Andrea Mitchell: ‘Devastating’ When Comey Reopened Clinton Probe

Posted by: Jim Eagle | February 06, 2018 at 02:02 PM
So is Andrea saying that Comey lost the election for Hillary? I thought it was the Russians. Or is she saying Comey was a Russian stooge?
Posted by: bullwinkle | February 06, 2018 at 02:04 PM
Yeah, devastating to know a convicted pedophile had classified e-mails that RODHAM had ALLOWED him to have. No biggy right Mrs Greenspan??
I doubt the whore Mika Buttinski can spell e-mail.
Comey had no choice. He acknowledged the e-mails on a convicted pedophiles laptop, then he whitewashed it away. Lying as usual.
Posted by: GUS | February 06, 2018 at 02:09 PM
Beside an over-valued market of "irrational exuberance" as Greenspan would say coupled with a strong economy of rising wages, increased employment and higher spending you get this kind of turbulence. Of course, the Fed trying to unload $4 Trillion on their books may have more to do with it than everythinge else.
I still think its got further to go down before refusal (a foundation engineering metaphor:)

Extraneus,
Anrea Mitchell is why I lost complete faith in NBC News, and later every one of the networks.
This is an appropriate story today since it's Reagan's birthday.
Back in the 80's Reagan gave a press conference in the afternoon. Andrea Mitchell was then the White House correspondent fir NBC.
As is the usual practice, they were going over his charitable contributions trying to show that he wasn't as charitable as he seemed. Reagan explained that a lot of the charitable giving he did was to individuals, and that type of donation cannot be deducted on your taxes. He also felt like that was more like true charity, because you got no tax advantage, just the knowledge you had helped your fellow man. This was a reasonable explanation from one who had grown up as a Quaker.
In those days I kept the TV on all day while I chased my daughter around and did housework. So It stayed on NBC until Tom Brokaw came on. He covered the press conference and had Andrea Mitchell appear on camera in front of the White House.
Here is what she said:"I asked President Reagan why his charitable deductions were so small, but he had no explanation."
I was appalled, as she had obviously lied on camera. A bald-faced lie, constructed to make President Reagan look like a cheapskate and a hypocrite.
That was when I lost trust in the news. And I have loathed Andrea Mitchell ever since.

The book, titled The Tantrum That Saved The World, tells the story of a girl named Sophia, whose life is disrupted when a polar bear, a Kiribati family flooded by the rising seas, a bee swarm, a fisherman, and others knock on her door seeking help. Annoyed at first, Sophia then realizes she has to help, so she organizes rallies to sway more people — and policymakers — to act on climate change. It’s a sweet story, and Herbert says she designed the protagonist to be racially ambiguous. Although Sophia is fair-skinned, she could be South American or mixed race, so any child can identify with her. “I wanted to keep that as vague as possible,” she says.

My friend the federal marshal is a stunner: beautiful face even without make-up, long black hair, superb physical condition.
I like to see stunners in positions of authority. I am tired of the democrat women who all look like Janet Napolitano or Donna Shalala.
They have pushed the idea that only dumpy, ugly women are competent that it shocks you to see a good-looking woman in a position of responsibility. Shake off the democrat PR!
I am hopeful that more women will realize they don't have to look like Alice the Goon in order to have a successful career.

Comey handed the election to Trump through his incredibly hamhanded management of the Clinton investigation. (McCabe, I think, gave Comey an accidental assist by sitting on the Carlos Danger e-mail cache too long). I think a lot of Comey's subsequent behavior can be explained by the guilt complex he gave himself by being the unwilling delivery boy of the victory.
By the way, has anyone noticed this?

Kevin McCarthy has opened another crack in the Washington establishment by slamming the Democrats’ sacrosanct ideology of government-imposed, divide-and-rule diversity. “We did not survive, grow, and become the most powerful civilization in human history because we were focused on our diversity,” he said in a short speech to celebrate the opening of a new religious freedom office at the Department of Health and Huan Services, adding:
It is not our differences that make us stronger. It is our unity despite our diversity—unity of past, of principles, and of purpose that brought us out of many into one. "

Hoping that rse sees this. My local school district sent out their quarterly newsletter. It is such a steaming pile of politically correct, new-age-ish BS. The school district has all these programs at all levels, elementary through high school. The headline in the newsletter is one virtue signalling cliche after another. "Embracing Diversity by teaching kindness, mindfulness and respect," reads the headline. The district has actually hired administrators to be in charge of these programs. I realize that since I live in a largely liberal district, there is little I can do, but I would like to push back. Rse, is there any evidence that teaching first-graders "mindfulness" (which by the way is a Buddhist concept) is beneficial? I want to write a letter to the school board telling them to focus on the basics, math, English and history and cut all this touchy-feely crap. Any suggestions? I have a strong feeling that you with your knowledge of these hidden movements to use the schools to mold our kids' minds can help.

Newt on radio with Sean "interruptus" Hannity and the talk swerved to how this is different than Watergate.
Newt explained that he was Nixon's 1972 Campaign Chairman in Georgia in 1972 which I did not know, and also that he ran in 1974, so he offered that to the audience and to Sean to explain how he knew the ins and outs of Watergate intimately.
Newt said that the things that are the same are that you had certain people at the top in both instances, in Watergate and in FBI/DOJ Hillary-Russia Collusion Gate, whatever we want to call this. Definitely corrupt actions taken by the actors at the top in both cases. What he says is different is that in the Watergate case the lower level Civil Servant Bureaucrat types refused to go along with the corruption and blew the whistle, so that at the end of the day the bad guys at the top were outed and gone, and the DC world went back to normal.
But in todays case what we now know is that the lower level Civil Servant Bureaucrat types are also all corrupt as hell and went along with the schemes gladly, whether intentionally part of the schemes or just because their general mindset is that they are swamp critters out to protect themselves and their kingdom, and damn whatever ethics they should be paying attention to.
That's why he says we have so much a larger problem today than we had back in Watergate times. And he only had a few opportunities between Sean's interruptions to add in the bastardization of the MSM---their collision in today's cases for the corrupt bastards at the head of Govt versus the MSM's feeding frenzy against Nixon and his top men back in Watergate.
I'm glad Newt continues to appear on Hannity's Show. He has a knack for making big things clear and understandable. We need more Newt to win this war.

Rush covered this earlier, why chic's don't like crunchy stuff: The CEO Of PepsiCo Said They're Considering Making Chips For Women And People Are Exceptionally Confused
The CEO of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi, was a guest on Freakonomics Radio last week...The interviewer then asks her to explain the behavioral differences of how men and women consume chips...
Nooyi: "When you eat out of a flex bag — one of our single-serve bags — especially as you watch a lot of the young guys eat the chips, they love their Doritos, and they lick their fingers with great glee, and when they reach the bottom of the bag they pour the little broken pieces into their mouth, because they don’t want to lose that taste of the flavor, and the broken chips in the bottom. Women would love to do the same, but they don’t. They don’t like to crunch too loudly in public. And they don’t lick their fingers generously and they don’t like to pour the little broken pieces and the flavor into their mouth.

Just got to that link on the previous thread of the Lefty chick driving home from some Feminist rally and having car problems and the redneck guy busting ass to quickly and friendly like fix her car. This line struck me from her column:
As I drove home, I felt the full extent to which Trump has actually diminished my own desire to be kind. He is keeping me so outraged that I hold ill will toward others on a daily basis. Trump is not just ruining our nation, he is ruining me. By the end of the drive, I felt heartbroken.
Amazing. She blames Trump for her hatred.

I have been blocked from John Podhoretz's account on Twitter for a couple of years. I forget what prompted it - except that I disagreed with him.
Anyway, this is the elevating behavior he has been up to. Not a thought that perhaps there is a damn FLU EPIDEMIC and places have a lot of sick employees.
