Jim Eagle

...know s/b now....

We have a pharmacy at the Market District (Giant Eagle) grocery store

The CVS a block from the grocery store typically has one pharmacist on duty.

At the grocery store, five pharmacists during the day.

Obvious who is filling scripts.

Jim Eagle

The CVS in Southampton has 3 registered pharmacists and 3 technicians as well as someone to work the register. I have never seen so many packages of medicines waiting to be picked up. They are pumping those pills out a million a day it seems.

Also, a Rite-Aid and two independents. That's a lot of drugstores for a village of 4,500.

Ralph L

I've never seen anyone at the Harris-Teeter grocery pharmacy (Walgreens and CVS in sight), but there's usually a line at Walmart's.

Captain Hate

The sentence the military judge will impose on Tali-Bowe Bergdahl isnt about one self-centered deserter. Its about our national defense. The judges decision will decide the state of discipline on battlefields for decades to come. Bergdahl has been charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. He has pleaded guilty to both charges.

There are no mitigating circumstances

The judge, an Army colonel, is independent, as he should and must be. And this is by far the most important case of his career. One hopes he is aware that hes not deciding the future of one man who betrayed his comrades, but the state of military discipline for generations to come.

Bergdahl the man is nothing. Bergdahl the example is everything.

It would seem to me that the money being sucked out of the NFL is real, but since there is a formula on revenue that sets the level of NFL player salaries that something akin to the Sheriff scene in Blazing
Saddles is playing out real time.

Mel Brooks would never be allowed by todays SJWs to produce comedy like Blazing Saddles today. NFW

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

I have a retired pharmacist friend who puts in a day or two at a state pharmacy that fills prescriptions for state prisons in this area. They pump out nearly 20,000 per day, a significant proportion of which are female hormones. Free, of course.

I'm sure Catsmeat will be relieved, Yale English Department has been decolonized. This following her residential college name being erased from history.

The title of this thread leaves me wondering if it is now official IRS policy that when a taxpayer violates tax laws and stonewalls the Feds for several year's, in lieu of fines and jail, they will be allowed to apologize really, really sincerely.

Yeah, I don’t think so Iggy.

Dave (in MA)

Taxpayer-funded agency discriminates against taxpayers, taxpayers sue, taxpayers bear legal costs for both sides, taxpayers prevail, settlements paid out of monies collected from taxpayers, taxes collected from settlements.

The NY Post has an article up titled How Hillary Played the Press for Fools.

Well is that even possible when the Press are Fools ( in the sense of dunces who know very little ) and they willingly played along?

My youngest sister invited her foster mother and brother to her wedding,
Of course Hillary, DWS and DNC lie about the dossier.
They are wishing real hard for all of this to just go away.

OMB reports that the latest data is that the top 20% of all tax returns filed account for 95% of all income taxes collected. That number was 84% two years ago. The bottom 50% of the returns accounted for 1% of the income taxes collected.

Don't be bitching at me about all the other taxes paid by everybody; the discussion on the table is about reforms to the income tax laws.

so what was the after midnight "boom" commented on last night around 11?

Best possible tax reform would be to weight voting on basis of how much Fed Income Tax you pay.

Tag line "Who's paying for this shit?"

Only partial sarcasm:)

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Does that GDP include any of the hurricanes?

Ralph L

I thought Obama was a leveler, but he made the rich richer. In anticipation of joining them?

Miss Marple the Deplorable

This is the screen cap of the President's statement on the release of the JFK files. As you can see, they have 6 months to propose redactions on these files and they will be released as redactions are agreed upon.

Old Lurker

Simple to do, Buckeye. Just take your 1040 to the polling place and cast 1 vote for each dollar paid...

But seriously, those numbers are destructive to our system of government. Even Congress is not allowed to vote for a raise unless it becomes effective after the next election. Since 60% of spending is transfer payments to individuals, Why should 80% be able to vote for more of the earnings of 20% of their neighbors?

zero sarcasm.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

OL, because that system keeps grifters of the Uniparty in power.

Old Lurker

Ralph "I thought Obama was a leveler, but he made the rich richer. In anticipation of joining them?"

Go back and read Jim NJ's thoughts on the distribution of wealth among the quintiles of the population.

Old Lurker

Plain as day, Henry.

Actually once upon a time the voting franchise was limited to landowners, a proxy for productive cititzens.

ChiTown Lurker recommends Farmhouse Culture Kraut Krisps probiotics. However, eat only ONE serving or you will be spending a lot of time by yourself and not pleasantly.

Store locator on their web site or they are available from Amazon.

Old Lurker

Perhaps not a big deal, but I find it interesting that the "pushback" on Trump's release of the JFK files was Trump's embarrassment of the last minute objections of some in the intel agencies and their demand for more time to redact as they like.

Deep State strikes again.

AP reports that Catalan has voted for independence from Spain.

Old Lurker

I know Anon. Ah the good old days. Did you know that we used to allow only men to vote too? Tell the truth...has it not been downhill ever since that was changed?

Ducking :-)

Old Lurker

Popcorn please, MM.

Tammy Bruce frequently mentions that more women joined the poverty ranks under Zippy than any other President.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

I will be interested to see how Spain and the EU handle this.

Like I said the other day, I do not know enough about this situation nor do I read Spanish or Catalan. It seems half of the people are treating this as a legitimate nationalist movement and half are saying that the guys who want this independence are Marxists.

Therefore, other than reporting facts, I cannot comment on whether this is good or bad.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

The President has a variety of things to say this morning!

Wacky & totally unhinged Tom Steyer, who has been fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from beginning, never wins elections!

Well montes Bradley, the Argentina Catholic from a very prominent family thinks its a calaboration between Marxist and islamists.

When I was hooked up to my anti-biotic drip for 6 weeks back in 2015, I was given a probiotic 2x/day. I continue my probiotic (refrigerated) as a daily ritual along with copious amounts of whole milk yogurt.

Of course, none of that can help a back that went out of place on Monday after my PT. Off now to the massage therapist to see if I can eventually stand up straight:)

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Yes, I know he does, as I follow him on Twitter. However, for me, he's the only person I trust who is saying that, so I am reluctant to take a position.

I am unable to verify his stuff because of the language barrier, you see.

That is why I am simply reporting events.

Paul sprrry, should know better. This is about the press covering with a pillow.

Good luck to @Joy_Villa on her decision to enter the wonderful world of politics. She has many fans!

Old Lurker

I know it is murky, MM and there is a lot of history going on there...and I don't know much more than you do.

It will be no surprise to you to know that I look at such things through a lens that assumes any group which wants to throw off the yoke of distant masters so they can become responsible for their own destiny deserves the benefit of the doubt from me.

Yes. That applies to how I think of the fifty states too.

JFK Files are being carefully released. In the end there will be great transparency. It is my hope to get just about everything to public!

The Q3 GDP was above the consensus estimate of 2.6% and just below the 3.1% in the second quarter. The back to back 3.0% or higher prints are the fastest pace of growth since the 4.6% and 5.2% revised GDP growth reported for Q2 and Q3 2014.

It is now commonly agreed, after many months of COSTLY looking, that there was NO collusion between Russia and Trump. Was collusion with HC!

Miss Marple the Deplorable

That's it for this morning's tweets from the President.

Victoria Toensing was on Fox this morning saying that the witness won't be appearing for a few weeks. She said there will be agreements, interviews, and carefully prepared testimony due to national security.

Yes they annexed last time in 1714. But we don't relight the battle of culloden. Even though outlander seems eager to, the mossos (Catalan police) was nearly as competent as Dallas, if not for the imam who blew himself up, sagrada familia would be the largest attack since bataclan

Forces inside the EUtocracy (who are almost all Leftists and globalists) tend to encourage these sorts of independent separatist movements as they undermine the national state. National states, of course, resist them, or had prior to being infested with Leftists. So Spain is placed in an awkward positions here (or at least Spanish patriots inside the government). This sort of thing is a key contradiction within the EU in general, and likely to come to the fore as the EU further "develops".

The issue here is if the rest of Spain has the courage to keep together their historic nation. Leftism has taken deep root in Spain in the last generations, so we will have to see.

For my part, I am in general deeply suspicions of the results of elections like these, though Catalan has had its own identity--this predates even the Kingdom of Aragon, and even the Romans. Still one would have thought this settled centuries ago. As a general rule, when you see movements like this are usually popular fronts masking deeper Leftist intent and machinations. This was certainly the case with the latest grousing in Scotland.

You laugh, but of such things the Arab spring was made:

They had the key book about kostikov, and the shortcomings of the hart report. Thetemisie of which was in the good shepherd.

Having studied Spanish history,
I believe they should have their independence but I don’t think the Spanish government will let them.
I feel the same way about the Kurds and the people of Scotland that wanted independence.

Old Lurker

All true, SqD. That is one reason I am such a glass-half-empty person since so many roads seem to end up where the Left wants us to end up. Sometimes it seems to make sense to wish for a Big Bang so we can start over with a clean slate and then let Darwin be Darwin. In Biblical terms, that's what the great flood was all about, but of course Noah go to pick winners and losers.

Remember when they used this against the huntress, that was two governors ago

OL - no more Big Bangs, but a Big 2nd coming, a new heaven and a new earth. The lion will lie down with the lamb. I believe that longing in our hearts for things to be made right (half empty) is really there because we are not really "home" in this world but made for that perfect one to come. (Rev. 21)

:::: taking off my Sunday School teacher hat::::

JIB - sorry about your back. Did your PT do something to cause this?

I really had little interest in the JFK papers until they decided they couldn't be released yet. Now it makes me more curious.

one month ago I completed a six week regimen of intravenous infusion of broad spectrum antibiotics.

I received infusions daily for 42 days.

my doctor recommended this holistic approach to so much pharma going into the digestive tract in concentrated amounts daily for six weeks. think about it.

the packet they hung on the infusion equipment was a half liter with the concentrate being about 1/8th of the total volume. that's a tunnachit.

doctor prescribed:

-16 8oz glasses of water from dawn til dusk

-off the shelf probiotic capsules double the recommended dosage twice daily (for me that was 4 capsules)

- 4 capsules of trifala (digestive stimulant with mild laxative effect) taken at bed time.

-stop eating solid foods at 5pm and resume eating at 9a to give the body 16 hours time to cleanse and repair using vital enzymes that are also used to digest food (all hands on deck with just 8 hours set aside for digesting food--- you will drop some weight).

-avoid yogurt. most commercially available has marginal amounts of useable probiotic material in it. also, increasing one's normal intake of that dairy product will upset your Vitamin D and calcium balance. plus, there is no telling how much gmo material you'll ingest by upping your yogurt intake.

all i know. seems to work.
