Anyone ever sort out who was paying him? Or is he really a free-agent, maybe trying to work his way into the "family" by doing services and paying "tributes" to the progs?
My cousin in England's take on Warren's DNA. Remember she is an expert in Family History, including how to read DNA threads:
How interesting, Jack. My take on this is that the science of DNA testing is still in a very early stage and is being constantly updated. The real advantage of DNA testing at the moment is in connecting people who have shared DNA up to four, five or six generations back. Before that the amount shared is too small to prove anything.
However, with tracing ethnicity you are on much shakier ground. Your DNA is compared with a test group taken from various ethnicities (people whose ancestors have all, as far as they can tell, come from the same area) and this is being constantly improved by increasing test groups etc. Recently Ancestry (as I'm sure you're aware) updated its ethnicity results and my results changed quite considerably as did Ced's. These will probably get changed again before too long as they further improve their techniques. So ethnicity is still a very fragile science and cannot be taken as the absolute proof.
With Elizabeth Warren's claim to Native American ancestry, I would have thought the main problem is that Native Americans will not have their DNA tested so it has been unable to test her DNA against people with full Cherokee ancestry.. Using other ethnicities is a bit of a cop out really. I doubt if anything is proved or unproved by her recent DNA test.
So far as her claim to Native American ancestry is concerned is similar to you and I claiming French ancestry. Of course, we have French ancestry but it is so far back that it is a minute part of our whole and many UK descendants of the Piguenits would not show any French connection in their DNA because the Piguenit DNA may not have come down to us. So far as you and I are concerned, our DNA shows a connection so it has to be either Parker or Piguenit DNA or it could be both.
The only way to prove her Native American DNA is through doing detailed old fashioned paper research. However, I'm sure that half the people in the US with 17th or 18th US ancestry could also have a soupcon of Native American ancestry so her claim seems rather far fetched and searching for pie in the sky really.
Fifty-two percent (52%) of voters say it’s better for the country if Congress works with Trump most of the time. Thirty-eight percent (38%) think it’s better if Congress opposes the president most of the time. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure.
I'm trying to imagine which Democrats are saying it's better if Congress works with Trump. Aren't they supposed to #Resist at all costs?
My ancestors were part of the Daniel Boone settlements, and they married Cherokee women. The interesting thing is we have documentation—marriage certificates and birth certificates with the wives and mothers names listed as simply “Cherokee woman”. No given names, I suppose because either they didn’t know how to spell them or they didn’t think the Indian women warranted further acknowledgement by listing their actual names. Whatever the intermingling of my male ancestors with Cherokee women was well documented and went on for several generations.
I bet he did the Stormy Daniels case on contingency. He she doesn't win he gets zilch. daniels ought to sue him for malpractice considering the award of attorney's fees.

Improving, as are Leah Vukmir's for Senate. That is per Reince this morning on talk radio. Basically, even the left is pointing to WI's hot economy as an obstacle. His opponent is mumbling about tax cuts (in the middle of a campaign focused on repealing Act 10 and increasing taxes). That says more than the polls (which are roughly where they were on the recall before the vote).

I think there is something everyone is missing: the 50.5% who voted for Hillary are still alive in a relative sense. That tells you that any argument you can make, in re the economy, national security, MAGA tactics, deregulation, etc. will follow on deaf ears.
I sincerely believe that there is significant populations of Americans who are tone deaf to executive or legislative results that improve their lives. They are too busy paying bills, trying to find additional funds for their kids education or activities, or cooking and such to be bothered by political minutae like the Trumpians at the rallies. They respond to yard signs, TV and radio ads, do not think the country is at risk, and will vote just like their neighbors.
I sure hope I am wrong but we are still a 50-50 country, or close to it, and that is unfortunate. But when you consider that even college educated adults went to school where their instructors and professors were all leftists. Not the way to prepare citizens for the right way.

Remember the big push where everyone had to go to college? This is how we ended up with kids with degrees in retail merchandising, art installations, and sports fitness. Besides getting more money for the colleges ( and putting more people in debt) it also gave them a larger target group for indoctrination.
My grandmother was a normal school teacher - got about 2 years of school and then started teaching. She went back to get the 4-year degree when it was mandated by state of Indiana in the late 50's. When she went back she was rolling her eyes at the stuff they were telling her,men cause by then she was in her 40's and had years of experience.
Now, all oaf this could be a weird coincidence, but it's not had to imagine a master plan to make the population all think a preferred way. And you are right - a lot of people are consumed with everyday a minutiae and just accept it as normal.
I sincerely believe that there is significant populations of Americans who are tone deaf to executive or legislative results that improve their lives. Indeed, the poll found that 48 percent of the public is optimistic about the current economy and optimistic it will get better, the highest level in the poll's 11-year history and more than double the 20 percent registered in the December 2016 survey.
Working in the Republicans' favor is not only record-high optimism about the economy but also about the stock market and near-record high optimism about wage growth. American expect their wages to grow an average of 5.1 percent in the next year, up from 4.7 percent in the June survey and the highest since 2008. A record-high 51 percent of the public say now is a good time to invest in stocks, with a record-low 25 percent saying it's a bad time.
Normal school is a midwestern institution IIRC to escalate the number of teachers for rural schools as the country expanded. Lots of top intellectuals came out of the midwestern/eastern slope schools of the west.
How's your computer and car situation. Did you ever call HP about your monitor issues?
--What happens if the Brits implicate Obama himself, not just minions? Would the MSM ignore that as usual?--
We need to remember that we are coexisting with what are essentially Soviets at this point.
There is no crime among Soviets except for those deemed expendable or internal threats to those not expendable.
There is no act nor documentation no matter how serious that will allow the prog press to not defend to the death any person deemed essential to the cause.
An authentic memo from Barry ordering Brennan to illegally spy on Trump directly would be fought to the death by our fourth estate fifth column.
Am waiting on a tow truck now to come get the SUV. Got a garage my sister uses to work on it. While it it there I will have an oil change and get it winterized.
Computer: got the monitor but am looking for the correct cable. If that doesn't work I may be heading to Best Buy. What worries me about this is that there are things on my old PC that I don.t ant to lose, like pictures and old recordsmandmsuxh. Since I am such a doofus at this stuff, I am afraid I will screw up the data transfer.
I just wish someone would tell Stormy and Avenatti that their sell by date has expired.
Someone get the hook and drag their carcasses off the stage.
We normal Americans are so done with you.
One more reason the SJWs/Communists will eventually lose: Conservatives are superior when it comes to the Meme War and thus winning the hearts and minds of Generation Z.
MM-I can guarantee you there was a master plan and it is currently in high gear.
That would also be why yesterday's post is citing a publication last week where the so-called 'troika' of soviet psychologists are now the basis for mandated learning theory.
I also downloaded all the implementation documents from a UN entity called Alliance to Monitor Learning this morning in advance of their meeting in Hamburg, Germany that starts tomorrow.
There was a 21st century Human Values Forum recently in Korea that character educators (funded by the McDonnell fortune) from the US went to. They were there because there is a global push to mandate character initiatives that are all about mandated altruism and the collective.

How are Walker’s chances?
Improving, as are Leah Vukmir's for Senate. That is per Reince this morning on talk radio. Basically, even the left is pointing to WI's hot economy as an obstacle. His opponent is mumbling about tax cuts (in the middle of a campaign focused on repealing Act 10 and increasing taxes). That says more than the polls (which are roughly where they were on the recall before the vote).

Elliott, fine doggerel! As such, it needs to be tested when my tongue is lubricated by several beers... as in some time this evening. ;)

I think Rosenstein made that comment about wearing a wire.

WOW, John James is making headway in Michigan. We are bringing jobs back to the State, and the People of Michigan appreciate it. Debbie Stabenow has been no help, if anything, a major hindrance. John James is a star, I hope the voters see it. Polls are tightening!

Fabelhaft! Ringelnatz or Christian Morgenstern could not have done better.

Khashoggi question #12: Since Khashoggi was living in the US why didn't he just go to the Saudi consulate in DC to get his divorce papers?
Posted by: Tom R | October 16, 2018 at 03:46 PM
I'm with Clarice, too. Khashoggi is/was not our friend.
The video did not show his face wile entering the consulate, did it? It would have been easy to photoshop a facelss Khashoggi coming out.
Who has helped the US most in the ME, the Saudis or Erdogan?

Wolfe is walking. And you have nothing to say about it?
Posted by: Eye Doctor . | October 16, 2018 at 03:57 PM
Jack,
Remember the big push where everyone had to go to college?

This is what earns their vote:
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/10/15/mixed-signals-for-democrat-blue-wave-in-november-cnbc-survey-says.html

An authentic memo from Barry ordering Brennan to illegally spy on Trump directly would be fought to the death by our

Jack,
Am waiting on a tow truck now to come get the SUV.
