It was apparently Bernie Sanders and Ron Wyden who brought the change in 529 plans involving homeschoolers to the attention of the senate parliamentarian as a rule violation. So 529 plans can now be used for K-12 expenses if they are for a private or parochial school.

If anyone wants to know my thoughts on this, money following the child in any capacity binds the school to certain criteria that are out of sight of parents and usually imposed by the accreditors. Cruz's original amendment would have essentially taken out all ports in the storm. Does he know that? probably as heritage and nhsld had reps at the Rome conference set up by unesco a few years ago to bring home schooling under the broader learning standards template globally.

Cruz was also a listed speaker at the bipartisan leadership conference Convergence held that had plenty of speakers from soros entities too. I think that was december 2015.

That Politico article is interesting for another reason besides the perfidy of the Obama Administration's actions.

By publishing it, it indicates to me that there is worse stuff, that Politico has caught word of it through their contacts, and they realize they don't want to be hitched to the losing and possibly treasonous side.

President Trump isn't going to be impeached. By spring he will be extremely popular due to people seeing the money back in their pockets, and jobs will be available almost everywhere.

German investment in the US is expected to rise by €39 billion because of lower US corporate taxes.

While Americans are anxiously awaiting full details of the tax bill now being finalized in Congress, German economists are warning that the changes sought by President Donald Trump mean that significant amounts of new investment and jobs will shift from Europe to the United States.

“The tax competition will have a new dimension,” said Christoph Spengel, chairman of the corporate tax department at the University of Mannheim. Mr. Spengel, who is also a research associate at the Center for European Economic Research, and a group of tax experts at the university have done a detailed comparison of the two countries’ tax systems and published a report under the heading, “Germany loses out in US tax reform.”

Clemens Fuest, who heads the Ifo economic think tank, also said he believed German business would suffer. “Investments and jobs will migrate to the US,” he said.
