduled trip.

Interesting. "Cleared" by whom?

Funny how the left in b the VNW era gamed the system to keep men out of the military note they game the v system so men can get their wedding tackle lopped and women can get a strap a dichotomy

An issue wrt trans people is that they will be "special". Since, at least, the Sixties, whichever marginalized group is the flavor of the month can demand and get special treatment, and avoid a certain amount of disciplinary action by claiming or threatening to claim discrimination.
This is prejudicial to good order and discipline.
For example, a redhead who has to be hospitalized due to sunburn because he's never been on a beach south of Seattle and isn't aware how things would go at Myrtle Beach on Memorial Day has made himself unfit for service and is subject to discipline.
A woman who gets pregnant before deployment and thus not deployable is not so subject.

To clarify some misunderstanding at the end of the last thread:

There are 2 Imran Awan's.

The blogger 0hour1 was the first to try and tie the IT guy to the Awan that wrote for CNN but has now admitted they are two different individuals.

If you you have a copy of the Larhore telephone directory you will find 30 pages filled with Imran Awan's. They are the Bill Jones' of Pakistan.

Off to Frederick's football team minicamp.

Last night, I was talking to a former enlisted Iraq Marine. Out of the blue, he blew up about Zippy for no specific reason. He wasn't too fond of muslims either.

My question. If the Awans got so much money from the Dems and stilqqlq tole elsewhere why a were they broke and decaying bankruptcies? NEver mind that they got security clearances with their financials troubles. I bet they were kicking back a it of that which is why they were overpaid for Ashton work. And because the Dems were up to their noses in this pelf they couldn't get rid of them. WHatq Qin they were working with both hObama and the PAkI a intel agencies?

Trump is pending on the WH youtube

Old Lurker

I for one will laugh my head off if Trump-Sessions turns out to be a Corleone Baptism diversion.

Not sure if anyone posted this interesting piece by Molly Hemmingway:

“One of the most shocking attempts took place in the spring and summer of last year when a group of Russians went on a lobbying campaign in Washington to try to repeal the Magnitsky Act by changing the narrative of what had happened to Sergei. According to them, Sergei wasn’t murdered and he wasn’t a whistle-blower, and the Magnitsky Act was based on a false set of facts,” Browder said. He named people who were behind this effort, including Natalia Veselnitskya — the lawyer who met with Trump campaign officials at Trump Tower — and lobbyists, public relations executives and investigators.

Here’s where Fusion GPS comes in. “Veselnitskaya, through Baker Hostetler, hired Glenn Simpson of the firm Fusion GPS to conduct a smear campaign against me and Sergei Magnitsky in advance of congressional hearings on the Global Magnitsky Act. He contacted a number of major newspapers and other publications to spread false information that Sergei Magnitsky was not murdered, was not a whistle-blower, and was instead a criminal. They also spread false information that my presentations to lawmakers around the world were untrue,” Browder said.

At no time did Fusion GPS or other operatives indicate that they were acting on behalf of Russian government interests or report it to the government by filing disclosures under the Foreign Agent Registration Act, Browder said. “United States law is very explicit that those acting on behalf of foreign governments and their interests must register under FARA so that there is transparency about their interests and their motives,” he said.

So how long before some Hawaiian judge overrules Trump's transgender decision?

Nobody will be happier than me if it is true, C.

I read Mollie Hemingway's article earlier today and found it very revealing.

I agree Maryrose

OAN (One America News) is running a decent story hourly on the Awan arrest story. They include comments from a Daily Caller story and the entire story is 10m times as detailed as the AP story that SBW tore apart earlier, but being 10 times more in-depth than that AP non-story is easy.

Here's a bit of their quite in-depth story:

Daily Caller Reporter: ...And that's the weird thing here. We saw that with the DNC as well, where the DNC didn't turn their server over to the FBI. You would think that DWS would say "I can't believe my IT guy was allegedly hacking, I want him prosecuted to the full extent of the Law." Instead, a laptop was separately seized from a House Office Building, and she is blocking the Capitol Police from reviewing it...

They are including the pic of Bill Clinton talking to that Imran Awan I posted the pic of earlier, so maybe that is the correct Imran.

matt, deplore me if you must

Nice to some jobs coming to Wisconsin. Used to be that most of Apple's product until the late 90's was made in this country and then Terry Guo came along with unlimited money, conveniently nondescript pollution control rules, and free land from the Shenzhen government. Now that one plant has 300,000 employees.

Funny, Foxconn bought the best robots the Japanese made, for whom we were their North American distributor, and copied the lot (not very well).

They are vertically integrated in most of their operations. The Wisconsin plant is window dressing, but at least it's a start.

What's the alternative, OL? That Trump is an idiot, publicly attacking a guy he could have quietly fired or got to resign weeks ago? One of the most important people, if not the most important person, in Trump's rise?

Hard to believe.

Matt, at the very least it will shine a spotlight on the abysmal Racine Unified School District (still proudly unionized) and it's inability to produce literate, not to mention numerate graduates.

If having sex-change operations is a new civil right than we could pass a Federal program funding that for all eligible citizens (Sorry, undocumented friends!), rather than mandating the burden onto private insurers and, in this case, the Pentagon.

I remember in the early 80's when the Aircraft Carrier's Doctor was offering free vasectomies prior to docking in Perth Australia for a weeks worth of Liberty, but that had a modicum of sense behind it.

One thing about the Awan case. . . They obviously have had him under some kind of surveillance since they were able to get to the airport in time to stop him from fleeing the country.

I still want to make sure credit is given to the former Marine who we read about last week, who supposedly found the hard drives and sensitive stuff that the Awan's left in the house that the Marine was now tenanting, and reportedly he refused to turn the stuff over to the demanding and angry Awan's and instead gave it to the Naval Investigative Service. He may be the only honorable actor in this entire disgusting episode, where everybody else involved, including the Judge who released Imran with an ankle bracelet, should be swinging by the neck from the highest yardarm in Norfolk.

Texas Liberty Gal

Haven't caught up on all the threads here but I didn't see this posted. Seems like the most plausible scenario on what's happening with Trump & Sessions.

Ouch... $3 billion in incentives.

--He says Awan was cleared to travel and had informed the House of his plans to visit his family before the scheduled trip.--

See, whatever is going on re the investigation into Awan, they've managed to do it behind the Dems backs--so behind the Deep State's backs as well. Because the Dems ARE the Deep State, with a little help from the GOPe.

And surprise, surprise, Trump today distracts the MSM/Dems/GOPe by setting the tranny table on fire.

Not to take anything away from what the Marine did, daddy, but I wonder if they could have recovered enough damning evidence from smashed hard drives and then gotten an arrest warrant all within just a week.

Nobody will be happier than me if it is true, C.

Posted by: Old Lurker

I don't know OL. I might be happy dialed all the way up to 11, and if it involves Egg McMuffin, don't even get me started on Miss M's quantum levels of happiness:)

Right you are, daddy. That Marine was the last thing the [synonym for scumbags] expected.

At some point I read some (confused and confusing) narrative about the hard drives that Awan left at the house. It sounded like the marine called NCIS, who took all of the computer equipment and it was in perfect operating condition when it left with NCIS. And then later it somehow came to be in the possession of the DC police who then handed drives over to the FBI, and the FBI is saying that the drives had been smashed with a hammer or other such weapon. Are these the same drives? Or does the FBI not have the stuff that NCIS took out of the house? (We need Gibbs and Fornell to hit the "halt" button on the elevator and sort this out!)

I love our alt media, but sometimes their lack of education in the writing arts shows. Does anybody else have any clearer idea of the story?

Derwill et al, here's the story of the Marine from the Daily Caller: EXCLUSIVE: FBI Seized Smashed Hard Drives From Wasserman Schultz IT Aide’s Home

Shortly after the criminal probe was revealed in February, Imran abruptly moved out of his longtime home on Hawkshead Drive in Lorton, Va., and listed it for rent on a website that connects landlords with military families.

One of the new tenants — a Marine Corps veteran married to a female Navy Officer — said he found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.”

The tenants called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and, not long after, FBI agents arrived together with the Capitol Police to interview them and confiscate the equipment. The Marine spoke on condition of anonymity because of concerns for his wife’s naval career, saying she doesn’t want to be associated with a national security incident.

“It was in the garage. They recycled cabinets and lined them along the walls. They left in a huge hurry,” the Marine said. “It looks like government-issued equipment. We turned that stuff over...”

...The Marine said Imran wanted the hard drives back so desperately that he threatened to sue the renter for stealing them.

“It was unbelievable. I don’t know where they get off thinking they’re going to sue us for items we have no obligation to hold onto,” he said.

Imran came to the house for the items “three to four times,” but the Marine wouldn’t let him enter...

...The Marine expressed disgust with the muted reaction, saying “I served in the Marine Corps for 14 years; if I downloaded files to an offsite server, I’m going to prison for a lot of years.”

He implied he’s a Democrat but said when it comes to national security “political ideology doesn’t matter.”

BTW, The Daily Caller writer of this piece is the guy who appears in the OAN News clips being interviewed about Awan and DWS.

That story about the Marine and Awan sounds just a bit too convenient to me. Sounds like part of the ongoing Cold Civil War to me inside our government. Where elements of the Defense Department, starting with General Flynn and Admiral Rogers, have clearly played a major role in saving us from ourselves.

Per WH anon, the transgender announcement is a distraction.

Certainly looks like a classic Trumpian distraction to me. Remember, the Obama directive allowing transgenders in the military doesn't/didn't even take effect until 12/1/2017.

Remember, the Obama directive allowing transgenders in the military doesn't/didn't even take effect until 12/1/2017.

Local news said that several thousand are already in active and reserves.

What gives?

Don't know which is true, TK, but that's what I read.

Anyone really believe that we have 15K trannies in active and reserves?

Posted on the last thread.

Your 3:57 pm post with the faux TANG memo from "Bush's Superior" is a howl! Thanks.

BTW, I love all the new threads and topics, TM, and appreciate what you've done to make JOM readable and enjoyable again. MAGA!

Another aspect to this Awan guy -- take a look at this tweet implicating (it seems to me) the CIA. Does the board think this is some disinformation, or is there some legitimate connection between the two (or some other intelligence service using the CIA as a fake)?

This stuff is really taking some troubling turns IMHO. A CIA guy or liaison in the State Department clearing the way for these fools but not properly vetting them? Seriously ???

This says the new rules were supposed to go into effect July 1, 2017, but Mattis delayed it six months.

So they must be talking about new recruits?

Or else some completely made up number of trannies supposedly already in the military that can now come out of the shadows?

No way it is 15K.

"Instead, a laptop was separately seized from a House Office Building, and she is blocking the Capitol Police from reviewing it..."

That should be the headline everywhere!

That has been the case for weeks, Jane. Even the righty sites haven't really been covering this story that closely for some reason.

Glad you liked it, Barbara! It was great to finally find it again. I remembered the Florida, AL address especially, but forgot about the cocaine and Pong, lol.

Just brainstorming and wondering about the Osama Bin Ladin killers, the members of Seal Team 6, who wound up not long after being on some rickety helicopter in Afghanistan and being shot out of the sky.

Alls I'm saying is I want to know what was on the DNC computers, what access did the Pakistani Awan bro's have to all that info, what did they download and to whom back in Pakistan, and if there is any evidence of that info being leaked about the time of the Seal Team 6 "accident", then I give moral carte blanche to any Seal Team member who wishes to go "rogue" in hunting down the perps both abroad and Domestic.

No way it is 15K.

I agree.

I'm driving to Carolina tomorrow and may not be able to participate tonight or through the possible fireworks tomorrow into the weekend but I wanted to stand with one of my favorites, Porchlight, against that mean duo OL and Henry:

Again, these are real world obstacles, no matter how quickly we keyboard commandos think things can get done.

Posted by: Porchlight | July 26, 2017 at 02:47 PM

Exactly right, Porchlight, including your assessment of OL bouncing between magical thinking on the one hand and total pessimism on the other (I'm ducking as I write this OL, and I can tell you that you missed DAMMIT!). I have an online friend very reminiscent of OL -- a Bama fan living in Oregon. He's ALSO impatient as all get out:

Cary, you do realize how long it took ObamaCare [to pass] right? House Nov 7, 2009; Senate Dec 24, 2009; Conf Cmte March 21, 2010. Calm the hell down. https://t.co/22VVBlcKv4

— J.B. White (@RattlerGator) July 26, 2017

This is Congress we're talking about, or federal agencies. These things unavoidably take time. Our impatience is warranted, our impatience is understandable, but this is a long, hard battle and -- in all honesty -- it is no place for the impatient who can't hang in there and fight the good fight that must be fought. Some of these comments (e.g., OL, Henry) seem completely obvlivious and disrespectful to the legitimate requirements if you're going to build a legitimate case and do battle with the deep state. It's extremely disappointing.

The President himself is impatient, and that's a good thing. But he has wisely not taken the bait tossed out by many who made a bet that he couldn't restrain himself. He has shown he definitely can while still advancing the fight and encouraging his subordinates to advance as fast as possible.

My mantra remains, faith and patience.

Andy McCarthy is my ONLY reason to go the NRO website, but he released a fine column about the Wasserman Schultz scandal today: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/449860/hina-alvi-imran-awan-debbie-wasserman-shultz-it-staffers-attempts-fled-country

the Seal Team 6 "accident"

There were some really really bad things on that hard drive for that snaggletoothed lice ridden whore to look so obviously nervous about losing control of it in a public setting. I've never seen anything like it. It would be rejected in fiction as being too implausible.

RG, CIA would imply Awans were team Egg. Which fits.

As for the "these things inevitably take time" rationale, correct. That is business as usual. Improvement comes from smashing that to pieces every chance you get. Can all Obama appointees, deal with whichever 5-10% had functions positive to the American people as needed and let the rest die on the vine while "things inevitably take time." We are in the 21st century. Time to market is everything.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Last night someone on the 0hour feed mentioned that it might have troop locations within the info. I hadn't thought of SEAL Team 6, either.

Jack, glad you caught that about the Imwar guy having a very common name in Pakistan.

Anyone really believe that we have 15K trannies in active and reserves?

Posted by: Porchlight

I don't believe it Porch, but I do know, having spent a year in the Military Recruiting racket, that when DC decides they want a certain number of Gender, Ethnic, Racial, or whatever else recruited, they remove and/or reduce the standards that other potential candidates have to pass, and they issue quotas for their new preferred variety of candidate. They do it racially all the time, they have done it sexually in the past, and it would not surprise me one bit if some directive has comedown via recruiting command to specifically fill a quota of X amount of transgender whatevers.

When things like that happen a point system is created where suddenly you are awarded huge numbers of points if you can enlist a candidate of this new preferred variety. The Recruiting commands are runoff a Competition basis that is how CO"s and XO's move on up, and how the Recruiters, whether Junior Officers or Enlisted Recruiters, and evaluated in their Annual Fitness Reports which results in promotion or non-promotion etc. It is an initially sensible idea gone horribly awry due to the corruption of the policy makers in DC.

Simply look at Joe Biden's overage and drug addicted son's basically illegal appointment as a Naval Intel Officer to see how easy the guidelines can be modified and discarded by Political folks with agendas.

Interesting. "Cleared" by whom?

The Politico hack on the Panel says that this Trump Transgender Policy has "definitely caused unhappiness at the Pentagon."

How the hell would he know? Does this stupid F*** seriously think people in the Military are walking around bummed because they're not going to have to be taking classes about Gender dysphoria anymore, or showering with women with cranks?

Honest to god, if we went back only 30 years and told people what was going to be "Conventional Wisdom" in 2017, they wouldn't believe it. Reminds of that old Bob Hope joke from 1975 come to life:

Bob Hope: “I’ve just flown in from California, where they’ve made homosexuality legal. I thought I’d get out before they make it compulsory.”

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.” People covered under the law “can expect to have great health care. It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better.” - Donald Trump

Should we really be giving people howitzers who want someone to whack their peepee off and who experience other mental problems and commit suicide at a vastly higher rate than the populace in general?
The government is trying to "get into the whole transgender thing" and Trump and Mattis are trying to keep it out of it.
If a person is suffering from some type of mental problem due to a heterosexual issue he or she ought to be bounced also.

I have always thought that transgender people suffer from body dysmorphia, similar to anorexics who, no matter how skeletal, look in the mirror and see a fat person.

Janet, You obviously didn't listen to John McCain yesterday:

McCain: ...Stop listening to the bombastic loud mouths on radio and television and the Internet. To hell with them. They don't want anything done for the Public Good. Incapacity is their livelihood...

You should just quit listening to Talk Radio, and quit listening to Lou Dobbs, and quit reading stuff on the Internet. All you need to know will be provided to you by ABC, NBC, CBS and the NYTimes, so go ahead and renew your subscription to the WaPo and get out there in the morning early before Bernie Sanders steals it.

I have two questions about the Awan clan:

1) I keep reading the wife and children of Inran are back in Pakistan. What about the 2 brothers? Where are they? Maybe Trey Gowdy knows?

2) Didn't we have a discussion about how the younger brothers were making 6 figures and were quite young? Yet they were declaring bankruptcy?

oops - one more - did they let the wife continue on with the $12,000 in cash that was in a cardboard box? Did she have to surrender it before she could leave? If not, could you or I do the same? (rhetorical)

RG - any idea what these "fraudulent diplomatic passports" Webb indicates the IT boys received? the guy's attorney states they are US citizens.

also, the Daily Caller research paints a picture of these guys doing absolutely anything - anything - for a buck. it seems likely to me, then, that they'd (a) steal and sell any info they were able to get, and (b) sell it to anyone that would pay (including Wikileaks or ISI or the Iraqi hezbollah-linked guy who gave them $100K, or the MB). i see them as actors Brennnan et al may have tolerated, rather than Agency assets per se.

“What’s making everything even worse today is because we have so much news, people get to choose where they get their news,” Boehner said, according to the Post. “It used to be we had three big TV networks, five big newspapers, and five big radio stations and whatever they said was the news. Everybody else followed what they do.”

After the hearing, Gowdy, who chairs the Immigration and Border Security subcommittee, called King's comments to Newsmax "reprehensible."

Gowdy also took offense at King's criticism during the hearing of the South Carolinian's own comments about needing a permanent immigration law solution.

"Did you hear his five minutes?" Gowdy asked a scrum of reporters about King's statement. "He took one line from my opening statement about a remedy that lasts a lifetime and lectures me about the rule of law. I was a prosecutor for 15 years."

When asked how Republicans, particularly those in leadership, can reach out to members like King and implore them to keep inflamatory rhetoric at bay, Gowdy said flatly, "You can't."

And while King has said he has the muscle to sink any piecemeal immigration bill, Gowdy scoffed.

"The number of people who have a Steve King precise ideology on immigration isn't going to be sufficient to sink anything."

"There is then a long period of maintenance following the surgery, which requires between four and six weeks of recovery.

Patients spend at least three days in the hospital and two weeks doing no activity that is in any way strenuous.

The body initially treats the vaginoplasty like a wound, meaning that dilation must be performed by the patient so their vagina does not close up.

This is done in most cases with a dildo or dilator, and for the first three weeks must be done three to four times a day for 15 minutes each time.

Daily dilation ends after week 12 in some cases, but after that the new organ must be dilated at least once a week for the remained of the patient's life.

Other doctors recommend daily dilation for the rest of the patient's life, using the largest dilator they can comfortably fit in their vagina."

So some guys in our military will be paid to stick dildos in their new gaping wounds?

Jarrett: It would be an incredible coincidence if he wasn't involved. Here you have the DNC Hacked, allegedly by the Russians. But one begins to wonder was it really the Russian? Julian Assange has always said "No", it wasn't the Russians, it not come from a country, a state, or a Government, which leads one to believe it came from an individual, and here is a guy who was allegedly uploading sensitive information to the Cloud, and downloading to a remote server, important information, apparently from the DNC and other Democrat., And DWS was clamming up, and refusing to hand over her password to her laptop, now all of a sudden doing an about face, I suspect because the Feds sat her down and said "You start giving us what we're asking for or it's Obstruction of Justice."

Don't know if I buy that last, but thought I'd put it out there as a possibility. 0hour1 or whoever did say we might get hints of stuff tonight.

Beasts of England

A TS/SCI clearance for a Pahkeestahni National? Sure. What the [redacted]. No biggee...

Beasts of England

I promise that almost everything out of the intelligence networks is also marked 'NoForn' - No Foreign Nationals. But let's not split hairs.

"They are U.S. citizens" would seem to be a pretty dumb lie, if it is.

"A TS/SCI clearance for a Pahkeestahni National?"

I always tell my kids with all this push to STEM and 'coding', use what you got, you're a US citizen, a Paki can code but he can't get a clearance. So ...WTF??
