YIKE: OK, Kavanaugh's accuser comes forward. I don't know - given the therapist's notes from 2012, it seems pretty clear that something happened to her in high school. She gave the WaPo the names of two other attendees at this small gathering (maybe 8-10 people?) but they have not yet been heard from.

On the other hand, I really have no idea how far The Resistance will go in resisting, so maybe the basic traumatizing incident is true but the names have been changed to malign the innocent. I suspect we will hear from some of the other party-goers soon enough.

First of all that incident isn't severe enough to freak out anyone for 30 years. My guess is lots of High Schoolers at a party in a house with no parents went thru that.

Puking dogs yesterday, so up and down all midnight running Scout outside to retch, but a big treat was finally seeing what they've been sniffing in the back yard bushes the last few days---a huge Porcupine! Scout was too ill to chase him but Porky, about the size of 2 basketballs, was on the neighbors doorstep, then when he spotted us he crossed the street, slowly sauntered down the gutter, then disappeared into the other neighbors shrubbery where I've noticed Nelson has been sniffing around lately. It's nice to solve a mystery, and Scout appears much improved this AM for breakfast.

Speaking of breakfast (Excellent Pieces, Clarice, BTW) I have a highly technical question that needs your cooking expertise.

I've been making Oatmeal where you cut off the top of one of those little Quaker Oats packages along the line where it says "Cut Here."
Then you pour the oats into a bowl, fill the now empty package up to the "Fill with Water" line, pour it onto the oats, then Microwave for 2:30 seconds on high. If I rashly decide to do the dangerous move of making 2 packages at a time, I am guessing you simply double the water, but do you leave the timing the same or double it also, or maybe just tack on an extra few minutes at high and keep your fingers crossed? My recovering "Egg-chapped" lips want to know.
