Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook announced they would turn over all the Russian-sponsored ads from the 2016 campaign. I like this:
The announcement that Facebook would share the ads with the Senate and House intelligence committees came after the social network spent two weeks on the defensive. The company faced calls for greater transparency about 470 Russia-linked accounts — in which fictional people posed as American activists — which were taken down after they had promoted inflammatory messages on divisive issues. Facebook had previously angered congressional staff by showing only a sample of the ads, some of which attacked Hillary Clinton or praised Donald J. Trump.
Let's see all the ads and find out whether Russia was winding up both sides. Back in the day it was believed Russia backed anti-fracking groups in Europe. Why not also in the US?

Considering that the NFL and NBA are basically all black leagues it is not surprising they are trashing Trump since the MFM and Zero's resistance have promoted him as a KKK-White Powerist.
He's decided for some reason to create this tension and I wonder why now?

Jack,
There seems to be some confusion on that 3.1 quake detected in North Korea this morning. We also had a flyby of North Korean territory at about the same time, bombers escorted by fighter jets.
I am not saying we did something, because I am not smart enough about weapons and military actions to know. However, it seems that this has gotten very little coverage while people have been blathering all day about the NBA and NFL.
Note also that Iran fired that missile and President Trump calls our attention to them working with North Korea.
Boy, if I had my life to live over again I would love to be an intelligence analyst! I don't know enough to look at stuff and discern what is going on!

The local Cambridge paper has some pics from the Air Show.
The sounds of the engines and the impression when the 13 Spitfires roared overhead on takeoff from the grass field was spectacular and well worth the show. That's about as close to the sensation of the Battle of Britain as a human can get these days. At times, before the Spitfires arrival, it was a tad slow as happens at these events, but the Spitfires and the grand finale was great. Four of the planes we saw today were in the Dunkirk movie, and one of the Spitfires actually crash landed at Dunkirk back during the evacuation and was reclamated and refurbished many years late---super cool! These pics don't do the show justice.
Of interest is that one of the 2 American P-51's had some engine problem that had him break off his tandem routine and come screaming in and landing with the wind at his tail. That's what immediately told me he had a serious problem, since there was a strong wind blowing and you always want to avoid landing with a tailwind if you have a choice, but he obviously had to get it down immediately so he landed at warp speed on the grass with the tailwind, and at the end of the grass runway before stopping he rolled over an embankment of sorts. He got out, the Fire Trucks rolled, but no flames, and the prop did not appear to be bent. Eventually the P-51 was safely hauled off by some tractor to audience applause.
The show went on and the Spitfires were great, but then during the finale, as we were walking thru the massive crowds for the exit and the queue for the bus back to Cambridge, the announcer said he was sorry to report that one of the Spitfires had had to land early due to some other engine problem. I suppose in retrospect that is not abnormal. Here you are dealing with 70 year old machines, still pulling multiple G' s and pushing their ancient engines hard, and you have to just be happy to have the chance seeing a one of these great creations fly, much less see a dozen of them in excellent formation.
For fun, my co-pilot, retired Air Force, had flown the exact F-15 hanging in the American Aviation Museum at Duxford. (Duxford was a military airfield since 1917 so it was obviously crucial in the Battle of Britain, but in 1943 it was turned over to our Army Air Corps as their Bomber base, so that explains the US presence on the field.) Anyhow, my copilot enjoyed the show easily as much as I did and he quipped that it's funny when you talk to these Old WW2 pilots at Air Shows---he says his F-15 boys would always say, "Man, I'd love to fly a P-51" and the WW2 P-51 drivers would always reply, "Man, I'd love to fly an F-15!".
:)
I think we all must be about 11 years old, no matter what the age of our carcass:) And FWIF the Airshow, attended by many many thousands today, was free for children. Brit Patriotism was on open display today and they are as wise as can be to allow children to attend for free and become a next generation of educated fans. I wish our Pro-Sports Teams had half the common sense and Patriotism exhibited by the Brits at Duxford today. To paraphrase the great Winston Churchill, commenting on our millionaire ingrates: "Never have so few, earned so much, for doing so little."

I'm taking the simple explanation. President Trump simply thinks it's disrespectful for athletes to sit for the national anthem. It's not strategic, but it resonates with most Americans. As far as North Korea goes, if it was a flyover resulting in a 6.6 quake inside Rocket Man's head, fine with me.

And in that Brit crowd were all the plane watchers with their huge zoom lenses for their cameras, right? Yeah, Duxford is an airman's dream with Imperial, American and The Fighter Collection. I think in WW2 they flew B-27's out of there along with 51 and 47's for escort.

Hillary Clinton’s tragic 2016 campaign faced withering criticism in the press, social media, and now, in Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’s inside account, Shattered. From my vantage point as lead pollster for the Democratic nominees in 1992 and 2000, part of the closing clutch of pollsters in 2004, and invited noodje in 2016, I have little quarrel with the harshest of these criticisms.
Astonishingly, the 2016 Clinton campaign conducted no state polls in the final three weeks of the general election and relied primarily on data analytics to project turnout and the state vote. They paid little attention to qualitative focus groups or feedback from the field, and their brief daily analytics poll didn’t measure which candidate was defining the election or getting people engaged.

Trump is a genius in creating controversy that doesn't want to be exposed to the general public.
Tomorrow on CBS, Fox and ESPN, football fans across the country will tune into not a discussion of how the Eagles running game is superior to the Giants defense but rather a full scaled one-sided debate on Trump's remarks.
I cannot think of any of the panelists who will defend Trump or his point. Why? Because, none of them are geniuses or understand the nuances of such a important discussion. Well, maybe the coach at VaTech baskedtball or the coaches at the academies (and even those the way things are going are a dead certain) does but he is in a minority.
I see this being a topic they don't understand will make Trump stronger not weaker. Its almost admitting that our product is not really worth watching because we are idiots and don't appreciate the gift of that product to my livelyhood.

Trump. Palin has as well. "We're doing the President a favor."
Like he's too stupid to know who to support.
Now, if you want to support Moore because of his Christian beliefs, that's fine. Don't come out acting like Trump is too dim to know who his friends are.

How well has trusting mcturtle. And his hand picked candidates likes burr and tills.
Now montes Bradley doesn't like either the huntress or Christine. He has a very cw view of both.

CH,
Lurking as I fall asleep, POTUS can federalize the guard anytime he wants but for this trivial exercise he won’t.

This is all I found from Gorka on Fox from yesterday:

The little weasel Foxster is the patronizing SOB.
The wide open eyeball "I just don't understand" bs line of questions.
Gorka defended Trump and trashed the swamp.

Clarice, I live about 300 yards from the old camp.
All else. Mark Murphy President of the Green Bay Packers, is not an OWNER, and he WAS a player for JACK'S own Redskins.
After he gets down "blowing me", he can then kiss my Ass.
I was at the Air Force opener 3 weeks ago. Every player ran the the distance of the field, then knelt down individually and prayed. There was an F-16 flyover, 4 jets, and no one knelt nor wore a hat. The NFL is pissing all over itself and IT IS DIVISIVE. To allow your EMPLOYEES to SHIT on the NATION THAT GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY to be RICH and FAMOUS is not acceptable. The NFL will pay dearly for this enormous FUCK UP.

The Left has been wanting to kill the NFL and college football for years now.
This kneeling stuff is a 2-fer for them.
