Oh, and thank you to daddy and jimmyk and others for links to or insight about the two-sleep history. When this first came out a few years ago, I was amazed, truly amazed, that I had no conscious knowledge of this at all--evidence of a sort of how fully the new paradigm of sleep all-through-the-night became entrenched. I do know that the Victorians thought that most nightmares came from eating seafood or eating too much. "More of the gravy than the grave," says Scrooge to Marley.

lyle,
We are supposed to hit 80 next week. This is a Big Deal because here in Indiana we still do not have trees leafing out because it has been so cold.
Today it's been raining with temps in the 50's, which seems even colder due to the damp.

So the mayor finally realized potholes are a problem, if a sinkhole opened up in the middle of town, how long would it take him to notice.

marciso,
The mayor spends every day going around the city visiting community groups and churches and fire stations and suchm posting photos of himself on Twitter. As near as I can tell, he does zero actual work.
As far as a sinkhole, it would probably require a court order for him to notice.

Did McCabe issue 'Stand-Down' order on FBI Clinton Email Investigation? | Sara A. Carter
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is now facing possible criminal charges for lying under oath about leaks he made to The Wall Street Journal in 2016, in an effort to salvage his reputation and give his account to journalists who were questioning whether he gave a “stand-down” order to FBI agents investigating the Clinton Foundation.
Multiple former FBI officials, along with a Congressional official, say that while there may have been internal squabbling over the FBI’s investigation into the Clinton Foundation at the time, there was allegedly another “stand-down” order by McCabe regarding the opening of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of her private email for official government business.
McCabe’s stand-down order regarding Clinton’s private email use happened after The New York Times first reported Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules in March 2015 and before the official investigation was requested by the Justice Department toward the end of July 2015.

Posted by: GUS | April 24, 2018 at 08:30 PM
Two things jumped out Gus.
1. He's not afraid to shoot into any opening. (No fear of failure. Rare)
2. He uses a lateral hesitation to get the defender moving / leaning before he commits. In essence he gets the defender to move out of his way and open a path to the net. (I think this is the key to ball handling, but at that level it is a wonder to see. The defender wants you to commit first too. A true battle of nerves)
I need to watch more, but I really like what I saw.

Good work Henry. He's got GREAT FEET. That you noticed. He can hesistate instantaneously, to get a sliver to shoot, or to get the defender NOT to HESITATE. As for the BATTLE of NERVES...BINGO.....he never rushes, he will bash a close shot hoping for deflection or ricochet, and it works.
Here's what I see that makes him special. FOOT WORK. He's FAST, but he's not THAT fast, he never whiffs, never shins it, and always gets laces if that's his intent. HE'S COOL AS A CUCUMBER. But......ALL LEFT FOOT. ALL LEFT FOOT.
Henry, he's only 25!!!!
I recognized how special he is. PURE TALENT hard to define, but JACK and I had a chat.
I'm a Harry Kane fan....in a similar vein, KANE isn't the dribbler, go for goal score dude, he's like Salah, he's not the pretty boy technical skills guy, he's the STRIKER, who hits the back of the net.

Of FLOTUS’ decision to host 150 in the State Dining Room, the designer fully approved. “For other state dinners, they built a tent outdoors. Why do you build a tent when you have the beautiful White House with the State [Dining] Room and you don’t have to invite the Yellow Pages?”

So which President(s) used Tacky Tents for State Dinners?
My FIL uses those when he caters the Dinah Shore golf tourney in Land of the Lesbians (Palm Sprangz).
They are atrocious and even moreso when heated or air condo'd. Who would turn a State Dinner into a cheezy Chamber of Commerce social?
Posted by: Account Deleted | April 24, 2018 at 09:01 PM
No, definitely NOT Madison, though Dems and Reps run roughly even in local (city, county) elections. But loads of family-oriented things here from Scouts (did I mention my son is a whisker away from his Eagle?), soccer, and the usual. I have lived here over 20 years and never been a victim of a crime. When I have lamely lost a card or phone or whatever, all I have to do is retrace my steps and go to the lost and found and there it is. It's a kind of moral paradise, though admittedly bad, seriously bad things, can happen here as anywhere. Who's the really bad mass killer buried a couple of miles from me in historic Wyuka cemetary? Fella named Starkweather.

Cats/Laura, my son got his EAGLE recently. I am VERY proud of him. Starkweather killed 11 if memory serves me, YEARS AGO, in NE and WYOMING.
He was ELECTROCUTED.
Here in Milwaukee Jeffrey Dahmer, killed over a dozen, and had killed others including Bath Ohio.
He got his head caved in, in PRISON.
Lincoln as I said, is NOT Madison. Here is the GIG.
Government money, and Government it's very self, creates LIBERALISM and DYSFUNCTION. Madison, has become problematic, because Government AND the UNIVERSITY have created a shit stew of GIMMEE GIMMEE GIMMEE. My son, is PROBABLY going to attend UW in Madison, but only because he can handle the CLOWNS. Lincoln hasn't gotten URBAN yet. Nebraska is less than 2 million. Wisconsin is nearing 6 million. Lincoln is about a quarter million. Madison has grown like a liberal week. I pray that Lincoln, does not follow suit.

The last State Dinner Obama had was in a tent. It was for the PM of Italy, and there were 400 guests.

Gregg Jarrett on Hanity TV Show say he thinks that Jim Comey gave the memo's to patrick Fitzgerald as well as his Columbia prof. Yesterday I transcribed I think Nunes saying all he thought Comey had given the memos to others.
Jarrett:...The other aspect of this is that we've learned today that he (Comey) has hired yet another Lawyer. Now the first Lawyer, Daniel Richmond, is the person to whom Comey leaked the 7 stolen Presidential Memos, 4 of which were Classified in terms of their content. So now he can hide behind his Attorney-Client Privilege with Richmond. And if he also gave those Memo's to Patrick Fitzgerald, which I believe he did, he's now hired him to hide behind the Attorney-Client Privilege...So you've got Comey now versus McCabe and I suspect McCabe is going to start singing like a canary because he is in serious Legal jeopardy now with a Criminal Referral against him for lying to the IG.
Sarah Carter joins in saying in her opinion she's sure that Strzok and Page are also singing like canaries.
I'm in wait and see mode.

Rep Meadows tells Hannity he thinks we will get the 6 months of Memos between Strzok and Page, but he says there is a critical 3 month gap missing that he says will be real important in showing if Comey is the innocent bystander he claims he was.
Rep DeSantos, questioned by Hannity on the 33,000 missing Hillary E-Mails, says that Judicial watch has identified some potential backup servers, and he has determined that the FBI never looked at these other server locations where the missing E-Mails may still be.

Lou is pissed at Gowdy and Goodlattes failure to get 800,000 documents they have been demanding and instead cheering that they got 400,000 of the 1,200,000 documents they initially demanded and are entitled to.

BEASTS, my MAN. The SPOTIFY that you sent me is FANTASTIC. And BEASTIE, I am a guitar players....GUITAR PLAYER.....
Very good stuff, and I mean it. Sounded like a vintange STRAT or even possibly a Gibson Hollowbody. I'd guess a VINTAGE STRAT. But I also think that I heard......a HAMMOND B-3 with the requisite LESLEY????

SBW,
I also thought that was a weak argument by Greg Jarrett, but I do hope that Comey tries to plead that bogus excuse. The part that got to me was a second opinion that they think Comey gave the Memo's to more than the single Prof at Columbia. The more the merrier to hang him on, since it shows not just intent to do Trump harm but conspiracy to do Trump harm.

Sbwaters, this is the FULL COMMIE/LIBTARD dodge.
I once talked to you about X, THEREFORE, I am indemnified as YOUR CLIENT.
But Michael Cohen, is not offered this. And THE LIBTARD FULL COMMIE, Judiciary, is able to EXPOSE, any and ALL of it's OPPONENTS client list.
THIS IS HOW AND WHY the WAR will START.

I didn't go to Harvard, but I'm guessing conjuring a status that has never existed, is an actual violation of that act

No you have to file as counsel of record at the time, right?

Narciso, we are in NEW territory. What you and I once thought was PROPER, is FULL COMMIE now.
I intend to be part of the COMING WAR. I have targets, that I intend to HIT.

Communications between Fitzgerald and Comey during the Clinton Email investigation would be interesting material.
