The stock market conquers fear, for a day anyway. It's Trump-Time, so like the old saying, tomorrow is another week, next week is another month, and so on.
Now that the bear market is over, the Giants season is over and the Yankees season is over I can switch my laser-like focus to... well, definitely NOT the Knicks.
Why aren't basketball teams woke? Mark Cuban is a credible sex maniac etc.

henry,
I stared the cocktail hour a little early, lamenting the fact that there are no more Twinkies, Sno Balls, Ding Dongs, cupcakes or fruit pies.
Somebody should start making those with all natural ingredients. I bet they would make a fortune.

Willard;
In the dim flickering past, long before the dark and brooding Tom Maguire and anonamom destroyed my delightful and joy filled world, I used to jump for joy when ma put those chocolate Hostess cupcakes in my sack lunch, though Twinkies were also highly prized. And like TK, I treasured my Hostess fruit pies, especially the berry, though lemon, cherry and apple were all keepers.

Idea for a restaurant:
All 1950's food. "Vintage food! Eat like your grandma!"
Menus would include baked goods knocked off the Hostess line, grilled cheese (with American cheese and white bread), home fries cooked in bacon grease, Jello salad with either grated carrots in orange Jello or grated cabbage in lime Jello, cheeseburgers made with American cheese, etc.
You could play 50's music and have nostalgic decor. I am sure you all could add to the menu.

Hannity is interviewing John Cox right now. Cox is the Republican running for governor in California.
Cox gets one word in for Hannity's three words.
Hannity lived in Santa Barbara where he "stole an orange of a tree and it was the best orange he ever had."
This makes him an expert out here.

It's Hannity again, Ext. I agree with you that he is on our side. He has been very well connected to Trump. If Trump is playing him for a fool or he is playing his viewers for fools with Kabuki-4D it will be unrecoverable at the polls.
The video starts with Trump complementing the people who are going after Rosenstein. Granted he is not acknowledging that they are going after RR. He sticks to the collusion BS. But, is it reasonable to believe that he doesn't know about their animosity towards RR?

However I'm not sure social libertarianism is a luxury that can be indulged too vigorously in an era of libertine Marcusians trying to overthrow Western Civ and a culture and society already well along in accepting their lead.
Social libertarianism in an amoral, corrupt society is not unlike running a welfare state with open borders; the moral hazard can be fatal.
