Senate Republicans should not have invited Christine Blasey Ford to testify without first requiring her to answer written questions under oath and produce any documents supporting her claims. The polygraph results were finally released Wednesday, but where are those therapist notes? What questions was Ms. Ford asked, and how did she answer them, in each of those settings? What do othersโwitnesses either to the alleged assault or to Ms. Fordโs recounting of itโhave to say about it under oath?
First of all, Man Tran, I'm sorry to hear about Herb.

Senator Graham said that he doesn't believe one of them and the other is crazy as a loon. He doesn't want to put any stock into her story by believing her at all, it would seem to me.
Juanita Broaddrick, the woman who has accused former President Bill Clinton of rape, will hold a rally Thursday in support of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh ahead of his highly anticipated appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Broaddrick, along with representatives of Women for Trump, will be on Capitol Hill Thursday to throw their support behind Kavanaugh and highlight "the hypocrisy of Democrats in how they treat victims of sexual assault," according to a press release promoting the event.
I hope Kavanaugh hits Feinstein right between the eyes.
"Senator, you are a national disgrace."
He should, but he won't, unfortunately. The statement I'd write for him would be something along these lines:
"Good morning.
Ms. Mitchell, I'm not going to dignify this farce and answer any questions from a sex-crimes prosecutor, so I apologize for the Committee wasting your time.
Mrs. Ford, I don't know whether you've mistaken me for someone else who really attacked you, whether you're delusional, or whether you are a flat-out liar, and considering the damage you've done to my reputation and my family, I don't really care which it is. My attorney is waiting for you outside this room, by the way. He's got some papers you'll need to sign for.
Senator Feinstein, you are a disgusting liar and a wretched human being, and a disgrace to this institution, and to the people who sent you to Washington. It's obvious that you never believed Mrs. ford's baseless accusations, because if you did, you would have followed Senate procedures and the law and brought your concerns to Chairman Grassley when they came to your attention, and you would have handled them appropriately so as to protect the reputations and privacy of everyone concerned. You didn't do that, because all you cared about was making vicious and dishonest political attacks on me and my family. Your Democrat colleagues are no better, and I have nothing but contempt for all of you.
Chairman Grassley, you pandered to the ridiculous, unbelievable and slanderous stories Mrs. Ford is peddling. You allowed Senator Feinstein to lie to your face, to break all the rules of the Senate and of this Committee, and you've presided over a circus for several weeks now. You've allowed my family to become a target, you've allowed other innocent people to be brought into this pathetic joke of a process and let them be slandered and ridiculed. You're a disgrace as well.
No one on this Comittee has any moral authority whatsoever. You are all dishonest, cowardly and amoral human beings, and I'm ashamed that I've allowed myself and my family to be put through this so I can beg for your approval like a dig seeking table scraps, when the truth is that not one of you is worthy of your position or the trust the public has mistakenly given you.
I apologize to President Trump, because I must withdraw my nomination. I don't want this seat, because, frankly, I can't stand to be in the same city as any of you, let alone the same building."
Just opening remarks from DiFi literally made me sick. Can't possibly watch this travesty, at least until it's BK's turn, so I'm counting on y'all for updates.

Does anyone really believe any minds will be changed by this. The media has already written their stories, the senators all know how theyโre going to vote. The tears will flow on cue. The real consequences will come later in November.

Boy I bet George SOROS paid for that "very expensive remodel" of her house.

So ... women are as smart, strong and capable as men. Thus, we should allow them into combat roles in the military.
But .... they are always victimized by men, and should be given special considerations.
Anyone else see the logical inconsistency here?

Remember ... this is ALL about protecting the ability to kill babies in utero.

when does she get to the bursting chausses?

Yes henry, specific on what cannot possibly be disproved and vague as to what can.
I despise women with baby voices, especially at her age.

Women are smart like Jews are smart because DARWINISM..
Hell's Bells. They werent allowed to vote until 1920..couldn't own property..abused by men for Millenia.
You'd have to be schmarter than men to survive.

She's TERRIFIED to give testimony before a Senate committee?
But the tears magically flow on demand.
Having to grade a pile of papers must turn her into a weeping, sodden mass of humanity.
Good grief, this is third-rate theater.

She's more credible than I had guessed, but that's a decidedly low bar to clear. My Mom is right - Feinstein is a bitch.

My money is on Jon Favreau as the scriptwriter for her testimony.

Re: Doors
She says she was pushed into a bedroom and then locked inside.
Bedroom door locks are there to keep people out, not in. How is it even possible to lock anyone in anything from the inside?
Then, after getting knocked off the bed, she runs out the door which now magically is not locking her inside.
Does that make sense to anyone?

What a crock of BS. How can you be conflicted after you already wrote the letter, including giving it to the WaPo? What did you expect? She is a self-impaled victim.

Is anyone else crying yet?
Posted by: fdcol63 ๐บ๐ธ | September 27, 2018 at 10:49 AM
fdcol63 ๐บ๐ธ, not really. It's the perceived threat to Roe in the minds of the other side. No matter how many Constitutionalists we get on SCOTUS, nobody's going to get their "right" to grind up inconvenient babies taken away. That train has sailed, as they say.

You WIMMENS at JOM should think about it.

We save those babies from Republucan cages, so...

She's giving Flake a good excuse.
Posted by: Extraneus | September 27, 2018 at 10:52 AM
Does anyone really believe any minds will be changed by this. The media has already written their stories, the senators all know how theyโre going to vote. The tears will flow on cue. The real consequences will come later in November.
