Probably it would be better to measure sales from 2 years ago when it was a foregone conclusion that Queen Curb Dive's coronation would be the end of the nation.
Christmas was (past tense; it's past midnight and the stations that played Christmas music exclusively starting on Thanksgiving have gone back to whatever boring and misnamed "adult contemporary" fare) the start of a cold snap with enough snow to be a white Christmas without screwing up traffic.
What we seem to not see is that lawfare works both ways and the left and Obama are being exposed finally plus the Trump administration have been pretty exemplary in their behavior except for Tom Price at HHS. The deep state lackeys burrowed in all agencies are watching the Trump administration like hawks and theonly scalp has been Price. They made a big deal about Zinke and Whitefish in Puerto Rico and that had no legs plus Mnuchin riding on a pentagon airplane rather than commercial. Who was he meeting on a tarmac?
Anyway do you really think Lois Lerner and Paz will be able to suppress her deposition when we have $3 million reason of tax payer funds to demand its release. If they do not release it now Judicial Watch will still come back with a Foia request which will eventually require its release.
Similar thing should occur in Henry's neck of the woods to see what Chisholm and Kennedy were up to. After all the taxpayers of Wisconsin were paying for this overly aggressive pursuit of Walker and his supporters. OI am sure Judicial Watch will be eager to assist in getting the GAB records released. Heck if all the non disclosure agreements have become passe during the metoo drive on sexual harassment so should all of the deep state shenanigans be exposed as to the goal of transparency and good governance.
Tom Price shows you what happens to a guy after twelve years as a Congressman, living in the bubble.
I'm guessing he didn't think twice about what he was doing.
I heard the other day that Paul Ryan was one of the ?fourteen? Congress critters who were going to benefit bigly from some tweak to the tax bill that was going to reflect favorably on how some real estate holdings of theirs --and Trump's--would be taxed (on NPR, natch).
But what caught my ear was the low end of what these investments were valued---in the double digit millions.
Paulie, where'd you get money like that from? Like a D, you are a life-long "public servant", right?

What's Ryan, as one example, doing with large real estate holdings? Unlike Trump, he never worked in that field in the private sector. It's an illiquid asset and not particularly good as a retirement tool compared to financial assets unless you're in a position to influence some large entity specifying how real estate is used. The NeverTrumps were all over this against DJT but were guilty of this as well? Who'd a thunk it?

ChiTown Lurker has sent me messages several times pointing out how the wives seem to be a conduit for communication and getting nefarious deeds done.
I would also add it is made harder to trace because a lot of them, particulary progressives, use their maiden names professionally, so it's not easy to find out who they are married to and what the connection is.
A lot of our screening of potential nominees for positions in the bureaucracy as well as potential candidates have wives with connections, some dubious. Our screening system is outmoded, based on the assumption that a high-level man had a stay-at-home wife. This is no longer the case.
In my opinion, wives of nominees should be required to submit answers on their connections before anyone is considered for a position.
There have been lots of hints and rumblings about this on the internet, but this is the first I have seen a corporation linked to this illegal activity.
From last thread: Using Twitter on Christmas Eve to intimidate a witness (McCabe) in a criminal investigation is not a very Christian way to celebrate the holiday.
Not only is it hilarious that Cock Curious's (another great CH nick) kneepad cheerleader is named Dick Painter but it's even funnier that he's still pretending these creeps aren't transitioning from witnesses to targets.

“O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive” the story of Google, Perkins Coie, CrowdStrike, Fusion GPS, Clinton, Soros and many other players."

They're already financing the vermin through Hezzzzzzzzbollah. Are you arguing that we should still be throwing money at those monkeys to keep them from flinging poo?
Last night narciso linked to Climate Audit's 2 part analysis of the origination of the DNC hack which demolishes Crowdstrike's report. A facebook friend grabbed the most interesting part:"From the climate audit post by an observer well versed in this sort of shenanigans:
"At his webpage, Adam Carter has eloquently ridiculed the idea that Guccifer2’s “Russian” metadata was left by “mistake”. Whereas Jeffrey Carter has stated that there is nothing in Guccifer 2’s conduct that is inconsistent with him being an unaffiliated hacker, Carter has argued that Guccifer 2 is a false flag operation carried out by Crowdstrike on behalf of the DNC (rather than a false flag operation carried out by the Russians.)
Conclusion
If I encountered a document which had been most recently modified by a user using the pseudonym “J. Edgar Hoover”, I would not jump to the conclusion that the document originated with U.S. counter-intelligence or police. If anything, I would presume the opposite – that the username was satirical.
When a document is opened in Word for no purpose other than to change the default language to Russian and change the user name to Феликс Эдмундович, I would not jump to the conclusion that they had done so accidentally or attribute the subsequent exposure of “Russian” metadata to a sort of wardrobe malfunction. I would presume the opposite: that whatever I saw was being shown to me intentionally.
To the extent that exposure by mistake is being relied on for attribution of Guccifer 2 to Russian intelligence services, it is worthless as evidence and an embarrassment to the security firms and intel community who promulgate it.
Could one picture a circumstance in which an insouciant Russian intelligent service intentionally signed their own name to the Guccifer 2 hack? Why would they want to stick a finger in the US eye so ostentatiously?
Can one picture a circumstance in which a hacker (US or eastern European) might want to misdirect towards Russia? Hackers don’t want to be caught and put in jail. Anything that they say has to be taken with one or more grains of salt. Guccifer 2 has no obligation to say things that would help him get caught. If the US intel community is convinced that “Russia” hacked the DNC, they aren’t going to look for hackers in the US Eastern time zone. At the time, there was no “Russia, Russia” hysteria and little reason for G2 to think that a little misdirection could cascade into an international incident. Or the explanation may be something else entirely.
The bottom line is that the “Russian metadata” (“breadcrumbs”) are worthless for attribution, let alone attribution at “high confidence”. I’ll survey other lines of G2 attribution separately, but they are, if anything, even worse."
Oh,I'm sorry. 1100 dead American citizens living in
unbearable conditions for 3 months and lacking basic utilities which is killing more and more of them every day.
Wretchard's Latest: Happy Winter Festival in which he somehow misses Appalled's memo that Christmas and the non existent prog war on it are now all about Teh Donald Who Stole Xmas.

For it to be Trump’s Katrina, it has to be covered first. And one of the most curious things is a press that hates Trump is ignoring Puerto Rico. It either suggests there is no there in the story, or the press is full of cheapskates, or the masters of media think there are no ratings in covering the story.
Um...no forget it. Trump heroically saved Christmas from the secularist hordes, and it was absolutely appropriate for the President to congratulate himself for being the reason for this year’s season.
$28 a month is typical Irish dole. When the UK reduced their dole all the Travellers (DuDa’s Clan) took the first ferry back to Dun Lorry.

"Duda:I think it’s 1/3 of the island with the power out, not 2/3"
O.k. 1/3rd of the Island is without power and dead people are not living in bad conditions.
It's still a disaster caused by the Trump administration's lack of compassion. The new Republican tax bill proves this by adding further pain to the Puerto Rican plight.
Uh, I think if you have any non-alcoholic brain cells you’ll realize that under a progressive administration and criminally corrupt PR electric authority they were all that was needed without Trump’s assistance in 1,100 dead.
Good Morning! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I'm a bit nervous this morning because hubby brought the dog to the vet for a check-up. When the daughter arrived, she commented on how thin the dog looked. He's been getting so much exercise here, that we didn't think much of an incremental weight loss. Hubby called from the vet and said the dog weighs 14 lbs (!) A healthy weight is 18 lbs. The vet is giving him a full work-up. I'm freaking out, because our first cairn terrier had a polycystic kidney. I can't bear the thought of Scout being sick. :(
I have to agree with Weedavey.
PR is Trump's Katrina; a natural disaster has been turned into a humanitarian catastrophe by decades of corrupt and inept local rule by an unbroken line of progs.
To remain unaccountable they then try to blame a Republican president for not waving a magic wand to instantly fix their decades of neglect and theft because...racism.
Where I differ with him is in thinking Trump will allow that dishonest prog tar baby to be hung around his neck as Bush did.
He did not save Christmas but he is the leader of the forces which saved Christmas.

Ben Shapiro listed 15 things he liked about Trump's presidency, and 14 Shapiro did not like. All 15 good things were policy decisions and accomplishments. Only seven of the 14 bad things were about his policies ... So (Trump) is getting the job done, but is noisy about it.
Good point. Duly noted.
And dismissed as irrelevant.
Or more precisely, dismissed as missing the point.
As I suspected that number is as good as a cbo estimate, yes the board of prepa and those of new Orleans levees have a lot in common, like that odious river Ray was it in at. Bernards parish? Ultimately convicted for fraud.

Guatemala will move embassy to Jerusalem
That Guatemala has an embassy in Israel impresses me. It's a small, poor nation about the size of Tennessee or Virginia.
Now President Jimmy Morales will follow President Trump's lead and move Guatemala's embassy back to Jerusalem.

Using Twitter on Christmas Eve to intimidate a witness (McCabe) in a criminal investigation is not a very Christian way to celebrate the holiday.
Not only is it hilarious that Cock Curious's (another great CH nick) kneepad cheerleader is named Dick Painter but it's even funnier that he's still pretending these creeps aren't transitioning from witnesses to targets.

The mistaken perception by the American people that Puerto Ricans aren't American citizens is what's letting the air of this controversy.
But as things get progressively worse in Puerto Rico it's getting harder and harder to ignore the growing human tragedy.
This IS Trump's Katrina....without the outrage and subsequent political damage.
For now.
