Scott Shane of the Charity Case NY Times covers the breaking news from Twin Falls Idaho, where Russian interference led to a four person rally in a state Trump won by 31%. Mr. Shane omits the "four person" detail, which admittedly is based on a Facebook guess, not crowd photographs or even a photo of a picnic bench with four bridge players.
However, Mr. Shane gets some interesting new details from a Facebook source (my emphasis):
The multifaceted Russian information operation targeting the presidential election had many elements, including the hacking and leaking of Democratic emails, regular attacks on Hillary Clinton by the RT television channel and the online news site Sputnik, and the creation of fake accounts on Facebook and Twitter. But the Twin Falls post is the first example to come to light of Russian agents actually trying to conjure a political rally on American soil.
Facebook officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said they had found a small number of additional events announced by the Russia-created pages and were looking for more. They declined to give examples.
The new revelations stepped up pressure on Facebook to make public more of what it knows about the Russian propaganda operations.
...
Facebook said last week that the 470 “inauthentic accounts and pages” it had linked to Russia and removed had bought about 3,000 ads between June 2015 and May this year. Though some ads mentioned the presidential candidates or the election, most “appeared to focus on amplifying divisive social and political messages across the ideological spectrum — touching on topics from LGBT matters to race issues to immigration to gun rights,” wrote Alex Stamos, the company’s chief security officer.
Now, a rhetorical question - who on the right trusts Facebook to be forthcoming about duplicitous activity involving the left? Yeah, exactly. It seems strange that Facebook's list of divisive issues includes "LGBT matters to race issues to immigration to gun rights" but no environmental issues. After all, the NY Times and others reported in 2014 that Russia was widely believed to be behind anti-fracking protests in Europe.
And Hillary Clinton herself said (per Wikileaks) this about the Russians in a 2014 speech in oil-producing Alberta:
“We were even up against phony environmental groups, and I’m a big environmentalist, but these were funded by the Russians to stand against any effort, oh that pipeline, that fracking, that whatever will be a problem for you, and a lot of the money supporting that message was coming from Russia,”
As Salon notes it is not clear who "we" are and whether Hillary is referring to Russian meddling in the US (for example, the Keystone pipeline). Russian manipulation in Europe was widely alleged so Hillary backers can insist she meant that and of course she isn't releasing the speech so we just have to trust her.
Well. If you can't trust Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg and the failing NY Times then its time to go home. And start drinking.

Also packed about 10 boxes with auction-worthy items like collectible china, crystal, vintage kitchen stuff, etc.
Then I went to the grocery. I am gong to take a break and catch up on the news.NOT

Sarah gets another question from the Press Corps to explain what she means by Comey's illegal activity
Reporter: I want to follow up on some comments you made Yesterday about James Comey. That some of his conduct likely could have been illegal. I was wondering what specifically you were referring to there because the one thing you pointed out were the memos given to the NYTimes. But those didn't contain any Classified Information and were handed over once he was a private citizen.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders: The memos that Comey leaked were created on an FBI computer while he was the Director. He claims they were private property but they clearly follow the protocol of an official FBI document. Leaking FBI memos on a sensitive case regardless of classification violates Federal Laws including the Privacy Act, standard FBI Employee Agreement, and Non-disclosure Agreement all personal must sign. I think that's pretty clean and clear that that would be a violation.
Reporter: (Garbled) to see happen?
Sarah: Thats not up to me. I'm certainly not an Attorney but I think that the facts of the case are very clear.

Next reporter.
Reporter So you do believe that the acts Comey did in leaking those memos was illegal?
Sarah: The DOJ has to look into any allegations of illegality. Whether or not somethings illegal or not thats not up to me to decide. What I've said and what I'm talking about are facts. James Comey's leaking of information, questionable statements under Oath, politicizing an Investigation, those are real reasons for why he was fired and the President's decision was 100% right which we've said multiple times, over and over, and in fact I think the more we learn the more that's been vindicated.

Reporter: ...On the question that was asked about Bernie Sanders Health Plan. In January the President in an interview with the WaPo said that he would like to see a plan that would offer Insurance for everybody and that would leverage Medicare and Medicaid that would do that. This is the president not supporting Bernie Sanders plan?
Sarah: (Big smile) I'm pretty sure that not only does the President not support it but America doesn't support it, or Bernie Sanders would be sitting in the Oval Office right now. He pushed these ideas forward during the campaign They were rejected. Not just by Americans but by Democrats. He didn't make it thru the Primary. I think thats a pretty clear indication of what America wants to see and its not a Singly Payer system.

Reporter asked a question that must be related to some earlier story or comment where someone said Hillary's book must have some lies or falsehoods in it. The reporter specifically asked about where in Hillary's book were there falsehoods, and Sarah replied something very close to this:
Sarah (Not verbatim but close) Anywhere in the book where Hillary lays blame for the loss on anyone but herself.

Obviously Prager isn't concerned about EFFICIENCY! A simple program hooking up zip codes with current station listings would be an easy thing to do. I imagine I am now going to be on Prager's email list since I had to enter my name and email address.
I am not happy about this and will remove myself from the list as soon as I get the station, which I assume will be emailed to me.

Clarice,
Allow me to introduce you to my middle sister, who cried for 2 days after Trump won. She just retired from a career in retail.
She and my brother (retired union) are the only dems. My other two sisters voted for Trump.
When all the stuff came out about Clinton and Monica, her reaction was "All men act like that." I asked her if her husband did, or our brother. "No, but they weren't in positions of power."
She thinks Hillary is smart. She thinks that Hillary is a persecuted person. She owns BOTH of her books (prior to this current one but she will probably buy that one as well.)
She thinks there is something wrong with those of us who voted for Trump. Seriously. She acts like we are alien species.
I do not talk politics with her. She so heavily identifies as a democrat that she defends Obamacare and ascribes evil intentions to any Republican, even moderate ones.
Her only news-watching is NBC nightly news unless there is something like the hurricane, and then she watches CNN.
It's very strange. I can only assume that she feels like abandoning the democrats would place her in opposition to my brother and also undermine the memory of our dad, who was a southern democrat.
It's a strange situation, because on individual issues she is fairly conservative, but Hillary is like some icon to her that she will not give up, no matter what.
My teacher sister dropped the dems when they defended Bill Clinton during impeachment. She has voted GOP ever since. My youngest sister the nurse dropped the dems when they started talking about government run health care, sometime back in the 90's.
It's like she is frozen in time.

All we would need to do is run an ad reminding the younger set of those lunches, along with photos. (There are a BUNCH on the internet.)
Then tell them that the lunches are examples of how the whole country would be run with Michelle.

Forgot to say that President Trump was shown on Fox this afternoon with a few comments on the tax plan.
1. 15% for corporate, same as China
2. Big cuts for middle class
3. No cuts for 1% and maybe even a slight increase
4. Simplification
Speculation after his statement was that this was how he would get dems to sign on. Might be. I think it's a pretty good plan. CoC will probably oppose it, but to heck with them.
I will look for a video, which will probably show up pretty soon.

Seeing comments like this at various places on web. Does this seem to be the the most likely explanation?

Wonder why two destroyers collided with lumbering VLCC’s? —
“Fox News – The majority of ships operating in the U.S. Navy’s Seventh Fleet, where two destroyers have been involved in fatal collisions since June, weren’t certified to conduct basic operations at sea related to war-fighting.
Eight of the 11 cruisers and destroyers in the Seventh Fleet, and their crew members, weren’t certified by the U.S. Navy to conduct “mobility seamanship,” or basic steering of the ship.”

Might as well call them the Diversity Division of the USN. And remember this is the team that has been tasked with shooting down Nork ICBMs during boost phase. Have bombshelter?"

What do you think about the Graham/ Cassidy Healthcare Plan?
Earlier Cassidy and Susan Collins tried to present a plan which was not voted on.

It's like she is frozen in time.
Like Miss Havisham?
Come to think of it, I can imagine Hillary locked in her mansion, with all the clocks still set at 11pm and the calendar Nov 8, 2016, cobwebs growing over the party platters for her victory celebration.
