That the Chinese have successfully purchased container freight stations around the most key infrastructure in places like Panama and Long Beach has me worried and they now have a range of bases from Sri Lanka to Pakistan to Djibouti and looking for more. The Russians and Chinese are also deep into Venezuela now and may take over their oil assets in repayment for the loans they made.

It was pretty clear from the picture I saw there was an area that was too narrow for someone wearing a tank. I suppose it's possible that his body got stuck and he was carrying the tank.. The report I heard said he died from lack of oxygen. So who knows.

Rush in Hour 1 is channelling Captain Hate in his righteous anger at the maltreatment of Paul Manafort. It is nice to see Rush highlighting the abusive System that allows Mueller to get away with this injustice and it is good to know that Mueller and that system are being so publicly reviled on the airwaves. Rush, in addition to the Manafort incarceration, is also covering Mueller's fraud in indicting the Russian companies and then doing all the related back-peddling of not providing 'discovery' to Concord, and all the excuse making to the Judge who ought to throw the thing out since the Judge has told us he's fully aware of Mueller's dishonest intentions. That devolves into Rush then recounting Mueller's background of keeping the four innocent men in Jail in Massachusetts (re: The Whitey Bolger thing), for years while knowing they were innocent. Anyhow, good to wake up to that, and the only surprising thing is Mueller hasn't yet brought charges against Rush.

So I'll give a hat tip to Captain hate for this one. I don't know where Rush is picking up his anger but it's contagious.

Whew! Back from Kroger and I got about 2/3 of the car unloaded andput away. However, my knees are bothering me so I left the rest of the stuff in the car until my daughter get home and she can bring it in. I got all the perishables and frozen stuff in and put away.

Regarding Manafort - his lawyer filed some sort of grievance this morning which I will try to dig up. I think Byron York posted a section of it. While he is being kept in a solitary cell for his own safety, he is only allowed out 1 hour per day unless his lawyers show up to meet with him - and they are about 2 hours away by car. This sounds like crap to me.

When my ex-husband was still communicating with me 5 or so years ago, he let me know that he was running into Chinese all over Africa.

He is a mining engineer and had contract work in South Africa, the Congo, amd Zimbabwe. He said that they were all over those countries and they were very belligerent to other nationalities doing work.

One concession I'll make to Tom: no matter how much he leans on him, I don't think Manafort has anything that he knows about Trump that would be useful to Mueller.

I came to the belief several months back. If you and I can piece together what facts we know and come to that conclusion, then you know good and well Mueller knows that as well. Back from the annual Ox Roast in Mesopotamia, Ohio. My guess is because Manafort is so far refusing to cooperate with Mueller and testify against the Podestas. Perhaps Manafort is in fear of his or his families life if he testified against the Podestas?
