Judge Sullivan like Clarence Thomas believes in the rule of law, first and facts second. If your facts (FBI 302 contemperanous memos) don't comport to the law then show me what does. He may be the most unique man in Washington, an honest one.

Beasts of England

And thanks, Appalled! He's a trial lawyer not a criminal defense attorney. However, if I endure a really nasty slip and fall while at JOM, Maguire's in deep kimchi... :)

I've paid almost no attention to this Cruz kid, but I think Prager the other day on Radio mentioned he thought Cruz and his brother were adoptees from Russia. If so my guess is Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Sadly we have a lot of that up here and it has resulted in horrific inhumane murder cases.

Beasts of England

Sullivan is likely the only judge in America appointed by Reagan, Bush and Clinton. He may truly be an honest broker.

Has Leah Libresco been re-assigned by the WaPo to cover local Fairfax County Town Council meetings and Horticultural Society proceedings yet?

are deemed by a grand jury to be sufficient to be tested by trial.

True, if "deemed" in that case means "automatically true-billed" after a scant offer of proof and almost zero discussion in my 2x experience.

hrtshpdbox

It's gotta be a real possibility that, if he does it, Flynn withdrawing his plea could be the beginning of the end of Mueller.

Jim Eagle

I still have my Dad's Remington .30-06 bolt action 4+1 center bore rifle that he killed his first (and only) moose with when I was about 10 or 11 in Newfoundland. Did it by accident, since he loosed a round after tripping over a camo log but caught the moose square in its juglar. We ate moose for 2 years out of our deep freeze.

I have a standard issue .45 but the arms I would really like to have is the old M6 survival gun we had on our buffer. 22 chambered and a .410 shot gun shell available on the other barrel. Never used it or even shot it but it was what we would have to use if we got put down in the artic. I always thought, killing what with it? A Polar Bear?

It was that introduction to survival when I knew I would never be as smart as the guys in the laboratory of ideas.

daddy

Less than a month remaining to charge that POS Clapper with lying under Oath before the Statute of Limitations runs out on his admitted crime.

The Con Con premise originated on the Left and my first tracking of it, daddy, is in sanford levinson's books. It ties to the soros funded constitution in 2020. I have the books but they are in my office downstairs I am not supposed to go to.

The con con then got picked up by the right pincer and especially the state think tanks like TPPF. My experience with all think tanks is they lie and they are by and large pitching a usurpation of the individual's right to make their own decisions. The main argument to them is who gets to be the designated providers of the government mandated benefits.

Extraneus

Would a Hello Kitty painted version be more to your liking?

In the gun literature, it's recommended for self defense. People who've defensively used pink guns, or guns with ivory handles and the like, are acquitted more often in wrongful death trials than those with scarier-looking guns. Pretty sure there's data to back that up.

Jim Eagle

daddy,

Know a lot of those Russian babies. One was until recently Frederick's friend and classmate. Now out of school. Threatened suicide. Brillant kid. Great family with 2 bio kids, one is at Dartmouth on the crew team. Number 2 daughter may be dating him, who knows.

Also, we have good friends still in London who brought two boys home. She and hubby ex-west point. So far, so good. Maybe a military regimean at home helps.

As I mentioned earlier it was either a crack or meth baby or maybe LSD. You may be on a better track. But I am going chemical either way.

daddy

One of my FB friends made a comment that the indictments were proof of Russia meddling in the election.

Ask your friend if Mueller had indicted 13 ham sandwiches would he claim that as proof of Russian meddling in the election as well? Then ask him why not, since just like the 13 ham sandwiches none of these 13 indicted Russians will ever be brought to Trial.

rse

I think I told this story but I had an ar-15 in the back of my suv but did not know it. Was driving son up from Florida to retrieve his sisters in an alabama swap off.

Got pulled over in panhandle for speeding on two lane road and son tells me there was a gun he was bringing back from fla to ga. He told me after cop let me go with instructions to 'slow down'.

Remember also that when schools talk about mental wellbeing that is not a term that is synonymous at all with dealing with mental health issues. In fact I believe it gets in the way of treating the genuine issues.

Let me add: Less Fatherless.

Check out all the recent school shooters and their commonality.

Extraneus

Flynn withdrawing his plea could be the beginning of the end of Mueller.

If he was honest, he'd have wrapped it up after the 13 indictments of people who will never be brought to trial. It was a perfect opportunity to leave with his reputation relatively intact.

The fact that he's still there is telling.

GUS

Beasts, respond thusly. The indictments are ACCUSATIONS, that during THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, 13 RUSSIANS, tried to MUDDLE up the already MUDDLED up minds who would believe FACE BOOK AD. They spent SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS to confuse AMERICANS.

Obama was President up to, and beyond, the 2016 Election. So why didn’t he do something about Russian meddling?
==========================================

Getting warmer, boss! I know EXACTLY why he didn't. I am wondering when this will finally be stated.

If the federal government can conspire to frame a presidential candidate who is a billionaire celebrity, what hope does the average citizen have?

Especially if they can just write down whatever they want on those 302's and change them as convenience warrants!

I am going to start asking about this to my Congressman and Senators. There is no damn reason why they aren't recording interviews except, as I believe daddy said, to enable them to rearrange facts in order to get convictions. The very idea that this is tolerated tells me that the FBI has too much sway over people in Congress, probably through threats and blackmail.

Jim Eagle

Hannity played a tape of Zippy being really pissy about Trump whining about Russian interference in the election and not evidence of such and so on. What a complete and ignorant jackass we had as President. I am sure the people who voted for him are as proud as lemmings going over the cliff to the drowning sea.

The more you play back his comments on anything, the more you realize he got into major universities on color and country of birth alone. I don't believe he was born in Kenya but he made sure everyone with power of admission knew it.

An A+ con man if there ever was one.

Sorry Henry.

daddy

Sullivan is likely the only judge in America appointed by Reagan, Bush and Clinton. He may truly be an honest broker.

My guess on Judge Sullivan is that he's probably like a lot of Judges up there that aren't corrupt but are the sort of folks that expect and take it for granted that when FBI/DOJ professionals appear in your Courtroom they are going to abide by the Law just like he does.

It seems to me that after he got made the patsy in the Ted Steven's case by the Prosecutors pulling the wool over his eyes he was incensed and personally embarrassed, and I see in some of the Sundance/Daily Caller links that he has been lied to in other instances on 302's previously. With that said, I think he is seeing it again and is now so personally pissed off at the continual corruption that it completely overrides his "benefit of the doubt" personal nature and he is determinedly going on offense against team Mueller to uncover that corruption with a vengeance.

So I see him as a good man who on a personal level has been made very, very angry which is exactly the kind of guy we need in his position at this exact moment in history. Don't let us down, Judge Sullivan, keep that righteous anger at a boiling point until Comey's Day of Judgement is at hand.

Extraneus

I am sure the people who voted for him are as proud as lemmings going over the cliff to the drowning sea.

Non hysterical Liz on FOX Business reports that POS Clapper, mentioned above, says he didn't know the Russians were screwing with American Elections in 2014. With her guest Gina Loudon, Liz Plays clip of Clapper on CNN yesterday:

CNN Hostess: ...The Russian operatives had begun traveling here to begin that in 2014 posing as Political Activists. You were the Director of the National Intelligence at that time. What did you know about those operations and why wasn't more done to stop it before it became a problem?

POS James Clapper: I wasn't aware of this activity going back to 2014. We certainly became aware of what was going in '15 and '16, and there's no question about it.
-------------------

Liz: That was President Obama's Director of Nat Intel, James Clapper, saying he did not know about Russian Interference in 2014, but he also said Russians have been trying to interfere in our Elections since the 1960's, and that he and others knew about the meddling going back to 2015...He then went on to say "meddling was worse under Trump. So lets just try to get this straight. On the one hand Clapper is saying Russia melding has been happening since the 1960's, on the other hand it's bad under Trump. What's going on here?

Gina L: You have to wonder why these people aren't just scared to death that they should just end all of this now because the more they talk the deeper they get themselves into trouble. We know now that the only Collusion that happened is exactly what the president said from the very beginning and that is between, Hillary, the DNC, and Russia, to create the fake Dossier. That's the whole story. Everything else is a distraction...

Then Liz plays the Clip of Clapper lying under Oath to Congress on March 12th, 2013:

Dem Ron Wyden: Does the NSA collect any type of Data at all on millions or hundreds of millions if of Americans?

Clapper: No Sir.

Wyden: It does not?

Clapper: Not wittingly.

Liz: What's your reaction there?

Gina L: Well, that means he's a known liar. It's pretty simple to see, and that means that whatever he says probably shouldn't be take too seriously. The one person who has been straightforward about this from the very beginning, about what he knows about it, is the President, President Trump.

Given how many of these school shooters are obviously killing people as a way to become famous, nationwide walkouts are going to CAUSE more massacres. I read that he issues a Brady disclosure (is that the right term?) for each of his cases, and it sounds like the Stephens' debacle would explain that.

Yep, Beasts. From the valuable Federalist link posted earlier: How A Plea Reversal From Michael Flynn Could Uncover More Federal Corruption

Sullivan enters identical standing orders as a matter of course in all of his criminal cases, as he explained in a 2016 Cardozo Law Review article: “Following the Stevens case, I have issued a standing Brady Order for each criminal case on my docket, updating it in reaction to developments in the law.” A Brady order directs the government to disclose all exculpatory evidence to defense counsel, as required by Brady v. Maryland. The Stevens case, of course, is the government’s corrupt prosecution of the late senator Ted Stevens—an investigation and prosecution which, as Sullivan put it, “were permeated by the systematic concealment of significant exculpatory evidence. . . .”

IIRC, in regards to the Flynn case that he took over in December, he has issued the equivalent of the Brady Order, then a few days back made it even more water-tight by demanding even more from Team Mueller. I hope Team Mueller is shitting their britches even as we speak.

Clarice's paste last night, that McCabe ordered Strzok's 302's of Flynn altered and then the alteration history deleted, would go far to explaining Judge Sullivan's latest actions.

exdemocrat

Isn't there an exception to tolling the SOL if the illegality should have been discovered, like in the civil context? (could be wrong here - my crim cred is getting rusty).
If so, perhaps Clapper will defend himself by claiming his illegality was blindingly obvious to anyone other than a complete moron/leftist/nevertrumper?

Former FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force Member: Director Wray Must Resign | Fox News Insider http://insider.foxnews.com/amp/article/60324?__twitter_impression=true

Former FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force member and Navy veteran Steven Rogers said Monday that FBI Director Christopher Wray should resign in the wake of a reported missed tip about the Florida school shooting suspect.

Rogers said there was a failure in intelligence sharing by the bureau, after a tip was received about suspect Nikolas Cruz, but apparently not acted upon, after Wray took charge of the FBI.

"The director of the FBI should not only resign, but the entire leadership [and] executive officers should resign," he said.

FOX News Host David sitting in for Lou Dobbs:

David: Judicial Watch is suing for information on Obama Administration efforts to unmask members of the Trump Campaign. JW is seeking documents related to UN Ambassador Samantha Powers highly unusual efforts to identify Americans referenced in surveillance of Foreign Nationals. Powers unmasked more than 260 people during just the final year in office. Joining me now Chris Farrell...Judicial Watch...Chris, When I first read that Inauguration E-Mail that Susan Rice sent to herself...talking about how they were going to do everything by the book in all of the investigations, I immediately thought of unmasking, of Samantha Power and her unmasking of all those people. Am I way off on that?

Chris Farrell: No, I think you are right on the nose. Look, Susan Rice is now a certified liar, she's the one who went on TV and kept claiming Benghazi was a spontaneous protest, that it wasn't a determined Terrorist attack, yet we all know that it was. She made the rounds 180 degrees out from that, a series of lies, so when we see her writing this E-Mail, this sort of panacea E-Mail to herself saying everything is Legit, the odds are a million to one that that is exactly what the case is not.

David: ...the unmasking was the perfect way to get inside the Trump campaign, right?

Farrell: Absolutely. This was penetrating behind the scenes of methods and sources to uncover some of the most sensitive signals intelligence information available, and violating the rights of American citizens. You would think that all the Civil Libertarians out there would be hysterical over this sort of abuse of power...

David: It depends on whose ox is being gored...I'm just curious. Even if you get any of these documents or E-Mails you are looking for from Samantha Powers in terms of unmasking, won't they be so heavily redacted that you can't make sense of them?

Farrell: I don't believe so. These are all items or materials that at this point are historical. This is all after the fact. There will be redactions of course...mostly sources and methods, but the interesting thing I think will be the Justification---the requests themselves. What compelled them to do this, on what grounds, and certainly while the intelligence take might be Classified, their rationale or their explanation as to why certain communications have to be unmasked , that does not meet the same threshold.

Davidl Won't the names themselves be redacted?

Farrell: They probably will in order to respect the privacy of the persons involved.

David: ...Let us know what you find out.

Today Bob Dole received the Congressional Medal of Honor. Very nice and greatly deserved. He is the same age as my great-uncle who died last spring. They were both Midwesterners who left college to go find the war. God bless.

Tim Kaine...What were his qualifications again?

Well his son, Linwood never robbed a liquor store. Yet.

Hey, I just noticed that Kaine's son was arrested at an Anti-Trump Rally in Minnesota.

Anyone here know if that was one of the Russian Anti-Trump sponsored rally's?

Wouldn't that be cool if one of the leaders at an Anti-Trump Rally was Tim Kaine's son. Ha! Bet Trump would love to tweet about that and find out if Linwood was an unwitting or a witting dupe:)

Matt, thank you for your beautiful 2:24 testimony.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
You honor your son with your work, and in educating us.

I wouldn't bet against it daddy:

Since the Flynn case is under discussion on many threads here, it's useful to review the 2 pp. charging document. The only thing he is charged with is lying to the FBI:https://www.scribd.com/…/3…/Michael-Flynn-charging-document…
If, as has been reported, the evidence against him--the 302 of the interview he had with strzoke and a second agent were tampered with, what's left of the govt's case?

This is a direct outcome of Trayvon Martin, Obama school policies, and local school board not wanting a bunch of arrests due to not wanting to look bad. Read this. Sundance has records of communications and everything.

Clarice,

Did you see my report from earlier this afternoon about my lunch with my friend the federal marshal?

NO federal law officer records interviews.

I think this is something that should be changed.
