Good Morning! Is Mueller corrupt enough to drop another shoe (such as indicting Kushner) on the evening before the Roy Moore election, in order to dishearten Repub Voters and make them stay home, while energizing the Left to go to the polls?

henry

Daddy, Mueller is that corrupt. the question is does he have evidence to back up an indictment?

Old Lurker

Might have exactly the opposite result, Daddy.

Beasts of England

Just heard a Doug Jones spot against Moore featuring a Charles Barkley monologue. A few items of note: he mentioned Steve Bannon by name - twice - labeling him a 'white supremacist' and the force behind Moore. He said that he should have been disqualified because of this. Barkley said he wouldn't mention the 'sex stuff' as he casually mentioned the sex stuff. Curiouser and curiouser.

Captain Hate

Seeing Barkley at the Iron Bowl is the last time I want to see or hear that simpleton.

Beasts:

In your state, a big black turnout would certainly be a goal for the Jones forces. So you push the white supremacist angle.

Beasts of England

I understand that, Appalled, but it was jarring to hear Bannon's name in that context - especially coming from the Round Mound of Rebound. Personally, when I hear anyone on the left throwing around any of the racism monikers, I know they're behind in the polls. And Jones is.

Beasts of England

On a broader note: the peeps in my state are just a little bit tired of being labeled as racist by proxy. Just a little...

I wonder. Will the Trump rally in FL Panhandle a few miles from AL get airtime on AL TV and radio in the final days before the election? I recall the Trump campaign using rallies to influence media coverage in nearby areas for the Midwest.

Also, does the Repub Party resuming funding signify Judge Moore is winning, or is it likely just the follow on of the Trump endorsement?

Rocco

The plot thickens...(i love to say that)

Barclays and Deutsche Bank declined to comment on the ties to the Clinton Foundation, and three of the four remaining banks did not respond to a request for comment. A Goldman Sachs spokesman stressed that it was not the subject of a criminal investigation but rather a civil lawsuit, and noted that most of the world's biggest corporations, which are frequently major drivers of international charitable work, have faced lawsuits and investigations at times.

I boldly agree, Captain.

I don't know if Trump needs to do any campaigning on the ground, JimNorCal. His sound bites are all I've heard in Moore's latest, and likely final, radio spots. They're very good, and Trump is still well-loved around these parts.

No, OL, I'm not. They're certainly changing politics in Central Florida -- especially Osceola County. But Trump is the transformative event, not the hurricanes, etc.

More than a few held off on voting for Trump but will certainly do so next time around. Rick Scott, a man the left in Florida loved to hate on about the way the national folks did with Trump, is likely going to win the Senate seat from Bill Nelson.

The Democrats believe they have successfully helicoptered in Bob Graham's daughter to win the Governorship. I don't think that's going to work in the Age of Trump.

Finally -- I suspect many of those Puerto Ricans will be open to persuasion. We as Republicans need to fight for their votes but not in a special way. In a straightforward, standard way (I feel the same about black voters). We likely won't get a majority; all we need, however, is a healthy percentage.

They certainly made Houston bluer, we shall see:

RG,

I'm sorry about your Mom, I hope it's a very easy ride.

I was lucky enough to see Mr & Mrs Marlene and Scout today. Eat your hearts out JOMers!

IMO we are now down to timing. Trump - or more appropriately, Sessions has to fire Mueller, for cause. And he has to outline all the ridiculous biased and ridiculous things they have ignored, and they are now harping on. He's got to do a speech to explain how the American people no longer trust the FBI, DOJ, IRS and other institutions that we have always trusted, and he has to drain the swamp so we don't end up like Cuba.

Timing is everything.

JimNorCal

Still enjoying "Game of Thrones" account of the 2016 election contest and can't believe no one here has read it???

Someone (marlene?) asked for a progress report or something? I'll give two. Here's a humorous snip showing how the media uncritically bought into every utterance from the Hillary campaign.

"Just days before the election, Donald Trump visited Minnesota and Wisconsin. A Republican had not won Minnesota since 1972. Even Ronald Reagan's landslide in 1984, which took every other state in the union, could not budge Democratic legends like Walter Mondale and Hubert Humphrey. Professional politician were chuckling, some openly mocking Trump. Amateur hour. One pundit called the Trump campaign guilty of political malpractice.

While Trump was busy chasing what the Clinton campaign saw as a lost cause in Wisconsin and Michigan, the interim chairwoman of the DNC, Donna Brazile, was spending millions of dollars finding new voters in Chicago and New Orleans. (me: there follows a description of the motivation for this: IL was a lock for Clinton and LA could not be won, BUT the Dems wanted to run up popular vote totals by targetting black communities in these two states although it would have no effect on the Electoral College) ... (W)hile the national media and political observers chuckled about Trump's outreach to Wisconsin, their heads were positively spinning at the thoroughness and genius of Hillary Clinton's team and the last-minute money pouring into Chicago and New Orleans."

Frau Aufmarsch

Rosenstein who appointed Mueller and gave him his job description could also stop the merry-go-round, couldn't he?

btw How did Queasy know-know Mueller would be the SC? I guess Rosenstein will have to be given truth serum...or be tossed from his cushy job, have his wife and family threatened, his house endangered, and hit with legal fees only Daddy Soros could pay without blinking.

Rush explains Pelosi's bizarre tweet - the tax bill eliminates deductions for state/local taxes. "I’ve mentioned this two or three times. But to these people — to the Democrats in California, New York, Illinois, Connecticut — wherever you have exorbitantly high state personal income tax rates"

IL and CT are already #1-#2 in states whose residents a Pew survey found would leave if they could. Iirc TX, FL, and SC are top destinations. With Puerto Ricans pouring into FL, I hope the deluge doesn't reach GA.

Here's another quick report on "Game of Thorns" by historian Doug Wead. In order to give background on the Clintons for newer voters he provides a "brief" summary of Clinton scandals.

It runs 90 pages and multiple chapters, LOL.

Here's a related passage. Do you remember any of this being offered to the public during the campaign? I don't.

"The women claimed that their car tires were shot out by nail guns. That strangers met them on the jogging path, calling out the names of their children. That the postman and others in their small towns warned of creepy-looking people asking about them around the neighborhood. Car windows were shot out from the inside of one of the cars, with the spent shotgun shells inside, lying on the floor. A beloved cat went missing, and a few weeks later a torched cat's skull was found on a front porch.
More troubling and relevant for the FBI were the stories of strangers who offered the women federal jobs if they would keep quiet. And when they declined to take the bribes and insisted on testifying truthfully under oath against the president, they would subsequently be fired from the jobs they had. When inquiries were made, the bosses of the women who had been fired would admit to outside pressure.
Many of the women, including Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick, were audited by the IRS for the first time in their lives."

Old Lurker

Deb, I keep hearing politician rocket scientists from those stupid states misstate the change as "until now, citizens in our states could deduct their S&L & Property taxes from their Federal Taxes..."

At the top of the article:

“FBI site blocked all the information about him,” reads a Google response to a search conducted of the FBI website for Peter Strzok, the embattled FBI agent.

At the bottom of the article:

Update: A spokesman for the FBI contacted The Daily Caller after this article was published to say that the bureau did not block information about Strzok from the bureau’s website.

So, is Google helping the FBI all on its own?
