The Baby Bombers are bringing it on against the hapless, overmatched Astros. OK, they're up 2-0 in the 3rd and still batting, but the freight train is rumbling through the Bronx and headed for Houston. Where Verlander will choke them out in Game 6, setting up a dramatic, climactic Game 7 in which CC Sabathia can lead the youngsters to the promised land.
I love this game!

Power's claim cranks the whole unmasking game up several more notches.
Unless she is lying through her teeth [and if she did ask for hundreds of unmaskings for no legitimate purpose she has ample reason to lie] or she is describing what I presume is a bit of a felony someone else committed.
Either way her statement pretty much admits a crime [or more accurately several crimes] occurred.

I just ran a test on my iPad with the new IOS 11 update. Bummer, but I confirmed that I am unable to post pics or to do links anymore after having done this new update. I input exactly the proper symbols and exactly as I do like normal, and I verified that the exact same pics and links appeared properly on my laptop, but they will not work on my iPad.
If anyone has any ideas how to fix that or who to call I would appreciate it. Very frustrating.

That's the one, Narciso. But honestly all day it has been schizophrenic. I listen to four AM radio stations back and forth all day. The Talk Shows are all damning Hillary and Comey, but then the News Breaks come on and it's nothing but regurgitated Left Wing Talking turdpoints from a 180 degree different perspective. Then the ads finish, and back to the Shows and back to a completely different world of facts. We are living in 2 different realities. The top of the Hour and the bottom of the Hour News Breaks are reports from Blue State America, then the rest of the hour is from Flyover Country.

Don't forget who her husband is---Cass Sunstein, Obama's Regulatory Czar. Before Glen Beck went completely mental he used to call Cass Sunstein "The Most Dangerous Man In America."
Sunstein is another viscous and powerful America hating Leftist, so I doubt she goes down easy. Hell, he was probably the guy signing her name to those unmasking requests, and naturally being married they can't testify against each other.
I do think that whoever did the unmasking signatures in her name, whoever it was, was probably not a slick operator because once again remember that these guys hubris at the time was such that there was no way in the world that Trump was going to win, so there was no need to worry about hiding their criminality. A decent investigator should be able to get to the bottom of that swamp if he actually wants to.
To answer Miss M's earlier question, I nominate Cass Sunstein as the guy acting in her name to push unmasking. Since we have not heard hide nor hair from him in ages, I think he is eminently guilty in the court of Kangaroos.

They got the Ump in Left field telling the Home plate ump to change the call from a swing and a miss to a foul tip. Definitely not a foul tip but regardless they just tossed the Cubs Coach.
Total Horse manure.

Cap'n why the Cubs hatred?
Through the years they went from lovable losers to increasingly irritating and annoying pests. Then attracting dickholes like Bill Murray and Eddie Vedder cranked the hate up another notch. Finally the complete meltdown and death threats against Bartman put them in the eternal hatred category. And listening to that homo Joe Buck stroke them in last year's series added the cherry on top.
Make no doubt about it, I'm friends with some great Cubs fans. But I'm also buds with some White Sox fans, including one whose father was a Chicago Cardinal's fan (I'm old enough to remember them) who never failed to refer to the Bears as the football Cubs.
I hope I've explained myself adequately. Plus I'm in a bad mood because we won't be coming to NYC for Thanksgiving.

daddy,
I loaded 11.00 on my iPad because I need file functionality for work, but I immediately noticed Jepp loading very slowly. Since then, I've read that there are a bunch of crappy problems that have caused quick, untested releases up through 11.03 and things are still awful. May be another week or two before the bigger problems get close to being fixed. Battery life is something like half on some of the phones. Ugh.
Posted by: Man Tran | October 19, 2017 at 12:22 AM
Man Tran,
The company had us not load it for about 2 weeks as they said they wanted to run tests to ensure it didn't have glitches. They advised us last night to upgrade it so I did. Lot of distracting features I don't want or need, and as already mentioned I can no longer post pics or do links. I also noticed that just carrying it around like normal today, when I left the Library it was down to 28% remaining Battery Power. That has never happened before (I can't ever recall going below 50 percent from normal use) and I have hauled the thing all over the planet doing much more with the machine than I did today, so sadly your perception of Battery usage jibes with mine---it is now a horrendous power hog.

Here's the latest Hill story from John Solomon about Grassley requesting that Toensing's FBI Informant client come testify: Senate seeks to interview FBI informant in Russian nuclear bribery case
Here's a bit of that:
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, (R-Iowa), sent a letter Wednesday night to Toensing seeking to interview her client, saying he was troubled that the Obama administration in 2010 approved the Uranium One deal giving Moscow control over 20 percent of America's uranium supply when the FBI knew of corruption inside the Russian nuclear industry.
"It appears that your client possesses unique information about the Uranium One/Rosatom transaction and how the Justice Department handled the criminal investigation into the Russian criminal conspiracy," Grassley wrote. "Such information is critical to the Committee’s oversight of the Justice Department."
The senator specifically cited the earlier story by The Hill in his letter, saying among the issues he hoped to explore with the undercover was whether any political pressure was exerted during the probe.
Posted by: daddy | October 19, 2017 at 01:23 AM
Meanwhile, OAN (One America News) has a good TV update on Senator Menendez's Corruption and Bribery trial. Their update of Wednesday's Courthouse testimonies says that the Prosecution blew big holes in the story of the woman that Team Menendez trotted out to explain how Menendez's work was just good friendly "business as usual" goings on for her boss, the currently convicted and incarcerated Eye-Doctor.
Using a chain of uncovered E-mails, the Prosecution apparently showed her accounts to be fictional, and appeared to be building a damning case against Senator Bob.
Finally I'm optimistic about something:)

Meanwhile, this short link from Instapundit leads me to thinking that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle ain't for certain: Pilot Wave theory suggests Trumpet shaped Emdrive would have more thrust
Currently, the majority of physicists subscribe to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, which states that particles do not have defined locations until they are observed.
Pilot wave theory, on the other hand, suggests that particles do have precise positions at all times, but in order for this to be the case, the world must also be strange in other ways – which is why many physicists have dismissed the idea.
Pilot wave theory says that an object radiates a wave field, and it is then pulled or attracted to regions of that field that have higher intensity or energy density. In that way, the wave field is actually ‘piloting’ the object, hence the name.

I am so pissed: Black Lives Matter is demonstrating at Boston College over what is likely faked hate "crimes" A poster was vandalized as someone wrote in the word "don't" between the words Lives and matter. The other racist incident was a ridiculously stupid snap chat that compared slavery to a philly cheese steak. Now my son is being pressured to boycott classes over this total bullshit. Vile.
peter, welcome to the club. Defacement of the portraits of the black faculty at HLS--well, putting a piece of black artist's tape on them; nothing at all was damaged--most likely by the "activists" students who demonstrated for days after this horrible event themselves, as the perpetrators were never named, and there is video coverage of the hall where the portraits hang---resulted in my son having a diploma from there with a crest that has been declared "racist" by the school administrators, following talks with said activists, and subsequently replaced.
My son wrote and requested a new diploma, as he doesn't want to display a racist crest in his office, being the well-raised child he is,but never received a response. So, all that tuition money for a diploma he can't display without offense???
And HLS prof Laurence Tribe is still a hair-on-fire Twitter mess over the election of Donald Trump, just yesterday threatening to punch Gorka over his statement at Values Voters that he and Bannon can cause more damage as private citizens. (I thought Twitter banned people threatening violence?)
They just don't get it do they?

Roger Simon adds his voice to those demanding Mueller step down, and smacks Jeff Sessions around to boot:
Uranium One Means Mueller Must Recuse Himself from Russia Probe
Senator Grassley asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions: “What are you doing to find out how the Russian takeover of the American uranium was allowed to occur despite criminal conduct by the Russia company that the Obama administration approved the purchase?"
Evidently, not much. At least so far. In fact Sessions said that Deputy Attorney General Ron Rosenstein, who led this long-hidden investigation, should "investigate himself."
No, Jeff. You may have properly recused yourself from the Russian investigation, despite Trump's criticism, but this one is your job. You run the Department of Justice and therefore the FBI. Something is rotten as much as it ever was in Denmark. Indeed it's worse, since nuclear weapons were not even dreamed of in Hamlet's time. So don't be like Hamlet. Act now.

The more the media (Forbes is very mainstream) says, "well it was Hillary working with Russians, but Mueller is pure as driven snow," the more certain I am that Mueller is performing a whitewash of Treason in which he was a featured conspirator. Sessions entire career was DoJ and Senate. He is happy in the swamp. This unpleasantness can only mean he used his "asset forfeiture tool" for evil (which is likely), and he doesn't want to face that. So his only instruction to Rosenstein must be "whitewash faster, they are on to us!"

A very good morning to one and all. Roger Simon notwithstanding, this is a great beginning to the day out on the Faith and Patience Portico. Just in case y'all aren't putting together the importance of that twitter link MM posted, let me help you (yes, I'm looking at you, henry):
Why is Rod Rosenstein compromised or conflicted in the slightest regarding Mueller's investigation? Pay attention to the timeline: the illegal Russian activity seems to have begun around 2009, Clapper is reported to have curiously "disbanded" the intel community's advisory group for CFIUS in 2010, and the approval for the purchase was also granted in 2010. The case against Vadim Mikerin wasn't initiated by the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland (Rod Rosenstein) until July 25, 2014.
Victoria Toensing's assertion yesterday:
The information her client possesses includes specific allegations that Russian executives made to him about how they facilitated the Obama administration's 2010 approval of the Uranium One deal and sent millions of dollars in Russian nuclear funds to the U.S. to an entity assisting Bill Clinton's foundation. At the time, Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of State on the government panel that approved the deal.
Can you say BUSTED !?! She is *not* going to skate. And this last night from Jim Rickards:
Hmmmmmmmmm. So Rickards is publicly stepping out there; this will be hard for Clapper to deny or contest.
Another reminder: not only was Rosenstein the responsible United States Attorney for the case, the primary litigator of the case was Andrew Weissman, serving then as Chief of the Fraud Section, Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Maryland.
Of course, Weissman is on Mueller's investigatory team. All of this action was taken, mind you, while the officials at the top of the DOJ carefully managed (and shrouded) the damage. Prosecutor's would have certainly noticed this. Prosecutor's forced to go easy don't forget who forced them to do so.
If you think that's good for Hillary, you're crazy. Clinton, Inc. is very clearly the target, perhaps even Obama (Tell Putin I'll have much more flexibility after the elections) too, and they are in deep, deep trouble.
Trump has outmaneuvered them and everybody on Lurker's Ledge.

Hi, RG! Thanks for explaining the significance of that tweet!
Here's another shoe to drop. Linda Bloodworth-Thomason ("Designing Women" writer from Arkansas) warned democrat higher-ups about Harvey Weinstein multiple times.
https://bluntforcetruth.com/clinton-confidant-i-warned-top-level-democrats-about-weinstein/
All of this "shocked, shocked about Harvey" BS from the democrat beneficiaries of his money is simply lies to cover for their total disregard about anything except donation money and Hollywood influence.
Here's an interesting thought: What does Harvey know and IF (as I heard on radio this morning) he might be facing 25 years in prison, does he have information he would be willing to give to a federal investigator?
Posted by: Miss Marple the Deplorable | October 19, 2017 at 07:24 AM
Trump owning the downside means (it seems to me) either Rosenstein and Weissman do their job, or they go down too.
The same thing applies to Mueller. In terms of duty, the Trump Administration effectively controls all three of them right now, professionally speaking.

RG, Rosenstein is neck deep in the Uranium One mess:
a: he was lead prosecutor on the abandoned investigation.
b: he was on the committee that unanimously approved the deal
c: he approved the deal knowing the level of bribery and corruption leading to it, as well as knowing who got bribed (as in the Sec State)

I don't know if the link works if you are not a member but NYC didn't even make the top 15.

henry,
You are entitled to your opinion. As I said last night, I am not going to criticize you for your opinion.
RG and I just see things differently, and I would appreciate it if you didn't come across so harsh with your disagreement.

Most of "us" here, have known about the URANIUM DEAL and many have discussed it in past.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that the FBI and the dozens of other "agencies", didn't catch on....?????
Oh yeah, they ARE PART OF IT. It COULD NOT be more OBVIOUS. Those NOW IN CHARGE of the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA witch hunt SHOULD BE TARGETS of a REAL INVESTIGATION, and not one that bought EFFING ADS on FACE BOOK.
IT'S GETTING REAL FOLKS. Unfortunately the RIGHT has less people alarmed, than FAKE BLACK LIVES MATTER and their latest CON has PROTESTING at any given time.
There is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too much at stake right now. ...IT'S GOING TO GET VERY VERY UGLY.

This is an interesting article about cobalt, which is mainly mined in the Congo.

Several months ago Scott Adams said that Trump would position it so that people would be BEGGING him to do something, which looks to me like is well on its way.

And, another salvo is fired! (henry, you should appreciate that the FBI is listed in the suspects):

Workers of firm involved with the discredited and Fake Dossier take the 5th. Who paid for it, Russia, the FBI or the Dems (or all)?

I'm with henry.

This evening, Pres Trump attends dinner at the Kuwaiti Embassy at which UN Refugee Agency honors Melania Trump for her humanitarian efforts.
====================================
No, I don't know what her humanitarian efforts are, because she gets less coverage than the Ag Secretary, even though she is beautiful, kind, and works like a dog.

This is the largest talk-news station in central Indiana. Radio guys are on this story which should help. This is the station people here listen to for traffic and weather reports.

Btw, the BIG STORY on the John Carroll kollidge station's news feed (I think it's from the Beeb because they sound like a bunch of Limey wanks) is that Trump never sent a promised check to a veteran's surviving family.

If the Rosenstein/Mueller/McCabe/Comey/Holder/Lynch/Clinton(players to be named later) cabal is utterly destroyed, then maybe some of Trump's priorities can be put in place. Until then they are the nexus of the "resistance." What Trump's tweets tell me is we are now at the point of all or nothing. And Trump (thus humanity in this case) may well lose.

Alaskans are just trying to keep warm.

henry,
I am sure glad you weren't working on his campaign.
Posted by: Miss Marple the Deplorable | October 19, 2017 at 08:16 AM
Generally, I stand with Henry too.
My only reservation that keeps me reading RG and MM and going "you know, just maybe..." is that we're hearing about this. This sort of corruption has been around for a while and never sees the light of day. And what has come out is directly targeting exactly the right people.
Just a coincidence?
Posted by: Another Bob | October 19, 2017 at 08:21 AM
Anohter Bob, define out. Its on the President's twitter. But the media is covering it with a pillow factory. (apologies to iowahawk)
Posted by: henry | October 19, 2017 at 08:23 AM
And Chuck Grassley is a worthless GOPe asshole for not hammering Sleepy Jeff for letting Rosenstein investigate himself.
Posted by: Captain Hate | October 19, 2017 at 08:24 AM
This, however, fails to explain things like why Koskinen is still at IRS. There's much that Trump could have done by now that remains untouched.
Posted by: Another Bob | October 19, 2017 at 08:26 AM
Well, I am not going to say anything for a while. I am just going to do links. It's not worth arguing over, because sooner or later we will know what's going on.
Posted by: Miss Marple the Deplorable | October 19, 2017 at 08:29 AM
Out, in the sense that we know of it.
Sure, MSM mostly ignores (but WaPo had a surprising editorial), but that's not how news is reported anymore.
Posted by: Another Bob | October 19, 2017 at 08:30 AM
No need to get defensive MM. We're all just chatting here.
Keep on keepin' on. I'd love for you to be right.

But it's okay, you know? You can consider and embrace the possibility. Quit being scared.
Posted by: RattlerGator | October 19, 2017 at 08:47 AM
Actually, embrace the probability.
And be happy about it.
