The FBI sends investigators abroad all the time so if it is true that they have not interviewed our favorite Russian lawyer that is puzzling.
As to the substance of the fateful meeting between Don Trump Jr. and the Russian with dirt on Hillary, my thoughts are here. The gist: her "dirt" was prosecutors files making the case that Hillary and Obama had been duped (or bought?!?) when they decided to believe the Magnitsky supporters rather than Team Putin. Tump Jr's. record promoter friend knows a snooze-fest when he hears it so he did his record promoter thing and over-hyped it. Still, Jr. played along, so if - IF! - Mueller is taking the Russian collusion angle seriously he ought to be sorting this out.
That would also be Katherine of Aragon's first husband. At least on paper
That was the boner of contention.

Captain:
"Nobody has answered how Hannity gets restitution."
How does calling an Article V convention do that? Even if you could word an amendment that would, you can't charge someone with a crime retrospectively.
Once you start tailoring amendments to specific cases, you're really talking about needing new law (whether there is one sufficient to the task already in place, I do not know). The purpose (and the genius) of Amendments is that they enshrine constitutional principles which are to be applied across the board.

The democrats and the mainstream media have encouraged and fomented hysteria among a large portion of the public, and these people aren't rational. It is a dangerous time. (I don't own a gun due to clumsiness; I have 3 dogs and a large shovel to thwack people with.)

fdcol63 on the last thread:
1) The main problem we have now is non-enforcement and non-compliance with the US Constitution.
Passing new amendments won't help that.
I'm not so sure. I have concerns about ripping up the Constitution and starting from scratch, but an Amendment that clearly and drastically reduces the ability of black-robed tyrants to run roughshod over voters and legislatures would be welcome. You'd have to convince me that cannot be done via amendment. For example, the whole idea of judicial review is not even in the Constitution, so it would not be hard to narrow it by clarifying exactly what the limits are in an amendment.

The Constitution can be amended to limit legal review -- I believe Teddy Roosevelt actually argued for something like that back in 1912. Thing is -- passing an amendment to do that would be as hard as amending the 2nd amendment out of the Constitution.
Really, so much of the governmental dysfunction we have now is attributable to Congress handing off large pieces of its job to the Executive, to the Judiciary, and to the regulators. A Convention does not keep a future Congress from continuing to do that, and nothing keeps a reinvigorated Right from insisting that the people it elects take some of those things back through passing some laws.

I saw this from the Tablet article linked on the previous thread.
I could subtitle it "Why I am not a Libertarian" (note the large L). For some reason Libertarians adopt isolationism, even though it doesn't follow from their basic principles. And then isolationism somehow lends itself to belief in the existence of a dark pro-Israel conspiracy, which in turn ends up aligning people like the Kochs with the anti-Israel left. Another case of Blair's Law.
In any case, AIPAC is about as "dark" as the NRA, CoC, or any of the other plainly visible and very active lobbying groups.

Analysis: The Mossad’s hi-tech Hamas hit-list
The Mossad has been accused by Hamas and some local Malaysians of assassinating Fadi Muhammad al-Batsh in a drive-by motorcycle shooting near a mosque in Malaysia on Saturday.
…Al-Batsh’s assassination, if it was carried out by the Mossad, could very well line up with the December 15, 2016, assassination in Tunis of Muhammad al-Zawari – also credited by most to the Mossad.
Zawari was an aeronautical engineer who manufactured drones for Hamas, and possibly also for Hezbollah.
Reports from Tunis indicated that he also designed an unmanned naval vessel that could attack other sea vessels from under the water.
There have been hints according to foreign reports that the Mossad has had ongoing operations in Syria and Iran; it is routinely expected to be active in regions across the globe.
…The next most important question will be: Even if everyone points a finger at the Mossad, will there be real evidence and real footprints or will the main evidence be how untraceable the assassins were?
Presuming the operation in Tunis was done by the Mossad, the elite spy agency under Cohen showed that it has discovered how to pull off assassinations in an age where most everything seems to be caught on video.
