1. Lots of people are glossing over the fact that Sessions appointed a US Attorney (Huber) to work in tandem with Horowitz. I don’t recall (please help me find it if it exists) another time in history where an Inspector General was assigned a prosecutor. I’d love to find one.
=========================
This is the first in a series of tweets which you can follow if you click on the link. There has been a grand jury in Utah for at least 6 months.
We should probably encourage someone in Salt Lake to stake out the airport and see who arrives.
Why do any of them get approved by the Senate when they are nominated for positions that need Senate approval?
Because Republicans were afraid to oppose Obama, especially early on.
After McCain handed Obama the easiest path to victory that an ineligible and unqualified candidate could ever dream of, the RNC attorneys approached the court with a "we aren't racists anymore" in an attempt to quash The Consent Decree.
Part of their brief explaned that since the country now has a black President and a black Attorney General it is proof that the Republicans are a post racist party.
My guess is that the RNC went Lucy/Football with the DNC and allowed the Obama presidency to happen thinking that they would have leveraged a better position in future elections. The Dems turned the negotiations into a teachable blackmailable moment to the RNC.
White House trolls the shit out of the press corp with title of this press release right now: 'WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE VIOLENT ANIMALS OF MS-13' pic.twitter.com/7CHbcenuIz

@NoahPollak
Pompeo: "Unlike the previous administration, we are looking for outcomes that benefit the Iranian people, not the regime." Ouch.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE VIOLENT ANIMALS OF MS-13
WHAT: The violent animals of MS-13 have committed heinous, violent attacks in communities across America. *
Too many innocent Americans have fallen victim to the unthinkable violence of MS-13s animals.
At the State of the Union in January 2018, President Trump brought as his guests Elizabeth Alvarado, Robert Mickens, Evelyn Rodriguez, and Freddy Cuevas, the parents of Nisa Mickens and Kayla Cuevas. Police believe these young girls were chased down and brutally murdered by MS-13 gang members on Long Island, New York, in 2016. Suffolk County Police Commissioner stated that the murders show a level of brutality that is close to unmatched.
In Maryland, MS-13s animals are accused of stabbing a man more than 100 times and then decapitating him, dismembering him, and ripping his heart out of his body. Police believe MS-13 members in Maryland also savagely beat a 15-year-old human trafficking victim. The MS-13 animals used a bat and took turns beating her nearly 30 times in total.
In Houston, Texas, two MS-13 members were charged after kidnapping and sexually assaulting one girl and murdering another. The two MS-13 animals laughed, smiled, and waved for cameras in court as they faced the charges.
New York communities have suffered tremendously from the abhorrent violence of MS-13. Nearly 40 percent of all murders in Suffolk County, New York between January 2016 and June 2017 were tied to MS-13.
In January 2017, MS-13 members were charged with killing and hacking up a teenager in Nassau County. MS-13s animals reportedly saw the murder as a way to boost their standing in the gang. In April 2017, police believe four young men were brutally murdered by MS-13 animals on Long Island. One victim was a young man in town visiting family during an Easter week vacation. Just last month, in April 2018, MS-13 reportedly called for its members on Long Island to kill a cop for the sake of making a statement.
*WHY: MS-13 is a transnational gang which follows the motto of kill, rape, control by committing shocking acts of violence in an attempt to instill fear and gain control. *
MS-13 is a transnational gang that has brought violence, fear, and suffering to American communities.* *MS-13, short for Mara Salvatrucha, commits shocking acts of violence to instill fear, including machete attacks, executions, gang rape, human trafficking, and more. In their motto, the animals of MS-13 make clear their goal is to kill, rape, control. The gang has more than 10,000 members in the United States spreading violence and suffering.
Recent investigations have revealed MS-13 gang leaders based in El Salvador have been sending representatives into the United States illegally to connect the leaders with local gang members. These foreign-based gang leaders direct local members to become even more violent in an effort to control more territory.
President Trumps entire Administration is working tirelessly to bring these violent animals to justice.
And further, how do we know the grand jury is in Utah and not DC? Btw, do federal crimes need to be prosecuted in the same place they were committed, or just inside the US, since by definition it's a crime against the country?
Good Morning! I'm looking forward to the *shocked* faces in Congress, especially in the Senate. There are some House members who support Trump, the Senate RINOs are probably looking for safe spaces.
Logic fail. Why do people insist that their imagination must be happening, thenclaim stupidity on the part of those who don't buy in? An absence of evidence of something is not equal to a failure to be transparent about it.

I knew that; thank you for reminding me.
TK 10:26. I think you are being too kind to the GOPe, TK. Many of them went easy on the Obama appointments because they too wanted the same outcome. I no longer will ever think otherwise. We could not dig this deep a hole just by ignoring what the Left was doing. This mess required the active wink-wink collaboration by both parties to get this bad.
President Trump at Langley thanks Senator Burr for being there and also thanks Devin Nunes, whom he calls "courageous" and then emphasizes courageous again.
I think, clarice, that if the tweets are sufficiently covered in national media, it wouldn't matter whether jurors had twitter accounts. The issue you raise is a fascinating one (at least to me). Does a defendant have a better case of fair trial impingement on the basis of governmental official Facebook posts, tweets, Instagrams? How about guest appearances by Trump on JOM? Now that I think of it, clarice, surely you can use your DC connections to get POTUS to post here! :-)
I am looking for the source for the grand Jury. The first article was simply to let you know that it wasn't in DC. (There is a statement in the article in which Sessions says so.)
Judge Nap on Daily Caller:“So this guy is in Utah. If he comes to Washington, D.C., and gets a half-dozen federal prosecutors assigned to him and a dozen or so FBI agents assigned to you him — He is a de facto special counsel. He’s doing what needs to be done,” Napolitano said. “He’ll impanel a grand jury. They’ll present evidence to the grand jury. The grand jury will issue subpoenas. If the subpoenas don’t work, he’ll go to a federal judge and get a search warrant.”
Napolitano thinks Huber must make the trip the D.C. to be effective, because his power would be limited if he remains in Utah.
“If he stays in Utah. He cannot impanel a grand jury in Utah to examine something that happened in D.C.,” Napolitano said. “All the evidence is in D.C. You’re examining NSA, FBI, DOJ, present and past. The Utah grand jury does not have jurisdiction over events in D.C.”
“He will be toothless if he stays in Utah,” Napolitano concluded. “I’ve never heard of an effective criminal prosecution without a grand jury. You present evidence to the grand jury. You get the grand jury to issue a subpoena.”
Hillary Clinton, who paid for an opposition research dossier which was used by the Obama administration to justify surveiling her political opponent, Donald Trump, and later to smear him as the sitting President, will receive Harvard's prestigious Radcliffe Medal on Friday for having a "transformative impact on society," according to the Ivy League university.
I thought some one said that a lot of grand jury indictments had all ready be handed down (20,000 I think I heard) and nothing happens. Hillary and the rest of the democrats are still running free. Instead of getting prison uniforms, she is getting awards from a university that should be closed IMO.
One of the adults in the room, not many but at least Mattis is head of the class. What a great interview. Only for those who want to learn where we are as far as mililtary preparedness and what more we need to do.

And again, this is kind of terrible thing to say … but our goal is to get them pulled in and listening before they actually understand what the story’s about."

Lindsey Graham serves on the Judiciary Committee. Many people will remember that while he was in the House, he was one of the Impeachment managers.
As such, he would be more attuned to irregularities within the FBI and DOJ. That is reason enough for them to spy on him.
