I couldn't bear to watch it, so I'd like to thank everybody who toughed it out and reported back on moments they found striking.
For those who were disappointed in Ms. Mitchell, I wonder if part of her brief was to avoid making headlines. Rather than trying to prove Ford a liar, perhaps, in concert with committee Republicans, she had a list of key points that needed to be established -- markers which could be established without humiliating Ford and feeding the Dem / Feminista hysteria machine. A lot of people may be seeing the Dems and their predictable post-hearing spin in a rather different light. The only available Republican soundbytes are the ones where they are attacking Democrats and/or helping Kavanaugh.

Just spitballing but because no true vocal leader in the senate has emerged to carry the Trump torch (yes, Yertle does a great job with judges, but is hardly a firebrand), I think Lindsey Granite may have passed the audition.

Rachel Mitchell, Republican’s outside questioner, privately told GOP senators tonight that based on the evidence she heard at the hearing, she would not have prosecuted or even been able to obtain a search warrant, according to three Republicans
Booker and Harris have presidential aspirations (good luck with that).
During the primaries will their Dhimmicrat colleagues use their SCOTUS confirmation antics against them? Booker's fake friend? Harris leg-spreading charms with Willie Brown?
the repercussions of Trump's victory continue to relegate political careers to scrap heap. they just haven't figured it out yet!

I thought that is how the recovered (false) memory was dredged up in 2008.
I found it curious, among many things in her story, that she went to an upstairs bathroom. Didn't the house most likely have a guest toilet downstairs?
Maybe it's oversimplified, but I thought this was pretty accurate: What Republicans Get That Democrats Don’t About Sex. I think they're really talking about the political left, not necessarily Democrats as a whole, though, and I suspect most of the country really subscribes to the traditional view being described.
On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, Judge Brett Kavanaugh's opening statement was encouraging, despite how embarrassing this is to our country. Democrats have done enormous damage to the judiciary because they don't care for the Constitution; its incompatible with their progressive leftist ideology. These are the moments that separate the honorable from the dishonorable and the courageous from the cowards. You see the entire culture and society moving in one direction, and you decide no, I’m not going there. I have my principles. Moreover, Attorney Rachel Mitchell did exactly what was needed while interviewing Christine Ford on her allegations. In some cases, identifying gaps in Ford's story where she couldn't recollect how she got home from the incident in question. Ford also testified that she couldn't remember if she'd met with the Washington Post in person or by phone, just a few months prior. Most glaring were the statements under penalty of felony, from the supposed witnesses that Ford named, none corroborated her story or even acknowledged the party even took place
I agree. Like I said, Kavanaugh is a GOPe type of choice so GWB should support him; but it's good to have him pushing in the same direction. Plus it should infuriate the NTs.

Judge Kavanaugh carried the day as it was fitting for him to do. It was his life, character, and family on the block.
In days to come, Washington DC will gravitate away from Senator Feinstein. And after our sweeping mid-term victories, despite her imminent re-election, there will be whispers of her being investigated re her numerous self-serving and allegedly criminal enrichment of herself and her despicable husband (another Blumenthal!).
I think we saw history in the making today. Judge Kavanaugh touched the hearts of millions of Americans today and brought them to tears. He is his Mother's son, and she taught him well. Where he went to school doesn't mean sh*t in my book: that man is a product of good, solid "home training"; a son who jumped over every bar raised in his path during his formative years.
There are 10 shit heels coming out of Ivy League factories for every one Brett Kavanaugh. Kudos Maw Kavanaugh Esq. You spared us having to suffer one more of those rats in Italian loafers.
I wonder what the Dems expected to happen. That a cowed Kavanaugh would bend over backward not to offend? That claiming "We need to bring in the FBI" would be irrefutable? That none of the 11 Rs would have enough gumption to call them out? Amazing to see how misguided they were.
"
The worst thing is that Ford is rewarded with fame and fortune."
That would be putrid if in fact it does come to pass.
However, the liklihood of Judge Kavanaugh being confirmed would make her story unmarketable, as in Y-A-W-N.
The only way for her to be some kind of political heroine worthy of cashing in would be the role of giant killer, as the 15 year old GIRL who harbored a dark secret against her abuser until one day....
Of course, this is just one way to look at it. But if i was the poor slob who had to carry her media account to promote all the dreck... i'd definitely have a better time of it if Kavanaugh backed out or goes unconfirmed.
I'm behind -- someone might have mentioned this.
On Lou Dobbs, Ed Rollins said one of his wealthy donors to his pac donated one millions dollars today, and he was going to use it to defeat any Republican who votes 'no' on Judge Kavanaugh. Rollins added, "and my donor also told me he has several other friends who will donate money, too, and we plan to use it.
I think she's a liar. I didn't believe her. If she had a bad experience, a sexual assault like the one she supposedly had, then she's no different than millions of women. It happened to me when I was dating. I bit the hell out of a guy's arm when he had me pinned down, and when I say I bit the hell out of his arm, I did. I almost took a chunk out of his arm. There were several times over the dating years that guys pushed and pushed to go farther, and it was not shattering.
Ford exaggerated something that happened to her and she used it to get Judge Kavanaugh, and President Trump. She is a liar. I can't believe so many people think she was credible.
Actually, I'd like to go a few rounds in a ring with her and knock her down a few times. I'm still mad after watching her giggle. Good gawd, she needed to be exposed.
Mitchell was pathetic. She took the first five minutes to explain, and she took a minute or two to explain every thing she asked Ford. I wanted to shake her. But, wow, she flew into Kavanaugh as if she was eager. I don't think she hurt him, but I was sure glad she was stopped.
For once, I was impressed with the blonde, Megyn Kelly who used to be on Fox. She appeared on the live streaming with Chuck Todd, Savanah Guthrie, Lester Holt, and the other NBC moron Andrea. Kelley actually stuck up for Kavanaugh and pointed out that perhaps Mitchell was using her questioning as "death by a thousand cuts" for Ford. I don't know if that was accomplished, but I was pleased and surprised that Kelley was so fair to Kavanaugh. I watched all day long, carried my laptop with me as I did work around the house.
Now they have caved in the past, notably with Bork
Variants of the strategy have worked in elections, like with Roy Moore, Christine O'Donnell, Todd Akin. The last two weren't about sex, but they'll be the playbook if someone like Amy Barrett gets nominated next. Find something she's said and distort, distort, distort, and hope Republicans throw her under the bus.
“With the Senate Judiciary Committee holding a vote at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow, a Senate insider has told Townhall that Kavanaugh has the votes to make it out of committee and the votes to be confirmed on the floor for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court. Sens. Flake (R-AZ), Collins (R-ME), Murkowski (R-AK), and Manchin (D-WV) are expected to vote in favor of Kavanaugh. All the Republicans are voting yes. Also, in the rumor mill, several Democrats may break ranks and back Kavanaugh.”
Ah the z Boys do have an involuntary goose stepper in their comment section, but they does raise a,good question why did Jerusalem fall: Jeremiah warned them yet they didn't take heed.
kk: "In days to come, Washington DC will gravitate away from Senator Feinstein."
In CA we have a choice of 2 Dems for Senator in the Nov election. This is due to our "jungle primary". No Repub will be on the ballot.
I can't be the only non-Dem in CA who intended to hold his nose and vote for DiFi. Because her punk opponent is ghastly. Not gonna happen. She veered left to peel off some of his supporters. She should have considered that at least a third of the voters will be Repubs or conservative Independents. She could have won the lion's share of that group.
I think I'll write-in the wonderful Tom McClintock.
I'm with KK. She'll be briefly on Coal Bear's gaggle of clapping seals and low ratings cable shows and then be an Anita Hill level footnote. But most people will think of her as a nutty shrink who made a national pest out of herself.
My two cents on Mitchell, she let it out that Chris Garrett and Chrissie Blasey were an item and that as Mr. Whelan suggested that Ms. Ford's seared memory seems like David Remnick's composite of Obama's girlfriends by saying she would not go there with Ford.
Quite clearly Ford Kavanaugh Judge and Garrett hung around together but the event did not happen. Admission on both sides that they attended parties together. Whelan little tweet last week may have been a warning to Ford as to the information the GOP had.
Also surprised that Leleand Ingaham would not recall Kavanaugh if they were in same circle of friends and Garrett and Blaisey were an item.
Here's a link to Graham's five minutes. Enjoy!!

Indeed. She made Ford's testimony forgettable. Nothing memorable about it.

Dhimmi strategy seems to be fatally flawed with their step-by-step plans, at some point, including the statement "Then, a miracle will occur!"
The posers all must see themselves as Doug Flutie.

"

That would be putrid if in fact it does come to pass.
However, the liklihood of Judge Kavanaugh being confirmed would make her story unmarketable, as in Y-A-W-N.
The only way for her to be some kind of political heroine worthy of cashing in would be the role of giant killer, as the 15 year old GIRL who harbored a dark secret against her abuser until one day....
Of course, this is just one way to look at it. But if i was the poor slob who had to carry her media account to promote all the dreck... i'd definitely have a better time of it if Kavanaugh backed out or goes unconfirmed.

Moved over from last thread:
I'm behind -- someone might have mentioned this.
On Lou Dobbs, Ed Rollins said one of his wealthy donors to his pac donated one millions dollars today, and he was going to use it to defeat any Republican who votes 'no' on Judge Kavanaugh. Rollins added, "and my donor also told me he has several other friends who will donate money, too, and we plan to use it.

another of my comments from end of last thread:

Also, in the rumor mill, several Democrats may break ranks and back Kavanaugh.”

kk: "In days to come, Washington DC will gravitate away from Senator Feinstein."
