I wonder if it's genetic? I would be an interesting DNA experiment to see if there is a common sequence of corruption, lying, stealing and treason, in all Democrat RNA/DNA strands?
Also grateful to Clarice for yesterday's link to McCarthy @ NR. His mea culpa may go far towards redeeming him. Perhaps not totally, but at least a good start.
Still catchin' up. Gray chilly day here on the ridge. Probably low 40's. Ha! I see y'all scowlin'. I grew up in the midwest and remember your winters. Last time I was in Milwaukee I think it was the home of the Braves. Should still be, ya ask me. Maders'...yum. Brats and Wisconsin State Fair. Shame in a way that Ryan's from Rock County. That's a beautiful place.
Do you know the area called the Cochise Stronghold? A mysterious spiritual experience occurred to me there. I'm reminded of this:
Ich weiß nicht
was soll es bedeuten
daß ich so traurig bin;
ein Märchen aus uralten Zeiten
das kommt mir nicht aus dem Sinn. Heine
I know not if there is a reason
Why I am so sad at heart.
A legend of bygone ages
Haunts me and will not depart.
On a short walk with my son along the interpretive site trail, I was suddenly overcome by the most intense sense of sorrow in my life. I had to send my son along to the parking lot to grab himself some lunch. Tears had welled up in my eyes and I could barely speak.
Similar hauntings have occurred in other wild places at other times, but never as profound.
Very few folks understand this, so I seldom mention it. Your comments will be appreciated.
