The failing NY Times has a simplified tax impact estimator for their Blue-state readers. We have also found video of a typical progressive Upper West Sider contemplating the loss of state and local tax deductions yet taking pride in the knowledge that more money for the government means more money for the more deserving.
MORE: CNN has a calculator with slightly different results and far less cool output.

Miss Marple,
Wouldn't that be the icing on the cake that ties it all together with the Uranium -1 Awan Bro's Rent-a-Car Hezbollah drug running Iranian Deal FUSION/GPS fake Dossier Russian/Trump Collusion Tarmac FISA unmasking scam GATE. If we just tied together the first letters it'd be longer than that LGBTQXYZ moniker they use in Canada to un-teach boys how to be boys.

SERIOUSLY: READ WHO THIS CLOWN IS. READ THE NONSENSICAL PAP of WHOM THESE CLOWNS ARE. SERIOUSLY. Who pays for this GARBAGE. PLEASE, DO ME A FAVOR and read who this FUKWAD is.
David J. Kramer was born in Malden, Massachusetts in December 1964. He grew up in Middleborough, Massachusetts where he studied Russian in high school. He was educated at Tufts University, receiving his B.A. in Soviet Studies and Political Science in 1986. His advisor there was Sally Terry. Kramer then went on to get his M.A. in Soviet Studies in 1988 at Harvard University.
In 1983 Kramer and his parents traveled to the Soviet Union to meet a relative who was still living in Latvia [2]. He continued to make trips back to Latvia to visit family starting in 1992.
After university, Kramer was a Lecturer in Russian Studies at Clark University, a Teaching Fellow for Adam Ulam at Harvard University, and a consultant for Arthur D Little in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was an analyst for The Christian Science Monitor Network.
In 1990 Kramer, his brother Mark Kramer, Nicholas Daniloff, Natalie Rumer, and other associates from the Russian Research Center at Harvard opened a consulting business called the Cambridge East-West Consulting Group Inc.[3]. The business did not last long, however. Kramer moved to Washington, D.C., and began working at the Center for Strategic and International Studies for Stephen Sestanovich in 1993, on Ulam's recommendation. He followed Sestanovich to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, becoming Associate Director of the Russian and Eurasian Program there, and setting up the Carnegie Moscow Center.
He worked briefly as a Senior Fellow at the Project for the New American Century, before joining the United States Department of State as Executive Director of the United States Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy in April 2000. He next served as Special Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs Paula Dobriansky, from June 2001 to October 2003. Kramer then became a professional staff member for the Policy Planning Staff. From July 2005 to March 2008, he was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs under Dan Fried. While there Kramer worked on issues related to Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, and nonproliferation.
In 2008, President of the United States George W. Bush nominated Kramer as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, and, after Senate confirmation, he held this office from March 21, 2008 to January 20, 2009. While there he led the resumption of the human rights dialogue with the Chinese, traveling to Beijing in May 2008. He spent much of his time at this post traveling to places like Hanoi, Vietnam, twice to Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia, among others.
Kramer left his position at the State Department during the transition in January 2009, and became a Senior Transatlantic Fellow at the German Marshall Fund. He went on to become executive director of Freedom House on October 4, 2010.[4] On June 18, 2014 Freedom House announced that Kramer planned to resign that fall.[5] On October 1, 2014 Freedom House announced that Mark P. Lagon would replace him in 2015.[6]
In November 2014, Kramer became the Senior Director for Human Rights and Human Freedom[7] at the McCain Institute.[8]
In February 2013, Kramer caused controversy at the North American Invitational Model United Nations, when Kramer's opening keynote speech incited a walkout of 300 Chinese visitors.[9]

Here's something I learned today---Chuck Todd did not graduate from college.
Chuck Todd: Wiki: Todd attended George Washington University from 1990 to 1994. He declared a major in political science and a minor in music, but never graduated.[5]
How about that. Of the guys who sit around all day telling the rest of America who's an expert and who isn't, and what's truth and what ain't, Todd joins a pretty big list of big shots (i.e.)
Brian Williams: Wiki: Williams attended Brookdale Community College, after which he transferred to The Catholic University of America and then The George Washington University.[11] He did not graduate, and instead interned with the administration of President Jimmy Carter. He later called leaving college one of his "great regrets."
Peter Jennings: Wiki: Jennings transferred to Lisgar Collegiate Institute.[3] He struggled academically, and Jennings later surmised that it was out of "pure boredom" that he failed 10th grade and dropped out. "I loved girls," he said. "I loved comic books. And for reasons I don't understand, I was pretty lazy."[4] Jennings then briefly attended Carleton University, where he says he "lasted about 10 minutes" before dropping out.[5] He also attended the University of Ottawa.[6]
Here's a few others: - Brian Williams attended three schools and completed 18 undergraduate credits before working his way to NBC News anchor. Peter Jennings, Walter Cronkite and John Chancellor were also anchors without degrees. And many reporters and columnists never completed college, including Nina Totenberg of NPR, Carl Bernstein of The Washington Post...
I don't care if a guy went to college or not, but I do care if people help create an elitist attitude of looking down their noises at people who didn't graduate while not having done the same themselves.

Duda would prefer that our government overlords continue to forcibly take the $28 per month from the poor working folk and misspend it on whatever they decide is important. As long as they forcibly take more from others. This is called "fairness". If his beloved Dems retake the swamp he can enjoy not having the $28 and having considerably more forcibly taken from him and all the poor working folk (or not working folk, as seems to be the case under Dem rule, since they like to take confiscatory levels of money from people who employ working folk). He seems to think that he would have some sort of choice in the matter. This is called "self-delusion."
Posted by: boatbuilder | December 21, 2017 at 04:37 AM
Democrats want you to remain in poverty because they want your vote. Democrats can't be offering business incentives to create more and better jobs because that might lift folks out of poverty. Where's their vote for that?

Miss Marple,
How's this for a coincidence, Sundance has found somebody else who's had amnesia---Andrew McCabe:)
“Andy” McCabe’s Transparent Motive For a Lost Dossier Memory….
The Rosen report earlier today -based on investigators within the House Intelligence Committee- states McCabe has lost his memory around the timeline for the FBI’s FISA application and the Christoper Steele Russian Dossier as evidence therein.
Some amnesia's may be more convenient than others though:
If McCabe was aware of the origin, financing and use of the Steele Dossier in obtaining a FISA warrant, his exposure to a criminal conspiracy increases exponentially.

Posted by: Miss Marple the Deplorable | December 21, 2017 at 06:54 AM
From WaPo article:
"But here’s the truth: 8 in 10 Americans will pay lower taxes next year, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center’s analysis of the final bill. Only 5 percent of people will pay more next year. Mostly, those are folks who earn six figures and own expensive houses in places with high local taxes, such as New York and California."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/paloma/daily-202/2017/12/20/daily-202-the-tax-bill-is-likely-to-become-more-popular-after-passage-here-s-how-republicans-plan-to-sell-it/5a395b3c30fb0469e883fcf2/
---------
Of course later in the article they mention Pelosi and how this bill "polled" badly. Of course no one polled understands what was in the bill (but the MSM says its bad so it must be). The higher paychecks next year will help clear things ups. Then the Wapo concludes with the risk of higher debt. Now they are concerned about debt after the Community Organizer ran up about $10 trillion.
No mention of the other side of lower taxes...increase economic growth. I guess the extra dollars in everyone's pocket, rich or poor, will stay in their pockets?
Sounds like the Dems are excited about running on a winning platform of raising taxes and getting GDP growth down to Obama levels of 1% annually.

$28 a month
Considering the impact on my retirement funds that's already occurred, I'd be thrilled with breaking even on my income taxes. Of course this idiot probably probably hasn't saved for retirement, or has put his money in windmills.

OK, it's fun to taunt Dems but maybe this is going too far ...

New Englanders and those interested in antiques may find this article of interest. Nutting was the originator of the Colonial Revival in architecture and possibly the reason that people today collect antiques.

If my memory is correct, the Bundy issue is related Harry Reid and his son's activities and not Hillary's uranium activities. The son was a partial investor in a solar energy project requiring land use in an area specifically proscribed from use because it was populated with a breed of protected desert turtle. The son's group would receive the land IF the could provide an alternative habitat. Guess whose land was to be used in the trade? You guessed it - land leased to the Bundy's.

The Massive Tax Cuts, which the Fake News Media is desperate to write badly about so as to please their Democrat bosses, will soon be kicking in and will speak for themselves. Companies are already making big payments to workers. Dems want to raise taxes, hate these big Cuts!

"Of course this idiot probably probably hasn't saved for retirement, or has put his money in windmills"
Retire? What? put on a pink polo shirt and play several rounds of golf before checking out the early bird special-i'd rather put a shotgun in my mouth?
Men do not retire. You work till you die. That's the way of our Grandfathers. You grind on till you've got nothing left.
Retirement is for the soft effeminate the man whose testosterone in barely registering and has a fine collection of hand soaps.

One actually has to have done some work in order to have retired. That doesn't count walking around money from Soros.

In separate tweets denouncing Josh Meyer’s Politico piece, both Tommy Vietor and Ned Price use the phrase “undisclosed anti-Iran deal bias.” It's almost like a memo circulated among them, as if they work in an echo chamber.

It's the most influential t.v show because you,our Moron in chief watches it for talking points and policy goals. Fox and friends literally tells you what to think and say,dunce....that's the joke. You're so feeble minded you allow a morning show to tell you what to think.

Neither President Trump nor Vice President Pence have anything on their schedules today and there are no press briefings on the schedule, either.
This could be significant or simply a "winding down towards the holidays" coincidence.

"Apple has confirmed the suspicions of many iPhone owners by revealing it does deliberately slow down some models of the iPhone as they age."
Not to mention frying older phones when they attempt to handle an update, as happened to my daughter.
Since I only use my phone for calling, texting, and occasional internet when I cannot be at my computer, I simply have not updated any software.
I don't use aps and so have no reason to update.

ChiTown Lurker called this to my attention, and as he says, this seems to be a pretty big deal:

Under orders of Jeff Sessions, who apparently is busy and paying attention.
