MSM has turned it up to eleventy. Desperate to discredit POTUS as this is all comes down (I am hoping, any way!!!)
Running in to the same thing from my LIV Non D partners the last two days at work that jimmy k reported with his BIL--telling me how Trump's behavior ensure no R ever wins again. PLEASE--read something, guys!
Listening to NPR on your way in to work isn't cutting it.

If somebody can post Rand Paul's Twitter Festivus grievances from yesterday in one of the easy to read formats, they make for an amusing start to this lovely day.

My husband volunteered one of his most memorable Christmas Eves just now--our first as a married couple, when we were at my parents home in Manistee, Michigan (the only year they lived there) which is on Lake Michigan and boomed during the lumbering era of the 1880s. We walked as a family of eight from the home they were renting along the snow piled sidewalks and streets(record snow that December) to the Catholic church built 100 years before, when lumber was king there. Rather European looking and ornate. It was lit only by candles. He'd been raised as a heathen, so the entire thing was rather new.

This is a video explaining Qanon. I do not go to 4chan so was unaware of some of this stuff.

Whoever this person or persons are, they have a lot of information, some seemingly bizarre.

What I want to know is if Trump's tweets really do coordinate with some of qanon's sayings, and what group has the resources to make a video like this, complete with theme music.

Has anyone here followed this? I am mystified and rather alarmed, as this seems to be a lot bigger and more sinister than the evil stuff I knew the Clinton and Obama group did.

I have no idea if this is real, a hoax, or psy-ops to frighten the Deep State.

He was the manager of the private office of Prince Turki Bin Abdullah, the son of former king Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, according to the newspaper.

I think one thing that should come of this is that Presidential libraries should be involved only with the preservation of papers and memorabilia, and there should be NO fondations attached for any purpose whatsoever.

If they want to be involved in charity work, they can raise funds for the Salvation Army or something.

For the life of me I do not understand why no one outside of conservative circles saw the Clinton Foundation as problematic, and as a huge vehicle for buying favors for donors and for the Clintons to wield influence.

I would put the Bush Foundation in that same category, although on a smaller scale. I wonder how much donations spiked during Jeb's run-up to declaring he would run, and how much they dropped after he quit the race.

As great as Reagan was and as great as his achievements, I'm forced to concede even he did not, at least domestically, govern as effectively or as boldly as Trump.
It is slowly emerging that Trump has not only declared war on the administrative state through his attacks on overregulation and winnowing out of the bureaucrats but he has decided he will choke the sick prog-state nexus that has funneled so many billions of taxpayer dollars and foreign interests' monies to the prog enemies of all taxpayers.

If he could count on a congress to statutorily help him throttle those scum, the pinko slime would be set back at least a half century in their drive to collectivize us.

Miss Marple, I watched the video on my tablet ... Couldn't get much detail. Does it answer any of the questions it poses? Like, who are the three families that (supposedly) control everything? Thx.

Clarice Feldman

Excellent, Iggy.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Extraneus,

I agree. One thing I seriously wonder about is whether they were ever really on our side, or were simply trying to steer ui to defeat while standing on "principles".

I gave my explanation on Bill Kristol a few threads ago. He destroyed Dan Quayle with his advice. He sandbagged Bush 43 by instigating the Jeffords Jump.

All the while he was skulking around DC he was stirring up conflict and distrust. He starts a magazine which STILL trashed President Trump, and although Hadley is now the editor, it takes positions which are unreasonable.

And I haven't even gotten to David Frum, Max Boot, Evan McMullin (whom I believe to be a Deep State operative) and the rest.

No, I don't want them. If they couldn't come to our side after the appointment of the most stellar cabinet in history, successful foreign policy advances, and the defeat of ISIS (not to mention tax cuts and reform) I do not want them. They are unnecessary baggage we do not need.

Win the war.
Confirm the judges.
Cut the taxes.
Control the spending.
Secure the border.
... eventually Hewitt voted for Trump. In many ways that is a more admirable vote than mine was because Hewitt really had to put principle first. I had no trouble voting. He had to hold his nose and cross his fingers.

Flake: Trump Rallies Are The ‘Spasms Of A Dying Party’

“When you look at some of the audiences cheering for Republicans, sometimes, you look out there and you say, ‘Those are the spasms of a dying party,'” Flake said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”

The outgoing senator elaborated on what he feels is a party facing an existential crisis. Flake believes the Republican platform is catering too much to “older white men.”

He feels the party is governing through “anger and resentment,” a philosophy he says is unsustainable.

Flake believes the president may alienate enough Republican voters in 2020 that he will invite a GOP challenger.

“I do believe if the president is running for reelection, if he continues on the path that he’s on, that that’s going to leave a huge swath of voters looking for something else,” Flake said.

He's not the brightest backstabber.

Bill Kristol: ‘I Was Wrong’ About The GOP Tax Bill

Tax reform won't even get a vote in Congress this year. I'd be surprised if it made it through committee in either house. https://t.co/WMJBpwKrmZ

— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) August 29, 2017
When asked by The Daily Caller about his August tax reform package prediction, he responded Saturday night in an email, “I was wrong.”

...

Kristol’s failed predictions are legendary around the beltway and often mocked. Back in 2011, The Atlantic listed some of Kristol’s worst predictions, including that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani would run for the presidency against Hillary Clinton and Clinton would win.

In 2015, Salon noted Kristol’s prediction when he said, “Barack Obama is not going to beat Hillary Clinton in a single Democratic primary. I’ll predict that right now.” Politico pointed to a few of Kristol’s bad predictions last year.

“Prediction: 2016 GOP MVP will be @Reince, who steps up, ensures open convention, saves party from Trump and produces ticket that wins in Nov,” Kristol tweeted.

Bill Kristol on Twitter, May 29, 2016, said: “There will be an independent candidate–an impressive one, with a strong team and a real chance.”

Kristol predicted one week before Christmas that Trump would fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions and replace him with now Environmental Protection Agency administrator Scott Pruitt. Additionally, He claimed Jared Kushner would be indicted and Congress would fail to avoid a government shutdown, among other failed predictions.

Critics Attack Hallmark’s Christmas Movies: ‘They Brim with White Heterosexuals’

Sugar-spun traits of “real” America dominate Hallmark’s movie plots through the year, in fact. Plots typically involve characters from or living in the mythological small towns of “real” America, melting the hard hearts of big-city folks or bah humbug grinches with their honest optimism and pure, decent values.

...

They’re centered on beauty-pageant heroines and strong-jawed heroes with white-nationalist haircuts. There are occasional sightings of Christmas sweater–wearing black people, but they exist only to cheer on the dreams of the white leads, and everyone on Trump’s naughty list—Muslims, gay people, feminists—has never crossed the snowcapped green-screen mountains to taint these quaint Christmas villages. “Santa Just Is White” seems to be etched into every Hallmark movie’s town seal.

...

“Well, as you say, overwhelmingly, they are about white people,” Holmes said. “And there have been little tiny steps. They made one this year with Alexa PenaVega and her husband, Carlos PenaVega. And they were explicitly written in the film as a Latino family. But for the most part, that’s not the case.”

“And I think the thing that’s funny about that is one of the main demographics they’re trying to appeal to – a lot of it, I would generalize is somewhat older religious people,” Holmes said. “A lot of older religious people are black people and Latino people and all of that. So it’s funny to me that they haven’t made the decision – hey, you know, we’re leaving a lot of money on the table.”

Etc.

sbw,

I think so. A lot of people do not realize that is an actual crime, apparently, including many in the FBI.

My personal opinion is that they are going to have to start with the crimes which are black and white, no political spin will work on them. This would include involvement in human trafficking and child porn, drug sales, selling weapons to terrorists, etc.

The stuff within the FBI would be spin as "defending the nation from the Russian= influenced administration."

That is why the Hezbollah drug ring is so important. It's a nexus between some of these people and drugs and terrorism.

Hillary's big mistake was staying in the limelight. People like muy daughter (who voted for her because she was scared of Trump) are continually reminded by her very presnce of how she cheated Bernie and how she is a money grubber. My daughter now hates her.

Other than those who are bound to her by criminal activities and accepting payoffs, she is going to find that she has few allies.

She would have been better off retreating into silence, where she could have assumed mythical proportions. Instead, she has remained as a continual reminder of her money-grubbing and cheating behavior.

I believe the Foundation will be targeted first, as it is the easiest chunk of corruption to understand. However, that Hezbollah drug ring will get more attentin in the new year, so Obama isn't out of the woods, either.
