Doing catch-up and just got to this from
the last thread2 threads back now:The Last Words Of Ambassador Stevens In Benghazi Have Been Revealed...
Diplomatic Security Special Agent Scott Wickland, the ambassador's bodyguard, revealed Stevens' harrowing last words:
“When I die, you need to pick up my gun and keep fighting," Stevens told Wickland.
This happened on Sept 11, 2012. Why was this kept from the public for 5 years? Why were we not allowed to know that? Who benefitted?
It used to be that that we admired famous words of American Patriots, especially if they were their last. For Instance---"I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."
So why the censorship?
"I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."
"Don't give up the ship!"
"I have not yet begun to fight!"
"Damn the torpedo's, full speed ahead!"
"Nuts."
“When I die, you need to pick up my gun and keep fighting."
Wickland's testimony:
In his testimony, Wickland admitted he didn’t know if he was going to survive the attack. He also described the heartbreaking moment he lost Stevens and U.S. State Department staffer Sean Smith.
Wickland said he saw Stevens and Smith crawling behind him as they searched for a bedroom with a window to escape out of. When he exited the window, he was alone.
Vomiting from the smoke and taking fire, Wickland climbed out of the room and pulled the ladder up.
“That's when I knew [Stevens and Smith] were dead,” Wickland recalled.

One would think so, but the following dimension might be hard to adjust.
The Government has expanded its workforce since 2008, while the Private workforce has contracted to what it was in 1978. So, when the teachers go back to work, it swamps the data with its sheer size.

Good point by a Rush listener calling in in hour 2. Caller calls in and says that he thinks the Harvey Weinstein case gives a picture into the brain of Hillary and the Left. No wonder these Leftist women always depict men as depraved, sex obsessed dirtbags. They all know Harvey Weinstein and he's their poster boy for this activity. Same as "Lying" Ted Kennedy, and "the rapist" Bill Clinton, and all the rest of them. The gals of the Left project that behavior onto all men because it's the behavior that they see from the men of the Left.
So what say we put on our JOM Hive-mind thinking caps and start listing the depraved Left Wing Men. So for starters

Ted Kennedy---Lush, drunk, murderer, serial adulterer
John Kennedy---Serial adulterer, drug addict
Bill Clinton---Rapist, sexual assaulter
Jesse Jackson---Adulter
Al Gore---Deep chakra
Bill Ayers---imprisoned a woman until she had sex with a Black radical
FDR---Adulterer

Oh darn I was answering Narc & MM on the old thread:
Narc. Softball.
Once upon a time, my two partners and I did a deal. We each made Capital Contribution of $1,000 each to form a new LLC (technically the first entity was an LP but when LLCs came along we converted). We bought up land with bank loans (Prime + 5% when Prime was 20%), converted warehouses to retail space with bank loans, then tore it all down so we could build a humongous office building on the by then valuable site with loans from a big pension fund.
Twenty years later we sold the office building and netted, here I will be vague on purpose, cash of way more than $10M but less than say $200M. Half that went to pay the taxes (cap gains rate, thank you and yes we timed the sale because the rumor was that the 15% tax rate was going up under Obama who was about to be elected) we had deferred for two decades, divided up the balance and told the accountants & lawyers to close down the LLC and make sure it was all audit-proof.
Accountant called a few months later and told us she could not close down the LLC because my two partners and I had never actually paid in the $1,000 each in Capital and that would have to be paid before the LLC went away.
True story.
Did you think ocean front houses on Nantucket fall out of the sky?

Henry,
I hadn't thought about teachers as being seasonally employed, expecting that the payroll survey would be adjusted in one way or another: add them in to June, July, and August, or subtract them out of the rest of the year. Option one I'd expect.
But then in the household survey, would teachers respond in August by saying they were not employed when they were really still on vacation? I wouldn't if I were a teacher, but I suppose there can be a fair number of teachers between jobs over the course of a summer. That many? Maybe.
Admittedly shooting from the hip in my post at LL -- as usual. However, I'd like to see if the September household survey looks like this (Employed = +906,000) every year when teachers go back to school, but I can't find that data right now.
+906,000 still seems like a big number, and I'm still inclined to give Trump some credit for it. The payroll survey would still seem to me to be the outlier, hurricanes notwithstanding. Consumer and business confidence have improved over the year. That along with regulatory relief I expect would be reflected in employment numbers sooner or later. Thought it was now. Guess we'll see.

Investigators are looking into two key pieces of evidence that seem to suggest that Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was not entirely alone in his Mandalay Bay hotel room.
The first is a cell phone charger that does not match any of the devices that belonged to the gunman.
The second is a hotel record showing that one of Paddock's key cards was used to access his room while his car was outside of the hotel's parking garage.

John Kelly's personal cellphone was compromised, White House believes
White House tech support discovered the suspected breach after Kelly turned his phone in to tech support staff this summer.
White House officials believe that chief of staff John Kelly's personal cellphone was compromised, potentially as long ago as December, according to three U.S. government officials.
The discovery raises concerns that hackers or foreign governments may have had access to data on Kelly's phone while he was secretary of Homeland Security and after he joined the West Wing.

California is becoming a parody.
A sick parody.
http://dailycallernewsfoundation.org/2017/10/06/california-can-now-jail-people-for-misusing-gender-pronouns/
The law’s effect is limited to nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, but mandates that those who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” can be slapped with a $1,000 fine and up to one year in prison, according to the California Heath and Safety code.
Known as the “LGBT Senior Bill Of Rights,” the legislation also requires nursing homes and care facilities to allow residents to use the bathroom of their choice, regardless of biological sex.

The second is a hotel record showing that one of Paddock's key cards was used to access his room while his car was outside of the hotel's parking garage.
Occam's razor would tell us that there is Zero chance that Paddock, knowing he had all those guns and tripods and amo laying around in his hotel room, would let anyone use his key card to enter without that individual being someone he totally trusted. If someone used Paddock's key card to enter the room with all that stuff in the room, and it wasn't Paddock, then he had an accomplice.
If it was a maid entering to clean his room that would be by a different key and would probably be recorded as a different electronic signal, and I am positive that Paddock made damn sure he didn't want any "Maid Sevice" while turning his rooms into an Armory.

daddy,
So, if Paddock used the card to access his room, where was his car? Was it parked somewhere else other than the garage? Or, was someone else driving it?

The story is that he planned to escape the carnage--perhaps he thought getting it out of the hotel garage would make that possible,

Very interesting article, by Luke Rosiak of the Daily Caller, the same guy who's been breaking all key Awan stories. Here's the link again:
