They will be left with only a small particle of brain at this, head exploding

Shirley they can't be serious

I'm pretty darn sure Trump and Sessions can find a way to communicate. This isn't their first rodeo.

This is a pretty interesting ADN story, explaining a phone call that both Alaska Senators received from Interior Secretary Zinke, shortly after Lisa Murkowski voted NOT to Repeal ObamaCare, opposite of her previous votes to Repeal ObamaCare:

Trump administration signals that Murkowski’s health care vote could have energy repercussions for Alaska

Trump isn't going to just let Sen. Lisa Murkowski's no vote on Tuesday's health care motion go.

Early Wednesday, Trump took to Twitter to express displeasure with Murkowski's vote. By that afternoon, each of Alaska's two Republican senators had received a phone call from Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke letting them know the vote had put Alaska's future with the administration in jeopardy...

Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan said the call from Zinke heralded a "troubling message."

"I'm not going to go into the details, but I fear that the strong economic growth, pro-energy, pro-mining, pro-jobs and personnel from Alaska who are part of those policies are going to stop," Sullivan said.

The Interior secretary also contacted Murkowski, he said.

Murkowski was not available for comment.

Trump plays hardball. MAGA!

Tell me they got rid of personally and Elton, the former was the male Nicole Wallace the latter the female Joe Scarborough or something

No, duda. Because I said so.

Ben Shapiro: Why The Left Protects Islam

Why does the left seek to support radical Islam so ardently? Because the left believes that the quickest way to destroy Western civilization is no longer class warfare but multicultural warfare: Simply ally with groups that hate the prevailing system and work with them to take it down.

Shapiro is going to have another opportunity to speak at UC Berkeley. It will be interesting to see if this time California can muster up the courage to allow him to speak on the hallowed ground of this campus where in the 1960's 'free speech' became a rallying cry of the left.

June Foray who was the voice of Rocky the Squirrel and Natasha on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show has died at the age of 99. Thank you for all the wonderful cartoons for children and adults alike. Rest in peace.

I thought Sessions wanted to be on SCOTUS.

Rocky's voice really irritated me.

Fake lettuce. I wants transported $9999 to Europe in a fake lettuce

wait a minute, Rocky and Natasha were the same person? Now we do have to investigate Russian collusion!!

So what big thing happened on social media overnight? All I can find is Bannon wanting a tax increase of some sort. Nothing in the big names getting arrested department.

Wow, the Failing @nytimes said about @foxandfriends "....the most powerful T.V. show in America."

Coincidentally the reporter covering this DWS IT story is explaining everything known so far on Fox and Friends right now.

Or maybe not a coincidence.

Another Bob

MM, I'm not expecting much. Little reason to believe this won't be the next in a series of ineffective HJC investigations that it's targets will mostly laugh at.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

I find it interesting that Scaramucci said that senior people were getting subordinates to do the leaking for them.

It's also interesting that reporters have started attacking him, including Hayes of the Weekly Standard.

I think this means they are really afraid of him, which is good.

Janet the expert 🚬

Dave's 11:41 is spot on.

If Rancid Prius is a leaker, he should be happy he is a Republican, otherwise he might get the Seth Rich treatment.

The Reince as leaker stuff could mean Trump is ready to eject the GOPe from the WH. A get my agenda through or else thing.

Anthony Scaramucci @Scaramucci
Wrong! Tweet was public notice to leakers that all Sr Adm officials are helping to end illegal leaks.

I just saw on the news that Scaramucci's financial disclosure form becomes a public document 30 days after it was submitted. It is now a public document.

Scaramucci also deleted the previous tweet,

Maybe this will lead to something?

Fox News @FoxNews

.@RepMarkMeadows: There was a gov’t trying to interfere with election. It was the US gov’t trying to ensure @HillaryClinton was next pres.

Very much on point:

Scaramucci comes to his defense.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

This is the statement from Awan's attorney (who is a Clinton attorney):

The attacks on Mr. Awan and his family began as part of a frenzy of anti-Muslim bigotry in the literal heart of our democracy, the House of Representatives.
For months we have had utterly unsupported, outlandish, and slanderous statements
targeting Mr. Awan coming not just from the ultra-right-wing “pizzagate” media but from
sitting members of congress. Now we have the Justice Department showing up with a
complaint about disclosures on a modest real estate matter.

Why in the world did he bring up pizzagate in this statement? Seems to me that calling attention to that theory is the last thing one would want to do.

And just because it gives me a schaudenboner lasting longer than 4 hours, Chicago Tribune blames Madigan for Foxconn going to WI rather than IL.

So far, crickets.

WH anon is a dud, as far as I am concerned.

Take one look at Caitlyn Jenner and ask yourself, "would I want to rely on that hot mess to guard my 6?"

Old Lurker

Henry is right. The days of thinking a Congressional hearing is anything other than a red herring are long gone. They ended when cameras were placed in the rooms.

I don't think Scaramucci is coming to Priebius' defense this am - see below.

Isn't it cute how the Pollyannas think the GOP won't sell out the country?

Old Lurker

The Pollyannas are not cute anymore, Cap'n. They are part of the problem.

Speaking of Scaramucci, is there anything lurking behind this:

U.S. officials are said to be reviewing HNA’s purchase of the hedge-fund firm founded by White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, while the European Central Bank is considering a review of the company’s stake in Deutsche Bank and Chinese regulators are assessing the risks posed by HNA and other active acquirers to the nation’s financial system. Some of the biggest U.S. and Chinese banks have distanced themselves from the company. The dollar bonds of HNA Group International Co., an offshore unit of the conglomerate, are trading near record lows.

I think this means they are really afraid of him, which is good.

I hope so. I want them living in constant terror.

I see this crap every day.

I already somewhere that the Never Trumpers and GOPe people dissuading good people from joining the administration. Now it seems that articles about the government investigating the business dealings of administration employees, true or not, could well be part of the mix.

To paraphrase an Obama campaign person - don't just defeat Trump, destroy Trump.

Maybe we should add - and anyone who is foolish enough to go near him.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

LOL! Actually, I AM a Trekkie! (The clothes seem to me to be lame, however.)

There was no one more disappointed than me when the original series was cancelled. My son and I watched the cartoon version on Saturday mornings, back in the early 70's. I even went to a talk by Gene Rodenberry at Market Square Arena (which was packed) when he was trying to drum up interest in producing a movie.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

All I have to say is that if the GOPe keeps this up, they are playing with fire.

I already hate most of the Republicans for their fakery and backstabbing. I tolerate them being in office because the alternative is worse.

I honestly have no idea. Newt said last night that he was amazed no one in the House had opened an investigation since it involved House finances, theft of House property, etc.

Today is the day, not last night. Last night there was supposed to be something smaller, a lead in. Could be the Scaramucci tweet (it was supposed to break on social media first).

This morning Scaramucci is railing on Priebus.

This story doesn't have anything to do with Russia. You'd think the AG would be all over it.

Scaramucci on CNN: “When the journalists who know who the leakers are like Ryan Lizza, these guys know who the leakers are. Jonathan Swan at Axios, these guys know who the leakers are. I respect him for not telling me because I understand journalistic integrity. However, when I put out a tweet, I put Reince’s name in a tweet, they make the assumption it’s him because journalists know who the leakers are. So, if Reince wants to explain he’s not a leaker, let him tell you about himself.”

That financial disclosure statement of Mooch is publically available according to Rove on MoneyHoney AM. Says it is something anyone, you, me, the press, can get by filling out a form on-line. Can't remember exactly where he said you go but it sounded legit to me and if so, Mooch is another first-pitch swinger and that can't help finding friends but it can keep your enemies smiling.

Scaramucci this morning:

“It’s absolutely completely and totally reprehensible. As you know from the Italian expression, the fish stinks from the head down, but I can tell you two fish that don’t stink, and that’s me and the president. I don’t like the activity going on in the White House. I don’t like what they’re doing to my friend.”

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Chitown Lurker's comment about Scaramucci explains why he and Trump have an affinity for each other. Both outsiders.

This stuff is fascinating.

Also, Twitter says that Grassley is doing stuff right now against this whole Fusion GPS thing.

I will go see what I can find out.

A nice article on the state of Government Unions. https://capitalresearch.org/article/government-unions-after-wisconsin/

If Scaramucci is following the Trump playbook, which looks to me to be the case, then the misinformation is deliberately planted to get everyone talking about the error and the story thus blows up.

This morning everyone is talking about whether Reince Priebus is a leaker.

As Chief of Staff, Priebus would be at the heart of many if not all of these issues. Stories have not been favorable about him since the inauguration.

Perhaps the President wants a new Chief of Staff. Doesn't require Senate approval.

Just a wild idea, but most presidents have an inner circle, a kitchen cabinet. With all the inaction by the Congress and the sub par performance of a certain cabinet secretaries and his assistant, maybe it's time for the President to go around them all. Secretary Zinke showed how that works last night with his calls to the two Alaska Senators. I wouldn't be surprised if the President turned the tables on all of them and shook up their little trades union.

If President Trump can get an investigation going into leaks working through Scaramucci and the FBI, and follow that trail back to the known suspects, he won't need Sessions. He and Rosenstein and Mueller can play gin rummy while the President cleans up the town and makes them look like fools. Resignations would be their only way out; the public would demand it.

Birds of a feather! I escorted my younger sister to a Star Trek convention in Manhattan in, IIRC, 1974. Lost $20 bucks playing three-card Monte, back when that could buy more than two drinks at a bar. Educational, however. Also shook hands with Isaac Asimov, so good luck topping that.
