A man of better character than I (or grammar skills than me?) would read past this headline and lede at the flailing NY Times to see if the obvious counter point is made. I cannot.
Kim Jong-un’s Overture Could Drive a Wedge Between South Korea and the U.S.
SEOUL, South Korea — Beyond a New Year’s declaration by North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, that he would move to the mass-production of nuclear weapons and intercontinental missiles in 2018 lies a canny new strategy to initiate direct talks with South Korea in the hope of driving a wedge into its seven-decade alliance with the United States.
Just remember - if South Korea and North Korea reach a meaningful and reassuring detente the Times will only embrace it if they can "blame" Trump.
ERRATA: NO, Trump did not invent the 'good cop/ bad cop' ploy. Nor did this LA DA.
What's to complain in the Norks are off our chessboard?

Jack, I maintain the Ledge stocked at 100% because of essentially two beliefs, both of which you have expressed in the last week or two:
1. It IS Trump's FBI, DoJ, CIA, NSA, DIA et al and has been for 51 weeks.
2. You and I both date our DC time, like Clarice, back to the early 70's. In all that time, I don't think I can recall a single IG Report which has done more than punish flunkies while protecting all founding members of the Club.
THAT SAID...
1. Trump knows that.
2. Sessions knows that.
3. Competing priorities could account for a 90-120 day delay, but hardly anything except a grand plan would seem to account for an entire year, more if you start counting back to the campaign when Trump discovered they were tapping his phones.
4. So. RG & MM might just be right in which case the Flash Bangs will be seen soon.
Or not.
But, like the liquid assets in Lyle's cellar, the inventory on the Ledge does not decline in value over time.

The Associated Press could not make it to noon on New Year's Day before posting the first Fake News of 2018. ... At 10:24 a.m., it tweeted: "Pence visit to Israel postponed again, no reason given."
The Associated Press did not wait for a comment from the White House -- or Pence's office. For some reason, AP felt it needed to urgently tell people at 8:15 a.m. on a holiday morning that OMG the vice president has inexplicably postponed his trip again.

Old Lurker,
I still think my theory (about finding something so indisputably bad that there can be no arguing about the need to prosecute) is the right one.
As you know, I frequent a lot of sites on the internet, some more conspiracy-oriented than others. I am still wondering about those sealed indictments, which DO exist, but we don't know what they are for. For example, some could be for MS-13 gang members, which we know Sessios was going after.
There are some wild cards in the mix. What has been discovered in the questioning of Prince Talwal, who was a big donor to the Clinton Foundation?
The Haitians are none too happy with Clinton either, and there are rumors about the money they diverted from Haiti after the earthquake. (How evil do you have to be to steal from the poorest people in this hemisphere?)
Other avenues of prosecution might be profiting from drug or arms dealing or child trafficking. Also, let's not forget North Korea and uranium.
Like I said, the prosecution will have to be for an easily understandable bad crime with evidence making it an open and shut case.
We will see.
By the way, there seems to be an undercurrent of panic about the Iranian protests in the Clinton/Obama camps. One wonders what communications they had with the mullahs. It would be such a shame if that came to light.

Frau, if you check in today, I was wondering if you'd cleared your cookies or at least deleted the typepad cookies and still had the problem.
The only way a web server can know you is through cookies they'd previously set when you've visited their site. Your typepad cookie would include the stuff you've typed into the name, email and websute URL textboxes below the comment box. This is how the site remembers you the next time you visit. But once the cookies are deleted, those boxes should come back empty until the next time you enter text and post a comment.
Have you tried deleting cookies and still had the problem? If so, I'd guess it's due to something you've typed into one of those boxes.

Private property?
Like the promise of which drained Italy of something like 70% of its population over 80 years to come here?
No hope of owning a thing there, as the Medicis et. al. had divided up the entire country centuries before.
Why live somewhere where the sun shines nearly every day, food grows year round, and olives and grapes and lemons are hanging off trees and vines everywhere, when you can move to Gloversville, NY, where it's subzero today, and work in a factory?
PRIVATE PROPERTY, that's why! The chance to own some for yourself.
Many of those factory workers became homeowners, had a kitchen garden where they grew their own tomatoes and grapes and zucchini and eggplant, sent their kids to high school and beyond, and lived very satisfied lives.

1. Using the massive powers of the Feds to obtain and keep control over all US citizens.
2. Selling our Uranium to Russia for cash in secret Clinton bank accounts.
3. Selling access to all of our secrets to our enemies for private gain.
4. Transferring billions to enemies like Iran so they can use it to kill Americans.
5. Conspiring with our global enemies to destroy the standing of the US in the eyes of the world, eliminate our borders and sovereignty, and otherwise erase our Constitution and Founding Documents.
Just off the top of my head.

a'mom-please do not get too hung up on the federal govt as the boogeyman. DeBlasio's agenda and the full prog vision is intended to primarily be implemented at the local level.
It is the local that controls physically both people and property and language describing subsidiarity is a Right Pincer favorite for masking the reality of the UN SDG/ICLEI/Rule of Law as an affirmative weapon agenda.
I have been getting all their mailings for at least 5 years now and the local, like education and data as a tool for manipulation, are the favorite reshaping tools.
