I've read everything I can about the FRENCH POLICE and FORMER MILITARY hero.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the horrible attack in France yesterday, and we grieve the nation’s loss. We also condemn the violent actions of the attacker and anyone who would provide him support. We are with you @EmmanuelMacron!
I was going to post that story of Beltrames but I didn't know how a French hero would go over here. But he is one and gave his life to save others. No other courage or bravery can match that.
BTW, Cassaronne is one of the most beautiful, wonderful cities in the world. To walk the ramparts and enjoy the incredible views. If you go to southeastern France it is a must visit. Trebés is a small village next to it and the last time I was there everyone was sleeping.
Stormy is lucky to have Anderson Vandberbilt to interview her.He is the only man on the set (I think) who doesn't want to screw her unless she is packing.
Did Ms. Stormy have to take DJT to court in order to collect her fee? Were any pets threatened? Was she called a stalker in tabloids? Has she suffered humiliation at the hands of Car-vile or the Forehead?
Did she have to put any ice on it?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Thank YOU, maryrose.
Carcassonne is where many crusaders left for the Holy Land. It is relatively untouched--at least the old city. There's a traditional belief in that part of the country there that the three Mary's who witnesses Christs tomb arrived i\in the area by boat and lived there until their death--wikipedia"The three saints Mary Magdalene, Mary Salome and Mary of Clopas are believed to be the women who were the first witnesses to the empty tomb at the resurrection of Jesus. After the Crucifixion of Jesus, the Marys were said to set sail from Alexandria, Egypt with their uncle Joseph of Arimathea. According to a
longstanding French legend, they either sailed to or were cast adrift - arriving off the coast of what is now France, at "a sort of fortress named Oppidum-Râ". The location became known as Nôtre-Dame-de-Ratis (Our Lady of the Boat - Râ being used in ratis, or boat) (Droit, 1963, 19). The name was later changed to Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer. In 1838, it was changed to Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-M"

Frau, also thank you for the link to that wonderful and so brave saint--and so like the Frenchman. His choosing both the white and red crown in that early vision--that's something to remember.
And the lovely idea of Hogg joining CNN so you (and the rest of us) don't have to watch him: much appreciated!
I found this interesting from one of the articles about the French hero.
'After a pilgrimage to Sainte-Anne-d'Auray in 2015, when he asked the Virgin Mary to meet the woman of his life, he became friends with Marielle, whose faith is deep and discreet.
'The engagement was celebrated at the Breton abbey of Timadeuc at Easter 2016.
Question for my Catholic friends - is this a common practice? So touching that although they had a civil ceremony, they were married by the priest in the hospital just before his death.
Momto2, I am CATHOLIC and consider myself thdevout/ and/or knowledgable. This is NOT common, and if true is quite SPECIAL. I have my own opinions as to what is appropriate and what is OUTSIDE of nominal Catholic doctrines or principles.
It seems to me, that in the SECULAR world that we live in, this FRENCH HERO, and there is ZERO DOUBT that this man is a HERO BEYOND IMAGINATION....he and his beloved were proper and appropriate....as to the FRENCH LAW. It also occurs to me, that they fully intended to FULFILL the obligations of the CATHOLIC CHURCH.
GOD BLESS THIS MAN, and GOD PROTECT his WIFE and FAMILY.

JOM is the same way, and I hope we can continue to improve on discussions and not getting arrogant about our opinions.
When this video is finished I will post it.

For one of the characters in my novella, this might be a motivator

I found this interesting from one of the articles about the French hero.
'After a pilgrimage to Sainte-Anne-d'Auray in 2015, when he asked the Virgin Mary to meet the woman of his life, he became friends with Marielle, whose faith is deep and discreet.
'The engagement was celebrated at the Breton abbey of Timadeuc at Easter 2016.
Question for my Catholic friends - is this a common practice? So touching that although they had a civil ceremony, they were married by the priest in the hospital just before his death.

JiB seemed to think that I was saying that Beltrame wasn't being heroic or something. Come at me bro.

Narciso, it seems the meme is, GNK good, the peeps who run the HEDGE fund are bad.
It's a filthy dog eat dog world. Neither party OWNS the VIRTUE, nor TRUTH.
And.....it's DISGUSTING. Greed, and avarice.
