Miss Marple the Deplorable

I don't think all of these sex charges and lefty groups destroying themselves are coincidental, and neither does this guy:

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Regarding the Bushes, I see that Jed Babbin gives him a "C" in the Washington Examiner this morning due to "legal troubles."

Babbin was the Undersecretary of Defense under HW.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Babbin gave Trump a "c". I should have been clearer.

henry

That's Babbin giving his coconspirators an "a" for effort, before the legal backfire makes that impossible.

JimNorCal

No school for the 12 year old yesterday so today falsely feels like a Sunday. But it's Saturday, time for week in pictures:

This is a perfect analysis of Sessions. I think an FBI-trained profiler could look at this man and conclude the same thing. When I look at him, I think of oatmeal.

Now, if he bursts out and starts a magnificent investigation of the Left and 'Swamp', I will eat my words. :)

joan

Oh, goodness, Henry, your 8:55 is comic gold!

I skimmed through soldatovs red web, who is a respectable expert, but even he relies on fireeye and crowdstrikes attribution in key parts of the story.

Captain Hate

Do the Bushes think we're going to ignore their eight years of complicit silence?

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

The Brookses and the Bushes and the Kristols and the rest don't find Trump repugnant because of the insults and invective.
They find him repugnant because he says in public and to people's faces what they say in private and behind their backs.

Secondarily, they are scandalized that when he got to DC he continued with his silly shtick about working for and listening to his voters instead of DC. They don't hate him because he's too autocratic but because he's not autocratic enough. Hell, he's almost democratic.
Dumb bastard just doesn't realize who's the boss.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

Thanks for linking that Jim.

Better a "Blowhard" than an elitist who doesn't keep his word and can't control his vomitus, literally and figuratively, on the world stage.

Odd, paywall at my link, but if you read it through Drudge (right hand col at bottom) you get the whole thing. Good history lesson of last century.

And on the Japanese prime minister

joan

Oh, give us Joe Biden. I'd rather Joe Biden for president and Joe Biden for veep, than a Sanders/Warren ticket.

The left may love Joe, but they kneel at the altar of Sanders/Warren.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

I cannot tell you guys how infuriated I am with the Bushes. Foro the longest time I admired that family. I wrote a sympathetic note to HW when he lost to Clinton, thanking him for his service. I stood in the cold to demonstrate at the State Capitol during the Florida recount.

I even accepted that they cared about the country and kept quiet during Clinton and Obama's terms because they felt like it wasn't helpful for a past president to criticize a current president.

All of it was a charade and they are nothing but elitist, self-serving POS who don't give a damn about anyone but their club. I am disgusted with them almost more than Bill Clinton.

Maybe they should read that article of Don Surber's I posted above: 20 people who feuded with Trump and lost."

 narcisoyea

Maybe the medicis forget Donna Brazil carrying water with Jo conason notorious slander, how Layton chokes threw everything at jeb, the Russia narrative is essentially the October surprise transliterated into cyrillic.

Old Lurker

Joan "Oh, give us Joe Biden. I'd rather Joe Biden for president and Joe Biden for veep, than a Sanders/Warren ticket."

Not sure I agree with that, Joan. The value of a Sander-Warren is that even the mindless middle might suspect they are crazy. Biden makes it too easy for them to pretend they can stay right where they are, clueless and therefore dangerous.

JimNorCal

Everyone is ocused on potential legal charges against various Dem office holders. And that's well and good.

But I notice body blows delivered to Dem constituencies like MSM, NFL, Hollywood, even the recent coverage of dysfunctional Reed College as an example of what our education system has become. One group that has not seen high profile carnage is the bureaucracy. Yet, this week's publication of a global warming document is an example that indicates unelected govt workers are likely the backbone of the "resistance". I'd bet there are lots of anti-Trump actions taking place unreported and off the radar. So I'd love to see something dramatic happen to begin the process of having them work for taxpayers, not the other way round.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

JimNorCal,

I understand, but the order in which these groups are being neutralized makes more sense. If you started with the bureaucracy, Hollywood and various media organizations would come to their defense, portraying them as "heroic whistle blowers" or something.

By the collapse in NFL revenue, the television networks are deprived of revenue that they count on. Hollywood's clout as a moral authority has been pretty much destroyed. Fake News is the "word of the year" and people are looking for other news sources.

I imagine we will see the bureaucracy beginning to be cleaned out next year. Some of the departments have already laid off people or refused to fill slots. It's going to take a little while.

Old Lurker, I read the COMMIE KILLINGS story, then I researched Abortions in U.S. in U.S. since Roe v Wade.

Returned from a biz trip to TX last night.

On 1st leg down Wednesday out of Columbus, was seated by a family with 3 kids on way to Disney.

Sat next to dad who was obviously military. Turns out he has operational command of the Air Guard refueling wing at Rickenbacker. He had just returned from Guam where unit was deployed.

He flies right seat KC-135, said they were very busy with operations in support of NORK situation. We have a 24/7 air presence in the immediate area with lots of birds in the air. Heat is cranked up to 11.

Said we have EVERYTHING we need at Guam to deal with any eventuality.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

Was wondering the same thing, Ralph, and decided to take it as intentional, probably by an editor at the expense of the underling who wrote it.

joan

OL: I'm not sure I agree with you :) -- about Biden's appeal two or three years from now. How old will he be? Mostly I'm basing my opinion of Sanders and Warren on their appeal to the youth and their ignorance of socialism. Those two are red meat to the left, hard left, young, and people who vote on what they're going to get. I think they outnumber Biden voters and conservatives.

Just my personal observation of how looney the world has turned, and how I don't think the media will ever desert the hard left.

joan

And, I should have mentioned this, but I realize Sanders' age is comparable, or even maybe older, than Biden's and I mentioned that as one of his drawbacks. But, Warren propping up Sanders is what I was thinking of -- she's a tough bitch.

Look at her tweets (let alone her performance for the Democrats) -- she calls out Trump and tells him to 'watch it, buddy.' Though, really, this makes me laugh. :)

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Ignztz,

The underling is a WSJ reporter as well as a writer for GQ, and even spoke the words on MSNBC (that Trump hadn't advocated the death penalty for the Vegas shooter).

I hear you, Joan. I just have come to see how vastly stupid and uninformed and and maleducated uncaring is such a big chunk of our population, and how hard that makes it to change direction.

Disclosure: I spent two hours at Logan Airport seated beneath a blaring CNN screen yesterday. Not only was I frankly shocked at what passes for TV on CNN, but how much the other idiots sitting beside me at the gate seemed to lap it up.

Doom.

Yes, OL, my sister and I talk all of the time about how and/or why the Democrats and their voters can actually lap up this march toward socialism. Of course, our media is totally evil and twisted and saturated in leftist dogmatism.

Klein's treatment is somewhat anonymous but it illustrates the machinations of the deep state, in ways we haven't considered.

Old Lurker

MM, does this explain our new opinion of the Bush dynasty"

Fox: "Former President George H.W. Bush says he is not too excited about "blowhard" President Trump and confirmed in a new book that he voted for Hillary Clinton.

“I don’t like him,” Bush, 93, says in the book, according to a review by The New York Times. “I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.”

In the book, titled “The Last Republicans,” the 41st president also revealed that he voted for Trump’s Democrat rival Clinton in the 2016 White House race.

The new book, by author Mark K. Undegrove, consists mostly of interviews looking back at the Republican Party over the past few decades and explores the connection between the elder Bush and his son, former President George W. Bush.

The younger Bush told Undegrove that he voted for “none of the above.”

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Old Lurker,

If Hillary had been elected, those two would have continued their "not criticizing a sitting president" pose and we wouldn't have heard a word from them, as our country was swamped with commies and corruption.

What a pair of frauds!

The Great Unmasking continues.

Frau Festina Lente

narciso, Klein's book reveals (Never)Move On as more lethal than I thought possible. The leaders present themselves as concerned, citizen SJWs while hiding the tremendous and destructive power they wield.

Let's see what hits the streets today in the name of democracy.

Old Lurker

As to the "Biggest Tax Cut in History" as drafted by Paul Ryan, I would love to see to graphics:

Using the actual income tax receipts of, say, 2016, create a pie chart of totals taxes received from indiviuals by quintiles and from corporations and from estates. So, say, seven slices. Size of the circle = total taxes received from all sources.

Then, applying the Proposed Greastest Tax Cut Ever in all of it's details to the actual tax returns from the 2016 chart... totally static, then show me the new Pie Chart. So me if it would have raised more or less tax revenue in 2016, and then what the seven slices would look like.

IF the new pie is the same size or bigger that the actual first pie, then this is not a Tax Cut at all or it is a Tax Increase.

But if the two pies are the same size, the changes in the slices will identify the winners and the loser.

Why, oh why, is that simple analytical tool available?

Ralph L

she works at vox, you expected reasonable?

I assume people with pierced septa are unemployable, even on the internet.

Momto2

The Great Unmasking continues.

Isn't that the truth, MM? I am slowly moving from disappointed into despising the Bushes. I was, like you, an ardent supporter. We campaigned like crazy and my son had a supportive op-ed published in the AJC (he was 11 years old at the time.)

Now I feel we were totally duped by the lot of them. ANYONE who would vote for Hillary is pathetic and does not love our country.

Jim Eagle

MM,

Blood is thicker than water. They didn't speak ill of Obama because unlike Trump, Obama didn't openly and publically, criticize or make fun of JEB! I believe that is where it all begins and ends.

Family's are funny that way:)

 GUS

Jack the Bush family sidled up to THE RAPIST long long ago. One again, TRUMP is RODNEY DANGERFIELD and he isn't welcome @ BUSH.....wood SIR!!!

JACK, I was thinking about H.W. reportedly voting for RODHAM. If you spoke ill of my son, I wouldn't shit on America to get even with you.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

One might wonder why Obama didn't criticize Jeb!

Perhaps it was because he knew that as the supposed (at that time) front-runner, Obama knew he was no threat to Hillary continuing the criminal enterprise.

Jack, blood might be thicker than water, but I daresay that Trump not attacking somebody because he was polite to Don Jr. wouldn't be met with much approval.

I also remember Barbara Buhs's snark at Sarah Palin. That was when I began to be suspicious of that entire family.

Lovely Miss Marple, Prescott Bush was a Senator from Greenwich CT, H.W. grew up in Greenwich and Kennebunkport ME. He attended Phillips academy in Andover, and both he and W are Yale men. ELITES.

Momto2

And for George W. to vote for "none of the above" is not a pass from me, either. Does that mean he voted for McMuffin? In my opinion, that is as bad as voting for Hillary.

matt, deplore me if you must

In a Facebook post this morning a Middlebury College history/social justice professor was outraged that an African American VMI cadet who led her on a tour of the campus was vocal in his admiration of R.E. Lee and Thomas Jackson. She wants to drive those racists from the history books.

I called her on it and called it a redwash of history.

We are in the midst of our own Cultural Revolution. Anyone who disagrees with the new narrative must be destroyed. They are silencing their opposition on campus and attempting to do so in our national discussion. Their cadres are in the streets today howling at the moon.

They are smothering the facts in favor of their narrative.

This cannot remain unchallenged.

This is worse than the Chinese Cultural Revolution because they should know better from history the intrinsic evil of the communist ideology that resulted in its complete failure.

Now President Xi is manipulating the capitalist system to destroy the West and put the Party and China, in that order, above all.

He is pillaging our technology, our open society, and our legal system to build a new empire.

And all the while his fellow travelers are doing their best to destroy us from within. They have drug GEN Kelly, an honorable man, through the mud just as they have done to anyone who opposes them.

From a rational viewpoint, philosophically, we are now truly at war with ourselves while the wolf waits for his opportunity.
