joan / Kev / every JOM'er -

I *try* to read all of the wonderful comments that all of the posters here contribute to - despite almost *never* being able to catch-up to 'Just Ten Hours.'

I share many of the comments, insights, and links - as far and wide as I can.

One of my greatest regrets to always being behind is that I cannot leave timely responses to virtually *any* of the great comments/links/pics that are shared here.

So, please add my voice to those who appreciate everyone's efforts, and to encourage anyone who feels overlooked to take heart and keep posting.

Well the FULL COMMIE circus will have to pack up it's tents and move on to the next STALINIST plan.

Maybe. Remember Kavanaugh said immediately after the allegations broke that he wanted a hearing to defend himself.

Tom R

Tom R, was what Kavanaugh's family just went through worth this stupid "control the October news cycle" plan?

The obvious answer to your question is Yes for anyone who realizes the GOP winning the midterms is crucial to the future of the MAGA agenda.

I think most Americans with functional brains knew exactly how the Democrats would behave. I certainly wasn't surprised with how they treated Kavanaugh were you? Kavanaugh himself knew what his family would be put through when he accepted the nomination. Thanks to the sacrifice Kavanaugh and his family were forced to endure IMO the Democrats chances of winning the 2018 midterms went down a lot thanks to how they treated Kavanaugh.

Now that the vile and reprehensible nature of the Democrats was broadcast on national TV for all to see, time to start releasing more information on the criminal corruption of the Obama administration.

Constant references to there being some "grand plan" doesn't strike me as anything but thumbsucking in the face of so much treachery and uncertainty, or a need to continuously reinforce one's opinions with faux certainty.

Our government is at war with itself. It's been said over and over, that in war the "battle plan" goes out the window in the first minutes of engagement.

Our enemy is corrupt but well-financed, as their reliance on lawfare displays. I'll settle for tracking battlefield prowess such as what we saw yesterday in the Senate hearing.

And i will pray that there is more of that to be found, multiplied, leveraged, as more hell is unleashed on our enemies within.

There seemed to be a behavior pattern that led us to victory.... stand firm and use the righteous artillery of honesty, sincerity, disciplined messaging, and command of the moral high ground.

Can't plan that kind of valor. In fact, i think planning runs from that kind of TNT. The GOPe are famous for it.

Dave (in MA)

I didn't really think that Mrs. Kavanaugh looked stone faced. I thought she looked like she was fed up with the whole thing. If I was in her place I'd be wondering if this country was worth her husband's service anymore.

Kevlar Kid

The "news cycle" ramp up to the mid-terms argument is all well and good--- but it's too obvious of an argument re what's optimal.

Then there are the facts on the ground. The declass initiative was handed over to Horowitz how long ago now?

It was supposed to be expedited. 38 days to go. Let's say another 14 calendar days get sucked up. The media will compound voter frustration on our side in making the decision to hand it to Horowitz look impotent. In the meantime, the foolish GOP whores who will be shivering in the wake of Kavanaugh's "rage" slapping their master's in their faces, will start currying favor with the Left and their Dhimmi colleagues.

in the meantime the roar will increase that POTUS is damaging national security blah blah blah.

i think POTUS will declassify his ass off after we wipe the floor with the Dhimmis. Yesterday cinched that run.

he has to do it when he has leverage to tell the "institutional saviors" of the DOJ to go penetrate each other, and lets the chips fall where they may.

declass before election makes DJT POTUS the Partisan. declass after the election makes DJT POTUS the Magnificent.

i'd be shocked if Horowitz released anything decisive before November. and if he does there won't be time to digest it enough, among LIV any ways.

the GOP played it smart during this pre-October surprise. now the Dhimmis aint got one cept a redux of this current disaster they pulled.

who knows LOL

yesterday convinced me, this army of uno, that American mass audience SAW some people on the battlefield pick up the colors and rally people FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY--- not just "support the President."

DJT has been rallying, literally, Americans to our own "beautiful" "wonderful" country. Not to himself.

He's believable to some very fine Americans--- and we saw that yesterday; a lot of us saw that yesterday in at least one fine American.

i won't fault anybody here for being cautious or cautiously optimistic about the mid-terms. i'm certain (i'm beyond the point of optimism) and all in that we will destroy the Dhimmis in detail come the mid-terms.

Kavanaugh channeled his inner Stonewall Jackson yesterday. it may be a minor tide that's changed, but change it has--- just in time for the mid-terms. DJT is going to milk that.

I'm with Uncle Al on this one: JUST WIN, BABY!

I don’t think anyone could have anticipated what the Dems did to Kavanaugh. That they would try to derail his nomination, sure. But going so despicably low so as to label him a serial rapist? From what Trump said and did, I don’t think he was sure what Kavanaugh’s reaction was going to be, either. He hoped the man had mettle, of course. Miss Marple (the real one)

My opinion on strategy:

I believe that the administration expected a huge push by Planned Parenthood and the abortion rights people. I certainly saw a lot of that on Twitter. The appointment was designed to be on the fast track, until DiFi released that letter.

I do not think the attack on Kavanaugh as a sexual abuser was anticipated. However, what you saw afterwards was pretty nimble, as well as revealing as to how the dems think.

Grassley gave every concession in order to hear Ford as the attacks escalated. The dems delayed and offered all sorts of excuses. I believe they thought that Kavenaugh would withdraw. Fortunately, he has a spine of steel.

I also know that the dems were totally blindsided by his impassioned speech defending himself and his fighting back against the creepy insinuation questions that the dems came up with. I would not be surprised if he got some coaching on those.

I also think his demeanor in the Martha McCallum interview was tamped down in order to further sandbag the dems when they got to yesterday's hearing; Feinstein herself complained he didn't offer the dem senators the traditional deference.

So, a little bit of strategic planning and a little bit of nimble improvisation (which Trump is very good at, too).
